Woodlands Power Generation installed my generator 5days before Hurricane Beryl hit the Texas coast as I'm in Houston area. The generator performed flawlessly and ensured my 85 yr old father a comfortable environment inside while the world outside was under heavy storms! Horrible product can't be trusted. Waiting for a 3rd generator install since Aug 3rd 2026. Both have failed mechanically and deemed not repairable by the techs. There is zero sense of urgency from Generac to install a 3rd unit as I am coming up to making my 2nd payment on a dead generator that is nothing but a $13,000 lawn ornament.

I purchased a 22K Generac Home Standby generator in 6/26 and the unit has not worked properly from the beginning. It throws out warning codes each time it runs and attempts to fix it by Craig's Electric have not been successful. I would simply like the generator to run the way it is supposed to run.

Installed nearly a month ago. It kicked in once and tests itself on schedule. Very happy to have this in case of a power outage lasting more than a few hours - we had one a month ago due to storms, and it lasted two days for us and 10 days for several NIPSCO customers. It's great to monitor the Generac remotely using the App and know whether it is testing itself or providing backup power during an outage. It is a bit noisy when it runs. Let's see how it performs over the years.

I've owned this unit for almost a year. It's the new version and I have had numerous problems with it. Parts were changed and the unit is now operating properly. Service people were great. I feel like I'm part of the beta testing team. But I do like the generator design and now that the problems have been resolved (hopefully), I'm looking forward to a reliable future.

I bought this generator a year ago, a d if worked great until, unbeknownst to me , my solar contractors fried the control panel. When I had my contractor come out to fix it wasn't functioning. Not your fault. I "m fighting with them to psy for the repair. I just wish the app had given me some kind of notification that it wasn't working by email or phone. Again not your fault it wasn't working.

It has been working as planned for 2 years. We only had one issue with the transfer switch early on and the contractor fixed the issue the next day. We have had multiple power outages many lasting 4-6 hours. We are very pleased with our Generac. We are grateful we were able to afford it. Most of our neighbors cannot.

Clean install and break-in period of 18 kW optional-standby generator. and buried propane tank I'm counting on Generac and Generator Supercenter to continue their excellent performance. I was looking for an all-in-one, comprehensive no-finger-pointing-between-trades solution that to-date Generac and Generator Supercenter have delivered excellently.

I bought my unit a month ago but there was NO INSTRUCTION on how to use it. The unit works well but the installer, Tri-State Power & Air was terrible. I was left with 2 huge holes in my interior wall & 3 holes in my outside brick wall. Now as far as the unit, it isn't big enough to handle my Brides electric car. The minute I plug it in the unit stops.

You make a significant investment for a whole home system that is paid to have monitored and serviced but the service and maintenance communication is nonexistent. Even after reporting problems directly to Generac the problem continues. If we go through the painful process of moving to another service provider what then? Hope for the best? What about the money wasted on the monitoring service? Seems like Generac only cares about the sale and nothing more.
