Having a Generac Generator is total peace of mind. Within 4 weeks of moving into our new home someone caused an outage in the area. Within 3 seconds of the power going out my Generac Generator came on and restored all electricity to home. When the electricity was restored the generator shut itself off. I no longer worry about the power going out in the winter.

Since installation in early March, the unit has fired up 5 time for various power outages. Most recently just two days ago when a neighbor's moving truck took out two utility poles for eight hours. The unit worked flawlessly during the outage much to the envy of my neighbors.

Decision to purchase was made to accommodate (mostly) the electric wheel chair that my husband now requires. Our electric has since been off twice since the purchase for several hours each time, but the generator immediately took over and we hardly noticed. I don't know why we didn't make this purchase years ago.

This has been an excellent product. It has been exactly what we desired. The installation team was professional and knowledgeable. We did have a minor issue with the generator that was resolved quickly and have had no issues since. I would recommend the connection package as it allows for remote information and updates.

We have had this generator for 5 months and it was installed when we built the house. We had some storms come through this weekend in Mississippi and were able to use it for the first time. We were out of power for around 1 hour while we used it. It cycles once a month per my settings and when power goes out you will have power from generator within 10 seconds. When power from utilities comes back on there is no loss of power at that time. Only when you loose power, the reason is generator must warm um before it takes a load. Awesome product and for the price and performance of this unit it's a winner for all.

We purchased the Generac 22 kw Guardian system in October of 2015. I installed it over the next several months as I had the time. A few months later we had a power outage for about 5 hours. When the power went off the Generac powered up in about 15 seconds. Wonderful! I am writing this review 2 hours after our power has been restored this morning January 25, 2017 at 8:45 am. We had a very bad ice storm on January 14, 2017 and thousands of people have been without power. Many still have no electricity as I write this. We gave this generator a very good 10 days and 9 hour workout. My wife and I highly recommend this generator.

Service beyond the sale was great though I was given some confusing information from the the company recommended technician who serviced the product post installation. The 22kw generator was set up with parts supplied with the generator and was set up by an electrician as part of my new home build. Long story, short, there was a flex gas line supplied by the company to be used to connect the generator to the hard pipe gas line from my propane tank. The tech told me in no uncertain terms that the flex pipe was inappropriate to connect the main gas line to the supply line as the vibration caused by the generator could cause the flex line to fail and should have been hard piped directly to the generator. The propane supplier disputed that theory and told me that vibration caused by a hard piped connection would be more likely to crack and lead to either a fire and or explosion than a connection made with the flex pipe that was supplied with the generator. Otherwise, so far I'm satisfied with the product and follow up service that was provided.

Installed 22kw unit in October 2016. We are away for several weeks during the winter and we were always fearful that a power outage would result in catastrophic damage to our home and business due to frozen pipes. We also have a sewer pump/grinder unit that only has a capacity of 100 gallons. If we lost power, we couldn't use water without fear of sewage backing up into our house.. My electrician recommended Generac over the other leading brand and reviews backed up his opinion. So we had it installed. It took about a week due to the additional installation of two propane tanks. To date it has given us peace of mind when we are away. The mobile link has worked great allowing us to check the status of the generator when we are out of state. We haven't had any power outages as of yet, but I'm sure one will happen sooner before later.

Prior to this generator I had a carrier 42KW. You would think a larger generator would be a lot louder but you would be wrong. This generator so far has service the Basic needs at 22kW. I built my new home directly across the street from my old residence. When power went out the generator was so loud it woke me up. I went outside to see if I could hear the old generator running. I literally had to walk across the street up to about 20 feet from the home before I could hear the old generator running over the new one. I guess when your power goes out you don't mind the noise. It would be a huge improvement if they could insulate their generator better to reduce noise.

This is our 2nd Generac . We have one for our cabana and now a new one for the house. Oklahoma winters can be very harsh with lots of icing occurring on power lines. For convenience, we added the second Generac for the house. This is a great reliable product.
