Good price

The meat looked good in the pack, but once cooked they had a high odor (like ammonia). The entire family had to throw theirs away. This was my first time purchasing my meat from Sams and will definitely be my last. Can not recommend buying meat from Sams.

Staple in my freezer

Meat tastes fine most of time, but for almost the last 2 years (early 2021 at least) there have been small slivers of bone all over them. At first I thought it was bc the blade used to cut them was dull, but soon realized it is the quality of the meat/health of the animal. So beware, and rinse them thoroughly. It won't get rid of all of them, but it helps. At least until you get closer to the bone in each chop.

Just purchased a pack of 9 "center cut chops". Opened the pack when we got home to find only 3 were nice center cuts and the other 6 were fatty disgusting chops without the center. This is the last time I will buy these at Sam's. This is such a rip off. We should get what we pay for and what they advertise.

So tonight for dinner I cut half of a leftover porkchop, put it into this paper bowl, and winged it into the microwave. I set it for 1 minute on high (because I just love dry leftover porkchops). I turned away for a moment, then when I looked back the bowl was completely on fire! I opened the door and pulled out the flaming porkchop bowl. It didn't magically extinguish itself like I thought. I considered taking a video for a moment and I'm not proud of that. Logic dictates sticking it under the faucet, but what would that so to my porkchop? So, I kind of pulled it out of the flaming bowl at my own pain and peril because you know, porkchop, then put it under the faucet. I couldn't figure out why that happened until I flipped it over and saw the Activia (containing bifidus regularis. That name just makes me giggle) lid stuck to the bottom of the bowl. That must have set it on fire. But on the upside, that porkchop wasn't dry at all. It was tender, juicy and the perfect temperature. So, maybe this is my million dollar idea. Open a restaurant called The Flaming Porkchop Bowl-perfect porkchops everytime! All I need is a big batch of leftover porkchops (which brings up the question- if you make them specifically to be used later, are they really "leftover "? Great, that'll keep me up all night) , a bunch of Sam's Club bowls, and a butt load of Activia lids.
