I like the interior finish. It's metallic instead of the cheap white plastic that always cracks and breaks. The exterior black is very nice too. No fancy defrost function that you don't need and dries out the food. It's just a basic nonsense freezer.

So far so good. Only have had for 2 weeks but seems to b doing the job. Very easy to get started . Took out of the box and plugged it in overnight before I added and food— it was cold cold the next morning. Put my food in and within 6 hours the food was frozen . I wanted an upright but couldn’t find one at reasonable price - this chest model is very easy to get to all your items - it easy to reach the bottom of the chest without any effort other than to bend over.

This has been a great purchase. I purchased in the winter, so I am hoping that the freezer is "garage ready" as it states, for when the Utah summer begins. It doesnt have a real strong seal, but I will wait and see how it holds through the high heat. Perfect size.

Does exactly what we needed it to do. Fits in corner of the garage. Doesn't take up much space. Super quiet and stands up to Florida heat. Excellent freezer for storing breast milk in large quantities. Picked up in-club so can't speak to delivery/shipping but the unit is packed very well with lots of foam and is snug in the box. If you have to tip the unit for whatever reason, make sure you wait the full 24 hours before plugging in. The only "downside" is that it's not a fully open rectangle on the inside. It has a small step up where all the components are housed. Not a deal breaker. Just need to be creative when packing. Haven't had to defrost yet, but it's a manual process... Aka scrape by hand.

I needed to replace a 60-year-old chest freezer that my family had while I was growing up and is just too big for my needs now. This freezer seemed perfect for my needs, as I was waiting on about 200 pounds of beef. After reading other reviews, it appeared that the only complaint people really had was damage during delivery (which is often the case when shipping with FedEx), I decided to pick this up at my local Sam’s Club. It fit perfectly in my small SUV. But since I had to lay it in its back for about 20 minutes, I waited a couple of days to plug it in. It’s perfect. Just the right size, I even had room for the food items that I still had in the old freezer and my dog food order for the month. Looks great. Works extremely well. It says “garage ready”, so we will see how it fairs on my enclosed porch this winter. I definitely recommend.

Have only had it for a little while. It was ready to use in only 2 hours on a midrange setting. I don't need "deep freeze", so I'll bet it's great for that too.

Nice compact freezer. arrived with many dents. 2 major dents on lid. may have been why the freezer was running constantly. No way to adjust lid for a good seal. I returned it.

Only had it a few weeks but so far it is working fine.I just wish they would produce these products in the USA..American name like Fridgidaire and made in China..

Don’t waste your time ordering this freezer!! The packaging is very poor. The first one arrived in a damaged box and the freezer inside was very badly damaged. The replacement freezer was also damaged when received.

Great deep freezer from a great brand. Stays very cold even when it’s hot outside as it is garage ready. It is also very spacious even though it’s only 7 cu ft. 100% would buy again.
