[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine absolutely rocks! The entire main floor of my home is made up of vinyl plank wood and area rugs and this machine conquered it all! The ease of switching between steam wash mode, rug and hardwood floor settings was one of my favorite features on the Bissell Crosswave Hydrosteam I could go from wood to carpet with the ease of clicking a button. I have three kids, two dogs and a husband so messes are a sure thing in my home, but the Crosswave was up to the challenge, not only was it able to pick up every breakfast crumb under my kitchen island it washed the sticky breakfast mess away all in one go! Gone are the days of vacuuming first and then washing the floors, I can conquer both at the same time using this, saving me time and effort!! At first look I thought the solution/water tank seemed small and wouldn't cover much ground but I was wrong, not only did one tank cover the majority of my main floor it left my floors feeling squeaky clean. The self cleaning mode was a bonus feature I didn't know I needed but now wouldn't buy a machine without it. I love that you can go directly on Bissell's website to repurchase the cleaning solutions and that they are affordably priced and go a long way! It is reliable and most important cleans ceramic tile and laminate floors without streaking or leaving residue. It is important to run clean water through the machine after each use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So today I finally used the Bissell Crosswave Hydrosteam wet/dry vacuum and it was so awesome! It was great for picking up dirt. I used it to steam clean my floor after I finished cleaning with it. It is great for extra dirty floors . I have cats but it had no problems cleaning up kitty hair.

My home has multiple surfaces: vinyl, carpet, and hardwood. In addition I have a 5 year old and 3 pets; things get messy fast around here! The Crosswave allowed me to vacuum and steam clean in one step making my floor cleaning take half the time. One major piece I loved is that we had some caked on dirt and stains on our vinyl from the previous owners. The Crosswave actually started to breakup and clean the spots on the first use! Pros: deep cleaning, multi-surface, easy to set up, and self cleaning Cons, it does sit in a base for self cleaning, if you don't have a dedicated spot for it, then space can be an issue in small homes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh out of the box, the steam did not work, went through the steps provided on the website for trouble shooting. Decided to test the other functions before calling in for support. The vacuum is very weak and it takes multiple dry passes to try and get the water up. Even then I still had to go back with a mop. It just left puddles of dirty water. Terrible experience right out the box. I'm not even going to bother with tech support as to why the steam isn't working. It's already back in its box and being returned ASAP.

I have been wanting to purchase the Bissell Crosswave for quite a long time after seeing many rave reviews so I was so excited to be receiving this product. First, I love all the updates they have made in the CrossWave including the HydroSteam feature as well as the self-cleaning function (which was one of the only complaints I saw people making was concerning the cleanup) The unit was so simple to put together, just attaching the handle and very clear instructions for use and functions. I was thrilled from the first use, it left my floors and rugs smelling so fresh and you could feel the clean as well. As someone who regularly deep cleans my carpets I know what clean feels like and the CrossWave provided the same feeling of clean. My floors were spotless and no streaks or residue. The self-clean function was awesome and so easy with the included tray to set the unit in and place the roller in to dry. The Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam lived up to all of my expectations and more and I have already told all of my friends and family they have to have this! As a pet owner (1 Corgi and 1 cat) and parent this is a MUST have for any busy family. It cuts downs on the cleaning time by doing the vacuum and mop all in one. Very happy customer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the cordless x7 pet pro and it stopped working so this was its replacement. Even though the x7 quit on me I still prefer it and wish BISSELL hadn't discontinued it. Pros: - I think the self cleaning mode on this one is better than the x7. - It doesn't leave near as much water behind. - I REALLY like the steam wash mode. - it gets closer to walls than the x7. Cons: - it's heavier. I'm 9mo pregnant and it's really hard on my back. I can't imagine it being easy for elderly/impaired people to push around. - I miss the turbo mode that my x7 had. - it doesn't stop spinning and tell you when the tank is full like the x7, it just spits dirty water back out. This is the biggest con. - The hair trap isn't secured in the tank so if you're dumping it in the toilet, take it out or it goes in the toilet too. Neutral: -it's corded. I don't mind it. The freedom of being cordless is nice, but so is not relying on a battery. Overall: I still like it. It beats a mop and broom and I'm thankful that BISSELL gave me a replacement because not many companies would, the process was hassle free and fast. I would recommend it to a friend, but if the x7 pet pro was still available I would recommend it first.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start this review by saying I have an almost entirely hard floor home (luxury vinyl planking and tile), a toddler, two cats, and an Australian Shepherd. There's constant chaos, hair, and crumbs. This machine has been an absolute life saver and has completely changed how I clean my home. Prior to using this machine, I was using a run of the mill mop and a vacuum. It took 2+ hours to clean my main area flooring...and having a toddler, trying to find that time to clean the floors is HARD. I love having a clean home and it was truly hard to keep up with all of this craziness until the hydrosteam came into my life. It is a beautiful machine, so easy to put together, and it is a BREEZE to clean with. Fill with water, the solution of choice depending on what kind of clean you need (they all smell amazing), and go. It vacuums, cleans, and steams hard to clean messes when you need it. I've used this on my large area rug, my entire home, and used it to sanitize my laundry room flooring where I keep our litter boxes. I have yet to find a mess that this machine doesn't clean with steam wash mode. The only downside is that the tank has to be emptied a lot and it is a little bit harder to clean up once you're done cleaning, but I have a lot of area to clean and I want to keep my crosswave in A+ condition. I always use the clean mode after cleaning, take it apart, clean all the pieces and leave them out to dry. So for me, a little bit more effort than a regular mop, but the rest of it is so easy that it makes up for it entirely. My floors always smell amazing and I can clean up just about any mess in just a few minutes. Thank you so much to stellar reviews and Bissell for letting me try this out. It has changed my life!

One thing I specifically love, is that it pivots to make small adjustments around objects. Most cleaners we've had are stiff and don't allow that. I love that this is multi surface. I left the tag on for now to get used to what icon means what flooring surface. I would have preferred just putting the name on it. I love that it is self-cleaning and stows away in a small surface area compared to most cleaners. And lastly, I love the steamer function. Just set it on top of some spots and let the steam go to work. Overall, great product for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as Part of the stellar testing panel. The crosswave hydrosteam Is one of the best products I've used for hard floors. It was easy to set up and came with multiple bottles of cleaning solution. The hydrosteam vacuumed, mopped, and removed stains all in one motion. The amount of dirt it removed from the floors that had recently been cleaned was unbelievable. The only downside was cumbersome cleaning if the filters and mop pad after. Due to this I would not use the hydrosteam for daily use rather once a week deep clean. Overall I highly recommend the product.
