[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1st I would like to start by saying I have one of the older models of the crosswave so I'm able to compare the crosswave hydrosteam to that one. All I have to say is wow what a huge difference! I have 4 kids, 2 dogs and have 3 kids under 2 I watch full time. My living room/dining room is a large room open with laminate floors it also is the main entrance of my house so it gets a ton of use. Me and the little ones I watch use this room all day. With the little ones down on the floor I need it clean and I have tried everything this is definitely the best thing I've ever used on my floors! I use it daily now. With the older mold I only used it when it was time to scrub the floor and I still wasn't happy with the results. The new crosswave hydrosteam leaves the floors clean and streak free! It vacuums up so much water when scrubbing the floors dry extremely fast making it more convenient to scrub the floors more often! The olser modle was such a hassle to clean out and clean the brush well and the self cleaning option on the crosswave hydrosteam is a game changer!! I wasn't sure if it would actually clean the brush well but wow it makes the brush like new every time! I couldn't be more happy with this product! Honestly the only issue I have came across is that there is no indicator on how much product to put into the water tank when using the self clean option. There is A-line to indicate where to fill the solution and water for self clean mode but no line on how much self cleaner solution itself. The guide book says how much to put in the tray for the brush but I didn't see that for the water tank.

By providing honest feedback, I hope to help other consumers decide whether to purchase something or not. I'm the type that is always trying to find something that will help shorten the amount of time I spend cleaning. I have a 3000 square foot home, and all the flooring is hard surface, even my stairs. Over the years, I have owned most products from most of the brands available for purchase. I currently own three different steam from well known brands. I also own another brand floor cleaner from last year. After dragging around the mop to clean my house, it became a chore that took forever. I started to dread the day I would mop and clean the floors in each room. I have a large family with five children, two dogs, a cat, a bird, and guinea pigs. I do cleaning and ensure the mess is off the floor many times during the day. After using the regular mop over and over, the floor still had caked-on dirt that I would have to hand scrub. I thought the previous floor cleaner I purchased last year was the solution; it helped cut my cleaning time down. The Bissell cleaner arrived, and I had no expectations before using it. The day prior to using the Bissell, I had cleaned all the rooms with the other floor cleaning machine. Upon using the Bissell and seeing how much dirt it cleaned off the floor, it was a total shock. It's lightweight, swivels, turns easily, and is easy to move from room to room; it also comes with a long cord, which is useful. To start with, it is a vacuum, floor cleaner, and steam mop. I found the vacuum function to be useful, as it saved me time by eliminating the need to vacuum before mopping or cleaning the floor. It does have a difficult time squeezing into tight spaces. After using turn on self-cleaning mode, 2 minutes later it's cleaned out it's self. Best on hard surface flooring, Okay on lg. area rugs.

Cleaning is normally a time consuming endeavor since I have to sweep first and then mop. This product saves quite a bit of time and I am very pleased with the results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two babies, finding sticky spots around the house isn't a surprise to me anymore. A couple of passes with the CrossWave in steam mode is all it took to get the mess cleaned up quickly. I absolutely loved the self clean feature, I think it's my favorite part about the entire device. I wish it had a hand help nozzle attached as well, but it works really well as is for me too.

All while shining my hardwood floors at the same time! Also, the crosswave is easy and fun to use! The one and only con that I have come across is, it doesn't get all of the way to the edge of the floor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Crosswave Hydrosteam All-in-One Multi-Surface Cleaner in mid October 2023. We have laminate flooring and 2 cats so I was eager to have something that would clean our floors and sanitize them. I have used this machine approximately once a month since I bought it and vacuumed with my trusty old Hoover in between times. When I pulled the Bissell out the other day, I had barely started cleaning my kitchen floor when there was a huge puddle of water on the floor! No water left in the cleaning solution tank. The cap on the solution bottle was no longer sealing. I tried to suction up the water with the Bissell but it could not get all up; I wound up using towels to mop it up. My husband and I cut this defective P.O.S. with one of his saws and put it in the trash. I then vacuumed with my trusty old Hoover and then mopped the house with my generic Swifter-type mop. Bottom line - this thing did not even last 6 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissel Crosswave Hydrosteam wet and dry vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I'm a mom of 2 toddlers and 5 cats, living in an all-tile house. Cleaning the floors is a time consuming constant task between sweeping or dry vacuuming first and then wet mopping. Stuck on messes are always around with the little kids. I was absolutely thrilled to receive this product, which incorporates both dry and wet vacuuming all in one piece of technology- saving me time in being able to tackle every kind of mess in one fell swoop. I truly love the Crosswave Hydrosteam as it is quite efficient. I love that it has LED lights to help see the debris and pet hair as you go. I think the only downside is that it is loud just like a regular vacuum, however, it is so convenient to be able to dry vacuum and just push a button as you're going to create steam and tackle a spill of any kind. I found that the reservoir for the cleaning solution is large enough to get through all the main living areas without having to refill, even if you use the steam function the majority of the time. Using the steam function on spills is so easy - just push the steam button as you go over with the brush and it lifts everything in a few swipes. It also does not leave the floor too wet, it dries off pretty quickly, and no streaks left behind. I love how easy it is to clean the dirty water tank - easy to pop it out, rinse it out, and put it back together in no time. The self clean function has to be my favorite part. After steam mopping a lot of stuck on messes, it's fantastic to be able to set it on its base and have it clean the brush immediately so it's ready for the next use right away without having to change it or take it out. The self-clean cycle just needs clean water and it's very quick. The vacuum head is very flexible to help going around corners and maneuvering easily. I'm grateful to have received this vacuum. It is a fantastic multifunctional product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I desperately wanted something that would clean my area rug and this CrossWave delivered with style! Not only had it been years since its last cleaning (with a rented carpet cleaner) it now had rawhide schmutz ground into it from my newest 4 legged friend. The Hydrosteam took a few passes on the heavier sections, but cleaned my rug and removed the rawhide perfectly! I used my CrossWave on hardwood floors and to steam clean linoleum and WOW! I thought my floors were clean before! I wish I had done this years ago! I never wanted to rent another carpet cleaner again- and now I won't have to! I don't have a slop sink for cleaning the dirty tank, etc. after use, so I washed everything in the bathtub. It worked well. My only real issue is that I am sensitive to smell, so the cleaning solution with Febreze in it made me feel a little yucky, but I expect that to be less of an issue once it's warmer outside and I can open the windows. I can't always plan to do all of my cleaning/vacuuming at one go, so having to wait 24 hours for the components to dry feels limiting, but for just about $20, you can get a new dirty tank assembly and accessory holder, so I think I will, and then I won't have to wait so long to use it again! What a bargain! I had a little bit of difficulty determining if/how much Fresh Start solution I should add to the clean tank for the self cleaning function. The manual was unclear, but it seems you are not intended to add solution to the clean water tank, but rather, just to the storage tray. I suppose you could do both, if you really wanted to. The water line on the tank for the self cleaning cycle is very high, but the cycle itself doesn't take much water, so I'm confused as to why it says it needs so much in the clean water tank. I've done it anyway, but it seems one could just fill it to the small area line and it would have enough for a cleaning cycle. I can't recommend this product enough! It is perfect for my needs and I had no idea it existed!
