I wasn't sure about the steam feature and find I use it a ton! I have two little boys so sticky-stuck on messes are a part of our daily life. I oddly find joy in using this vacuum to clean those up, can clean up the small food crumbs, and then essentially mop the floors at the same time. I use it daily now, and it has changed our life, sounds dramatic, I know, but imagine an all-in-one vacuum that eliminates steps from your routine. The best part, my 4 year old LOVES the cleaning cycle (which I think is the best part) it self cleans with the click of a button, no more stinky vacuum to deal with. He loves to watch it spin, so bonus we get added entertainment! Truly, this is the best all in one vacuum for a busy mom like me. Will buy this product over and over again if I could. I have two todders and two dogs in my house, and my old steam mop broke. I decided to splurge on this and OMG so glad I did. Our floor feels so clean, and I'm not going back. You do have to clean it after every use, but that's honestly not a big deal as they made it so easy to take apart which isn't always the case with my other bissell products, 10/10!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to put together. Does not save time. The footprint is too small when you have a lot of floor to clean. I have wood like plank tile. Does not get into the grooves well. Have to pass over multiple times to get dried on food up. Also , think it will be expensive to operate. I filled tank 4 times , which was two of the sample bottles sent. Wish there was a bigger machine with more of a bristle brush for tiled floor. In the end my floor was clean, but I had a backache!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start this review by saying I have an almost entirely hard floor home (luxury vinyl planking and tile), a toddler, two cats, and an Australian Shepherd. There's constant chaos, hair, and crumbs. This machine has been an absolute life saver and has completely changed how I clean my home. Prior to using this machine, I was using a run of the mill mop and a vacuum. It took 2+ hours to clean my main area flooring...and having a toddler, trying to find that time to clean the floors is HARD. I love having a clean home and it was truly hard to keep up with all of this craziness until the hydrosteam came into my life. It is a beautiful machine, so easy to put together, and it is a BREEZE to clean with. Fill with water, the solution of choice depending on what kind of clean you need (they all smell amazing), and go. It vacuums, cleans, and steams hard to clean messes when you need it. I've used this on my large area rug, my entire home, and used it to sanitize my laundry room flooring where I keep our litter boxes. I have yet to find a mess that this machine doesn't clean with steam wash mode. The only downside is that the tank has to be emptied a lot and it is a little bit harder to clean up once you're done cleaning, but I have a lot of area to clean and I want to keep my crosswave in A+ condition. I always use the clean mode after cleaning, take it apart, clean all the pieces and leave them out to dry. So for me, a little bit more effort than a regular mop, but the rest of it is so easy that it makes up for it entirely. My floors always smell amazing and I can clean up just about any mess in just a few minutes. Thank you so much to stellar reviews and Bissell for letting me try this out. It has changed my life!

It is a great machine that can get the job done for allllllll the occasions! I'm serious, I used it to clean a maple syrup spill, my area rug, my bathroom tile floors, my slate flooring, and even my 8 year old's vomit, and it did a tremendous job each time. I especially loved the steam mode (you can see the steam, it's hot and it works) That self-cleaning mode is a lifesaver as well. I'm a huge fan of this machine and would highly recommend it for someone that's looking for an all-in-one mopping/vacuuming machine.

