[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE THIS THING!! Is it a miracle worker on dried jam stuck to the floor? NO. Some things can really only be taken care of with a little elbow grease, lets be real. HOWEVER, it picks up dog hair and dust better than anything, and has a nice little compartment that separates hair and larger debris. It easily cleans dog drool off the floor (I have two Walker hounds), spilled coffee from a few days ago, no problem. Soil from a plant the hounds knocked over, easy peasy. And the best part of all, it EASILY cleans messes on the area rug, again, from the hounds chewing their bones or treats or toys or the beer that they knocked off the table and spilled everywhere. The rug is left ever so slightly damp after using the spray setting, but for how much moisture it puts out the suction is just incredible! I do find because of the amount of hair that I vacuum up, it is easier to empty out the dry vacuum junk and then do a wet cleaning round, this prevents any grime that can block the squeegee part or the filter. And for more tough jobs I use the steam setting (like on dried dog drool), and that one does take a little patience, you need to go slower on those areas. And for those who want something to clean their grout, I mean again, lets be real, that is a job for a PRO or for you to get the bleach out and get to scrubbing, like I said this thing is not a miracle worker. Overall, I would buy this a thousand times over and if it wasnt so expensive I would get one for every one of my friends. Catch me intentionally spilling things so I can bust this baby out to clean it up ;) It's lowkey addicting, so you have been warned. HAPPY CLEANING!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] User of the original Crosswave for over five years before upgrading to the HydroSteam recently. Wow! What an upgrade to an already awesome product! One huge improvement is how this machine gets closer to the wall. It hugs the wall and cleans within a half inch. Love the auto clean cycle. Bissell has an excellent product in the HydroSteam and worth the money to upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just replaced all of our carpeting with wood-looking tile. The CrossWave Hydro Steam cleaned my floors great after the construction. I especially liked the steam feature that made me feel the floors were more sanitized than just mopping. I am looking forward to using this in the future as this was a lot easier to use than a regular mop and saves my back! "Sweepstakes"

I wasn't fond of after use clean up of my old CrossWave. The new unit not only steam cleans my floors; but, it cleans itself. Who could ask for more? Love, love, love this CrossWave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second crosswave not because anything was wrong but because my adult kids borrowed my first and kept it! With a dog, frequent guests and a house that is near a busy street our floors need an occasional deeper clean in addition to regular cleanings and this is just the product for it. While it doesn't compare with hiring a professional company, it does QUITE an amazing job. I love that it is lightweight enough for me to handle and relatively compact. I wish the stand had spots for all of the attachments/rollers but ended up buying a storage box to hold the solutions, extra rollers and extra filters. While the post use cleaning is a nice feature, I additionally toss the rollers into a washer bag and toss them in the washing machine for extra deep cleaning. It's not recommended but hasn't failed me yet! I purchased the cordless one for a small vacation home but in hindsight love the corded one because the cord is long enough that you don't find yourself having to plug and unplug constantly and you aren't ever waiting for a charge. While I am writing this review because I read reviews before purchasing items, I am also entering a #sweepstakes Don't let that dissuade you, this is a worthy purchase!

I have three kids and two dogs and this makes cleaned up messes so much easier!! The self cleaning feature is by far my favorite part! The only thing that I find strange however is even when the product is off the light stays on when it is plugged in. Other than that I love the product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really really wanted to like this machine. I have the original crosswave that spins at 3k and does a fantastic job with minimal gripes. I was shopping for a new one because it had lost its mojo which was somewhat rediscovered with their machine cleaner that cleans the machine itself. The original crosswave never cleaned edges well but it did something nothing else did, it vacuumed and mopped at the same time!! That was huge and still is. I was hoping BISSELL would improve the edge cleaning with this iteration and having the steam was a huge bonus. We all know warm/hot reagents clean better and germs generally do not thrive outside of their preferred temps when you attack them with your cleaning solution of choice. So steam was definitely a great selling point. However, the steam is really not sufficient and to be adequate it would probably have to include a boiler which I'm told is expensive. The combo seems to actually reduce the efficiency when it comes to cleaning up my wife's sugar "coffee" drips she leaves on her way out the door to work. I have to make several passes whereas with the older model I have, it would generally take one or two passes. Don't get me wrong though, no matter the machine, the crosswaves are still better at cleaning than their counterparts and well priced for the most part. However, do not believe the 25-35% better clean marketing. And don't plan on having clean edges. Still need the occasional elbow grease.

Unfortunately, it is a bother to have to thoroughly clean it after each use and to have to wait for it to dry for 24 hours. The roller bogged down a couple of times due to small hard objects being sucked up. Even with those issues, I would buy this product again,
