[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have over 2000 sq ft of hardwood flooring in my home and it's been a challenge keeping it all vacuumed and mopped regularly. I also have 2 dobermans and an aussie that make keeping the floors clean an even bigger challenge since we live in the country and they are constantly tracking mud and debris inside. After my previous floor cleaning machine broke it took me a while of researching what floor cleaners were available and trying to decide which one would be best for my particular needs. I decided to purchase the Bissell Hydrosteam. I've used it twice now since receiving it last week. So far I like the way it cleans the floors and to be honest were quite dirty. It cleaned very well. Some areas I had to go over more than once but again that was due to the floors being dirtier than they normally would be. I was looking forward to also using the hydrosteam on my area rugs as well but for some reason it just wouldn't work on my area rugs. The suction was just strong and then the machine would stop working and the hardfloor and area rug lights would start flashing. At that point I would have to turn the machine off and then turn on again to get it to start working again. I checked that I had the hydrosteam set on the right correct setting but apparently there's an issue with my area rugs. A little disappointing given being able to clean the area rugs was one of the compelling factors as to why I went with the hydrosteam. The vacuum and mopping at the same time definitely makes my floor cleaning easier. The clean cycle is quick and easy after each use. I wish the water tank and waste tank were larger so I wouldn't have to stop so frequently and empty the dirty water tank. However I'm pleased with everything other than not being able to clean my area rugs.

With three cats and a dog, I do a lot of floor cleaning, and I do it very efficiently. Now, with my new Crosswave HydroSteam Plus I can get the floors cleaner AND I can do it with much less effort. I ordered it despite being concerned that it would be too heavy and complicated, and would just add frustration. I was wrong. It is as easy to use as any vacuum, lightweight and easy to manipulate. The learning curve is not "plug and go" but the booklet is thorough and I was doing good work within 15 minutes. And how well it works is very apparent when you see the contents of the easy-to-dump dirty water container and the trap that makes it easy to toss the yuck. It was FULL of hair, gross stuff and a great sense of satisfaction that I was getting a job DONE. No rollers to fight with to remove who knows what. And I love the clean out procedure at the end. Each time I start it up, it is clean and ready to do battle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hands down one of my favorite products I bought in recent years! It makes cleaning the floors easy and less time consuming. The only thing that I can find this product lacking is that there's no small brush or extension to clean tight spaces. So in these instances I still need the mop, but the CrossWave cuts a lot of time and effort in cleaning the larger areas that are accessible by it. So 100% worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Crosswave works ok. It struggles at times to lift stuck on items on the floor. The steam helps, but it works about 60% of the time. It does pick up loose dirt very good. I like the little pan inside the dirty cup to pick up the big items. Works great. I also like the self cleaning mode. Overall it is a good system, maybe make to cleaning brushes a little stiffer to help pull off items stuck on the floor would definitely help

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to this over the crosswave pet pro. The hydrosteam version has a slightly smaller brush path, but it does an amazing job. The steam did an excellent job on the grouted areas of the tile floor. I was amazed how dry the floor was after making 1 "drying" pass with the spray trigger released. The self cleaning mode is awesome, and all the xtra filters and brushes are great so you dont have to wait for things to dry and can stop and clean up the machine and take a break before transitioning to another section of the house. I picked up 2 hardwood brushrolls for the wood floors, and the machine did an outstanding job cleaning and drying the wood floors too. They haven't looked that good since they were new. #sweepstakes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does a fair-good job. Better than it's Hoover counterpart, by far. We have 4 dogs and dog hair is a problem. On harwood floors 4/10, it picks up a small amount before it gets clogged and I have to stop and clear the jam. I have to swiffener the floor, vacuumed the floor, and then used Bissel. It works better, 6/10. Better than nothing. It could be much better on hardwood. Rugs = good 8/10. It could be better on the edge pickup.

My only complaint is the instruction manual should have actual pictures of the items included in the package. It took several tries to speak with someone at Bissell for actual help. Even then I was put on hold for an extended period of time waiting for the assistance. The product lived up to my expectations for cleaning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for spot cleaning carpet, have a cat - cats cough up furballs. It cleans great! I bought it for carpet, but I used on my tile floors and was elated that it worked so well and was so much easier than my mop and bucket. It was easy to assemble and easy to take apart to clean the parts.