I have been wanting to purchase the Bissell Crosswave for quite a long time after seeing many rave reviews so I was so excited to be receiving this product. First, I love all the updates they have made in the CrossWave including the HydroSteam feature as well as the self-cleaning function (which was one of the only complaints I saw people making was concerning the cleanup) The unit was so simple to put together, just attaching the handle and very clear instructions for use and functions. I was thrilled from the first use, it left my floors and rugs smelling so fresh and you could feel the clean as well. As someone who regularly deep cleans my carpets I know what clean feels like and the CrossWave provided the same feeling of clean. My floors were spotless and no streaks or residue. The self-clean function was awesome and so easy with the included tray to set the unit in and place the roller in to dry. The Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam lived up to all of my expectations and more and I have already told all of my friends and family they have to have this! As a pet owner (1 Corgi and 1 cat) and parent this is a MUST have for any busy family. It cuts downs on the cleaning time by doing the vacuum and mop all in one. Very happy customer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is not a single thing I do not love about this all-in-one vacuum, it is the peak of efficiency and convenience. Bissell has truly hit it out of the park. I have been a long-time Bissell customer, specifically of the Crosswave models. I purchased our first Crosswave in 2019 and thus began our appreciation of the series. Since then, I have also acquired the Pet Pro (our home has 5 kiddos, 3 dogs, and 3 cats so we need all the help we can get). I have loved both that I have, but this one-the Crosswave HydroSteam- is absolutely my favorite. It cleans my floors flawlessly with minimal effort and elbow grease from me. The various mode types all have certain situations to use them in, and they are so easy to switch between! If there is a sticky mess, which happens more than I'd like to admit (again, 5 kids), the hydrosteam mode takes it off in no time at all. Since this version has the steam, it seems better equipped to pull in the water residue on the floor after "mopping". I have vinyl, tile, and hardwood in my floor-none of which I want to leave water sitting on, and the vacuum pulls up 98% of that water residue. All of the vacuum modes are extremely powerful, I'm not sure if it is because it is corded, but it is great. I have yet to encounter a mess it doesn't clean up within moments. Once I am done cleaning with it, I need to clean the vacuum itself (you don't want to leave it dirty- after all it is a cleaning device, it needs to be clean in order to clean my floors properly). Cleaning the vacuum is so easy, it takes less than a minute. The vacuum, on top of cleaning my floors, also cleans itself. Once clean, it sits in a corner (taking up minimal space) and is available on a moments notice. My only complaint - a small one - is that I wish the cord had an extra 10-15 feet on it. I was unsure at first if this would work for me as I have 4 very hairy cats that come in and out and cause a lot dirt and hair mess. I also have a very clumbsy significant other and this cross wave has done so amazing I want to find a reason to use it !!!! Very easy to use and clean. My favorite mode is the steam but It is just as easy to use for dry messes . I also used this on my area rug no issues ! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prior to receiving this wet and dry vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel I had only used a traditional vacuum and carpet steamer. After testing this product out I can officially report that this product combines the best of both worlds AND allows you to steam surfaces like your wood floors. The first area I tested the wet and dry vacuum on was a large rug in our living room which is also right by our front door (a very high traffic area). I used the SteamWash mode and could not believe how dirty the water in the vacuum was when I was done - SteamWash mode clearly got a lot of dirt and filth out of our carpet. I also loved that the rug was not soaking wet after it had been washed, so I wasn't worried about the dog or anyone else walking over the carpet and tracking wet feet around the house. I then did the SteamWash mode on the hardwood floors in my kitchen, where my baby tends to drop a lot of food. SteamWash mode tackled the sticky messes on my floor with no problem. The stand alone vacuum mode is pretty standard compared to any other vacuum I would use. All in all, I would absolutely purchase this wet and dry vacuum in place of a regular vacuum to be able to use the SteamWash. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars and not 5 was the cleaning process does take a bit of time once your SteamWash is complete. I get a little faster each time I do it, but it is still more time consuming that I would like. Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried so many wet/dry vacuums and I was so glad to find the CrossWave HydroSteam! It was so easy to assemble that I went from unpacking to cleaning in no time at all. I also loved how light-weight is so I can carry it upstairs and downstairs without much effort. I tried it out for fun as soon as I got it and thought my floors were already pretty clean. They apparently weren't based on how much grime and dog hair the CrossWave picked up! Ewww! I put in the sanitizing wash for good measure and gave the hardwood floors another once over! I don't think I'll ever feel they're clean enough until they're CrossWave clean now. There was hardly any gross water after the sanitizing wash, which gives me confidence in the ability to get it clean the first time. And I threw out my old wet-dry right away because it obviously wasn't doing the job. With three kids and 2 dogs I was able to put the rug cleaner to the test pretty quickly with a dog pee spot and was so glad I could just grab the vacuum, put in the liquid setting for a small job and clean up the mess. So easy and quick for this super busy mom. I also love how easy it is to disassemble and store. The drying rack is a great feature and tucks away nicely in my laundry room. All the parts washed out quick and I felt like I wasn't at risk for having dog hair clogging up the vacuum. I've also had a problem in the past with carpet cleaning machines putting out too much water and making the rug curl so I was nervous to try it on the area rugs, but this didn't happen. It was perfect. The steam setting was great for my bathrooms! I tried that out soon after and could visibly see the steam, but it didn't feel like it was saturating everything. I love that I can just run the vacuum back over the space without the solution release to dry the floors. With small kids having a mostly dried floor is essential. Nobody actually stays off them! I've been grabbing the CrossWave constantly to clean up small messes a
