Unfortunately, it is a bother to have to thoroughly clean it after each use and to have to wait for it to dry for 24 hours. The roller bogged down a couple of times due to small hard objects being sucked up. Even with those issues, I would buy this product again,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I was amazed with how quickly I received my new Bissell cross wave! I ordered it one day, and it was literally on my front doorstep the next day. Incredible service! I chose a machine that is not cordless. I am pretty old-school, so dragging a cord around is not a big deal to me. I would rather have longer-term performance, than have to recharge a battery midway through my cleaning routine. It was very manageable to do this. I am sure there are some people who would prefer the convenience of cordless, but I didn't want to sacrifice having a certain amount of time to clean the floor before the battery died. After reading the instructions, it was no problem at all to figure out how to use the machine. I prefer to start with a clean floor, so I vacuumed with my stick vacuum first to get up a majority of hair and dust. Even after I did that, I was stunned to see how much dirt was pulled out of the crevices of my hardwood floors! I am beyond satisfied with the performance of this machine, and I can't wait to use it weekly as part of my regular cleaning routine. Additional bonus: my house actually smelled clean when I was done using it! Very nice.

With three cats and a dog, I do a lot of floor cleaning, and I do it very efficiently. Now, with my new Crosswave HydroSteam Plus I can get the floors cleaner AND I can do it with much less effort. I ordered it despite being concerned that it would be too heavy and complicated, and would just add frustration. I was wrong. It is as easy to use as any vacuum, lightweight and easy to manipulate. The learning curve is not "plug and go" but the booklet is thorough and I was doing good work within 15 minutes. And how well it works is very apparent when you see the contents of the easy-to-dump dirty water container and the trap that makes it easy to toss the yuck. It was FULL of hair, gross stuff and a great sense of satisfaction that I was getting a job DONE. No rollers to fight with to remove who knows what. And I love the clean out procedure at the end. Each time I start it up, it is clean and ready to do battle.

When I saw the ad for this I knew it was perfect and boy is it perfect! Our dog has diabetes and has the occasional accident and with a crawling baby it is nice to know that the floor is clean! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's good as a light mop on fresh messes, does great on mud or dirt and dust. For the majority of the floor it does good, my floors definitely feel cleaner. I prefer the steam function for sanitation but it doesn't get too warm and doesn't change how well it gets up stubborn spots. I have a dog and a kid and it cleans up most of the mess. Also there is about 1" the vac can't reach on either side and in front of it, so you will have to go back through with a mop or rag and clean up along base boards and around furniture legs. I wish the steam was a little more effective, or the brush worked up more stubborn gunk off the floor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to this over the crosswave pet pro. The hydrosteam version has a slightly smaller brush path, but it does an amazing job. The steam did an excellent job on the grouted areas of the tile floor. I was amazed how dry the floor was after making 1 "drying" pass with the spray trigger released. The self cleaning mode is awesome, and all the xtra filters and brushes are great so you dont have to wait for things to dry and can stop and clean up the machine and take a break before transitioning to another section of the house. I picked up 2 hardwood brushrolls for the wood floors, and the machine did an outstanding job cleaning and drying the wood floors too. They haven't looked that good since they were new. #sweepstakes

I have been mopping for years, but my floors were never as clean as they are now after using the CrossWave. I vaccummed, and mopped, then used the Crosswave and I was pooring out mud from the dirty bin of the Crosswave. I added the hard floor sanitizer and my house smells fresh, no more pet smell. The crosswave is simple to use and I was even more surprised by how well it cleans itself. I tried cleaning the roller by hand initially while I was rinsing the dirty water bin and it didn't come very clean. When I put the machine in the "dock", and did the self clean, it came out perfect automatically. The machine is light weight and has a long cord, so I find it extremely user frendly. I demenstrate it to my friends and family when they come over just for fun. Best floor cleaning machine I've ever owned.
