Bought this within the last year and it's a great all-around vacuum with plenty of suction and very good multi-stage filtration. Yes the hose is a bit short and is now a huge FAIL for me as for no obvious reason the hose ripped near the vacuum connection point. Never been abused, dragged around, etc. and just minimum daily use for a few mins at a time. Was losing suction, then full suction for no reason, then loss once again. The tear is on the backside of the hose and difficult to see, but yep that is definitely a weak point in design. Was gonna email them with a pic, but not seeing any way to do that. Have owned many Shark products over the yrs with total satisfaction and this vacuum itself is spot on, but dealing with hose failure so early on I doubt I'll ever buy another Shark product again.

They missed the mark on this one. Poor design with short hose and the floating ball constantly trips shutting off suction. Dustbin is empty, vacuum brand new.

I just hope people don't assume that ALL THE TOOLS SEEN ON PRODUCT ARE NOT INCLUDED!! very wack marketing. It only comes with squeegee and corner tool. If it's supposed to be wet AND DRY why wouldn't the dry carpet tool be included. Waste of time.

Its shape makes it easy to store, even in smaller spots. The size does not affect power. I'm the suction power is as great as any larger vacuum. Great for a car cleaning job, and was absolutely perfect for our camper. Stored easily in the closet. It has attachments for every type of job, wet or dry.

Love that you can use bags and both wet and dry. Self cleaning feature is a bonus. Perfect for cleaning cars. Comes with a few attachments that are easy to change out and store. Only would have like a storing location for the 3 piece extender arm. Otherwise fantastic!

The hose is little narrow so don't expect to clean up any big chunks. The water reservoir is a good size. Suction is good and it's fairly quiet for this kind of vacuum.

The unit is fairly light and easy to carry while vacuuming which makes vacuuming my stairs a lot easier than with the full sized vacuum. The hose isn't terribly long, which is sometimes inconvenient, but makes it a lot easier to use in tight spaces and if you are carrying the vacuum it works out great. When you are done, the hose wraps around the unit and attaches to a little clip that keeps it coiled. The power cord coils up around the handle. There is a larger clip that holds your attachments. I tried using them to hold the two solid hose extensions, but they just kind of get in the way so I either set them aside or on top of the unit when it's stored. The top pops open and the dust bucket is removable to allow easy disposal of whatever you have vacuumed up. You can use small bags with it, but I've just been using it without a bag. The tools and the flexible hose all have a hard rubber edge so they don't scratch anything and it kind of helps you see what you are doing, too. They are labelled for their best usage and with simple instructions. The unit comes with an edge tool, a wet mess tool, and a carpet/uphostry tool. The motor is great and the suction has been very effective, which really makes cleaning a lot easier. It's the perfect size for cleaning your car, but it has been convenient for a variety of messes around the house. The filters are easy to replace and clean, not that I've felt the need to clean them, yet. If you need a convenient little vacuum that can handle almost any mess, this is a great choice. I'm very glad to have added this to my home.
