Decision to purchase was made to accommodate (mostly) the electric wheel chair that my husband now requires. Our electric has since been off twice since the purchase for several hours each time, but the generator immediately took over and we hardly noticed. I don't know why we didn't make this purchase years ago.

In our new home, we are totally dependent on electricity. our Generac 22kw gives us a peace of mind in the event of outage to power the whole house. And with the transfer switch, no need to do any manual thing. More, it's quiet. I would definitively recommend this. Thank you!

I'm no expert on generators. But my electrician is. I bought this generator on his recommendation. It could not have been an easier purchase & delivered right to my door. It was hooked up easily (by him) and looks ready to go in the yard. It is smaller that we thought for a 22w and we are very pleased with the purchase. I can't speak to the use as yet, but we are ready when the time comes.

Having a Generac Generator is total peace of mind. Within 4 weeks of moving into our new home someone caused an outage in the area. Within 3 seconds of the power going out my Generac Generator came on and restored all electricity to home. When the electricity was restored the generator shut itself off. I no longer worry about the power going out in the winter.

Great product. Once a week it tests itself and let's me know that it is ready to run when I need it. I have full sense of security knowing that when I am away that my food will be kept cold and my basement kept dry. When I am home I have light and my water pump works. This is a piece of equipment that I renamed to anyone who needs electricity 24-7.

Thoroughly pleased with my standby generator. My mind is always at ease knowing that losing power in my house will be prevented by my Generac standby generator. We lost power about a month ago for an hour and within a few seconds my generator started and I had full electrical power throughout my house. What a great feeling!

We got our generator installed just a few weeks before Hurricane Hermine hit last summer. We have had several power outages since, and the Generac unit has responded perfectly every time. It is quite reassuring to face storms with the knowledge that you are not going to lose power. (And I think even our neighbors are appreciating it as well!)

We purchased the Generac system for our home about 6 months ago anticipating an active hurricane season in Hawaii. We all have power outages on occasion and in reality they never last long. However this year there was the exception and during a blizzard we had an outage that lasted over 18 hours. To top it off I was 1600 miles away and my wife was home alone. I was really surprised at how affordable a standby generator really is to have installed. Inexpensive peace of mind.

I have had my generator for 1 year. Love it. Great investment. Peace of mind just knowing that it's there. I have used it a few times, generator comes on seconds after a power outage. My home functions don't skip a beat during a storm. Definitely recommend.
