I love how light it is. Have only used it to clean around ceiling and baseboards. Wish it came with a soft bristle brush for ease in cleaning ceiling fans and such. Do love the power of it!

I love Shark products. I slwyS choose them over other brnds. I gRee with the reviewer. The shark product ALW!AYS have to SHORT of hoses for the products. Owned 3, and this portabke unit is the same. Shark lengthen your hoses...thanks

I am an STR cleaner. I purchased this machine specifically for use at one STR that has a freezer that always has excess dirty, frozen ice in it. It's hard to remove. I end up having to pour in water to melt the ice but then removing the water is a pain. This machine is a game changer. It has also been used for quick clean up of spills and to remover water from a clogged drain. So handy and the power surprised me. The tools actually work well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My household loves our Shark MessMaster Portable Wet/Dry Vacuum. This portable vacuum is incredible, convenient and handy to have. It's lightweight and easy to operate. The included attachments and hose all fit neatly on the vacuum, so I have everything I need right there to clean up pretty much any kind of mess. It's easy to learn how to use it and easy to operate it. I have four young kids, so I have lots of spills and crumbs happening daily, both in my home and in my car. The messes are no match for the MessMaster. It cleans up what other vacuums can't. I love that I can line it with any small plastic bag, to make clean up even easier, without spending extra money. It has no loss of suction, which I was slightly skeptical about at first, but it's true. It's even self-cleaning and rinses itself. All I have to do is vacuum up a cup of warm water then dump it out once it flushes through the vaccum. It has truly exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Bought this within the last year and it's a great all-around vacuum with plenty of suction and very good multi-stage filtration. Yes the hose is a bit short and is now a huge FAIL for me as for no obvious reason the hose ripped near the vacuum connection point. Never been abused, dragged around, etc. and just minimum daily use for a few mins at a time. Was losing suction, then full suction for no reason, then loss once again. The tear is on the backside of the hose and difficult to see, but yep that is definitely a weak point in design. Was gonna email them with a pic, but not seeing any way to do that. Have owned many Shark products over the yrs with total satisfaction and this vacuum itself is spot on, but dealing with hose failure so early on I doubt I'll ever buy another Shark product again.

It's a hassle to haul a large utility vacuum u a flight of stairs just to clean major spills or serious debris, or- for what I wanted to use this for- cleaning out my gas grill. The vacuum is relatively quiet, yet suction is powerful. it did a great job vacuuming the gas grill. The removable basin is easy to clean. Assembly takes time, but everything fits. I wish there was on-the-unit storage for the wands, however. Hauling this unit up and down a flight of stairs is easy. Recommended.

I spilled some cereal and milk, and this tool cleaned it up so fast and easily! I love that it is portable and easy for me to grab whenever I need it. Our previous wet/dry vacuum was so large and cumbersome. We had to keep it in our attic which made getting to it a hassle. It also did not have nearly the suction that this one has. It was definitely time to upgrade to this great tool! This MessMaster takes up so little space I can easily store it in one of our closets for quick access! It comes with great tools that make cleaning up different jobs very easy. I love that it comes with some bags, and I can also use my own bags for the dust cup. I also love that it has a self-cleaning feature. This is a great and makes cleaning it so much easier than cleaning our old one. The instruction booklet and all the literature that came with it is very well illustrated and makes using it foolproof! This just like other Shark products I have used is fantastic! Everyone should have this amazing tool! I plan to purchase one for each of my adult children. It will make a wonderful gift. I very highly recommend this MessMaster. You will not be disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark Portable Mess Master is perfect for quick and easy cleanup anywhere inside or out of the house. It is compact and holds tools and the hose on the unit. You can either use the canister or place a bag into the canister for easy cleaning. I've been enjoying using this on my car to get it nice and clean. It's not overly noisy and has great suction. It's just another fantastic product made by Shark and I'm in love! Definitely worth getting for your vehicle or all of life's messes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum fills a void that has existed for quite some time and it's probably something that most people don't realize they're missing out on until they have it...that was the case for me. This isn't what I would describe as the typical heavy-duty industrial wet/dry shop vacuum that we all know and love. It's what I would deem a smaller, more compact, more indoor-friendly version. You don't really realize how many wet spills you encounter indoors until you have something like this that is ready to tackle them and clean them up with ease. My initial impression of quality was quite good with this vacuum. It has a decent weight to it, but it's definitely portable and easy to move from one mess to another. I haven't experienced any loss of suction as of yet and I've used it quite a bit. One of the best features of this particular vacuum is the ability to clean it quickly and easily. A recurring complaint that I have with most modern cleaning devices is that you have to continue purchasing specific products in order to use them...whether it's specialty bags or filters or pads. This vacuum doesn't require any of that additional and ongoing expense. You can use any plastic bag to line the bin and then just toss the bag when you're done. And did I mention how easy it is to clean? You literally just vacuum a cup or a pitcher of water, let it do its thing, and then pour out the water. I'm definitely very pleased with this vacuum and I hope that I can continue using it with satisfied results well into the future. I always question longevity with products such as this one, but I'm optimistic that Shark will make me a believer in their long-term quality. Get one of these and you'll be hard-pressed to go without one again.
