I had this unit installed in 2024 & have had nothing but problems with it. Finally after I complained enough Generac sent out another company to ‘fix' the unit during the summer. It ran kind of ok, then today 9/11/26 it stopped & another over speed error showed on the app. This has been a long standing problem with this piece of junk & Generac apparently will not replace this lemon unit! Maybe they'll do something when I get an attorney involved! I know some love their Generac & it appears I have the LEMON. SO GENERAC HOW ABOUT REPLACING THIS PIECE OF JUNK!

EVERYTHING IS GREAT ON THIS GENERATOR, AND IT HAS WORKED FLAWLESSLY IN BLACKOUTS ETC. HOWEVER THE MENU IS SOMWHAT CONFUSING, AND THE WIFI/GENERAC/ECOBEE APP IS GARBAGE. AFTER SPENDING 3K ON A DEDICATED WIFI TO THE GENERATOR, THE WIFI INSTALLER, AND ELECTRICIAN WITH PHONE SUPPORT FROM GENERAC, TOOK 2 HOURS TO GET THE APP WORKING. NEXT DAY, APP WAS NOT WORKING , HAD THOSE GUYS COME UP AGAIN, SAME THING HAPPENED, DID IT AGAIN WITH ELECTRICIAN AND ME ONLY STILL SAME RESULT, TEMPORARY SUCCESS THEN NO APP AFTER ONE DAY. VERY BOGUS APP. DONT BUY IT FOR THE APP, APPARENTLY THE WIFI IS PREVIOUS GENERATION AND THE LATEST EQUIPMENT(WIFI) WONT WORK WITH THE GENERATORS SET UP. SO I HAD INSTALLED A SLOWER (?) WIFI TRANSMITTER TO THE GENERATOR SET TO DUMB IT DOWN A BIT. AS PER THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE GENERAC TECHNICAL ADVISOR THAT WE CALLED 4 OR 5 TIMES VERY FRUSTRATING.

We purchased the generator because we do a lot of traveling and it is a piece of mind to have this generator ready to kick on if the electricity goes out. We have sump pumps in the basement that are almost constantly running, and if that were to stop our basement would be flooded within an hour or so additionally, we have a deep freeze with a lot of meat in it and if we had a power outages for several days and we're out of town. All of that meat would spoil.

I previously had a portable emergency generator that helped me through a few hurricanes. I retired a few months ago & built a house on my rural property 100 miles away. Two years ago that area suffered a couple of bad storms & the community was without electrical power for weeks. I now have my own well & electrical system. Storms as we have in Southeast Georgia will not affect me as much in the future.

Very happy with our Generac generator. Provides peace of mind and for those days where the public utility leaves us short. Looks good and easy to use the app for status and system updates. I would highly recommend using a Generac authorized location for you generator

I live in an area that has frequent power outages because of high winds and fire dangers. Having a Generac for backup power is a comfort. It was installed quickly and professionally. I am sleeping better knowing it's ready to spring into action if necessary.

Generator works awesome. Having to purchase an additional $30 wiring harness to connect to my Solar Controller for remote operation and trying to constantly sell me an additional subscription to get at features on the app after Ive just spent thousands on the generator makes me furious. Great Generator, too bad the marketing /sales team ruined it. As an added irritation, they bombard you with constant emails, trying to sell you on a maintenance plan. Very irritating.

I purchased this 24K and I'm happy I did, Living in the Nor-Cal high fire area we have power outages all year long and we used to rely on portable batteries we received from PG&E but they would only get us by for a day or two, now with a full propane tank were good for a week or more powering everything!

We purchased this generator in June and, despite repeated efforts, it remains unusable at the end of August. The contractor has ordered replacement parts on two separate occasions for a brand-new unit that has never been operational. The entire experience has been plagued by delays, confusion, and quality issues. Frankly, this has been one of the worst purchasing experiences we've had in years, and we are extremely disappointed that the equipment still does not work.

I bought my generator when I bought my new home. I owned a Generac generator at my prior home and I loved it, so there was no question about buying one for my new home. It has already paid for itself in usage for power outages. I work at home, so this is an invaluable tool to help keep my business running.
