I was at a loss of how to clean it in addition to the use of my normal dry vac. I have been aware of Bissell's products for a long time and decided to try their Crosswave wet vac. It has been performed very well in my first two uses. Handling the filling and emptying of the water and solution are added, but easy activities, compared to just using a dry vac, but it actually performs both the dry and wet vacuuming in the same operation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this device for a couple of weeks now and I use it on tile flooring. I can say I am VERY happy with the performance. For context, I have two small dogs but they don't spend much time outside and don't bring much dirt in. I will say I need to stop to empty and fill the containers about every 10 mins.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because of its versatility, I've just removed my carpets & had oak floors refurbish that have inlays in front room & dining room, this vacuum can be used as both steam cleaner & vacuum. However it is rather heavy, but once you realize that all you need do is swivel the handle right to left it becomes easier to use.

This crosswave takes care of all the muddy paw prints and to my surprise the self cleaning function works perfect. I use the pet clean formula with the steam function and there is no streaking etc. Im truly impressed. It also separates the dog hair in the waste container.

It is easy to use, lightweight & it picks up more cat hair than I even realized was on the floor. It certainly calms my anxiety when I know my floors are clean enough to let our 10 month old Granddaughter crawl all over the floor without the cat hair & whatever else they always put in their mouths! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was floored! It works - cut my cleaning in half. It really does vacuum and mop at the same time. I've used it on my hard wood and tile floors and it works amazing. The floors are not super wet so it dries quickly with no streaking - by the time the room if finished they are 75 - 80% dry. Only negative - it does not get up to the baseboards so there is a 1/2" or so that is not cleaned. To combat - I used a dry dusting cloth and wiped around the edges prior to using the Crosswave and it worked! The machine works so well everywhere else - I'll forgive that issue and still give it a full 5 star review. Highly recommend.

Having two dogs who are not well housebroken and a rabbit that sheds all the time this machine makes cleaning the floors not only easy, but also so rewarding. Have recommended this machine to lots of people I know. You won't regret buying one.
