We recently had a wind storm and lost electricity for five hours. Five seconds after the power went off our generator fired up and we continued our activities. Our special needs daughter continued watching her cartoons as we prepared dinner. Best investment I've ever made.

This is my second Generac stand-by generator and the newer model is even better than before. Easy installation, well-written instructions, new connection terminal at the generator makes installation and service much more user-friendly. 10 seconds from utility power loss to complete restoration of generator power for the entire house.

Our home is approximately 7,000 sq.ft. with a fully equipped office. This installation was installed quickly and expertly, Compared with other systems/manufacturers, this installation is accommodating the entire home and office at 2/3rds or less the rated output and half the cost. very efdfective.

Great unit 22kv. Had a factory control problem. Contractor fixed "No Charger" and I was up and running. Had two outages that were over 35 mins. long and its a shock to be the only one around with lights and air conditioning. Got a three year service contract and still under review on that. It is quite compared to some I have heard. It charges the 12volt battery and system checks: starting, load, and shutdown each month.

The dealer / installer, Fernando from Poteet, TX. did a Great job! He knows his stuff. We had the Generac whole house generator installed on 12-01-2016. We live in an area that has many power outages. Last Sunday, 01-22-2017, we had extremely heavy winds in our area causing a power outage for approx 2 hours. Of course, because of Generac, we had uninterrupted whole house power during the outage. Now our neighbor wants a Generac . We are happy with our Generac investment.

This is our third GENERAC generator purchase in a third home place. The first two were installed at two family homes after Hurricaine Katrina. We experienced that first hand, late summer in Central Mississippi. We had a handicapped family member that suffered seizure but worse with heat. Since that time we have had no disruptions to power. Keep them serviced and they have provided years of service.

Living where power goes out often, it is much easier going to sleep or leaving home knowing this machine has my back. It does it's routine check once a week letting you know it's fine and has a green light that lets off a soft glow I check for out my window before turning in. A great investment.

We installed a 22 KW machine as a backup for our entire house. Our home is served via an 8000V electric primary cable which is direct buried from the source to transformer. We are radial fed, which means there is no backup cable that can be used to provide power should the UG cable fail. This generator will put power back to our entire home while the Power Company repairs the cable. We live at the top of a bluff in NE Iowa, and should the cable fault, it would be hard to repair the cable in a short time. Haven't had an extended outage yet, but, there will be one and when it hits, that generator is there to perform. Love It!

We had the 22kW Generac installed the Autumn of 2016. Our 1st power outage of the season occurred a couple of weeks ago. The outage started at 10:30pm, just as everyone was prepping for bedtime. 10 seconds after the outage begun we had FULL power. No problems, the generator shut down automatically after residential power was restored, and our electric service was automatically cut over to AC. WOW !! No more lugging out the portable generator!. We also installed the battery heater and oil filter heater - cold climates.

We had days of power outage after Hermine. Had to throw out a lot of food and endure the heat. We also were without water, as we are on a well. It was a miserable time. I decided then to get a generator. I checked around and this one was what everyone recommended. Since installation, we lost power for a couple of hours. It fired up immediately and we felt secure. Glad we got it.
