Good price for a great product

I previously had a portable emergency generator that helped me through a few hurricanes. I retired a few months ago & built a house on my rural property 100 miles away. Two years ago that area suffered a couple of bad storms & the community was without electrical power for weeks. I now have my own well & electrical system. Storms as we have in Southeast Georgia will not affect me as much in the future.

We bought this unit almost a year ago. It has worked perfectly during the few outages we have had. My sister -in-klaw bought one after us and she has had power whenever the weather has knocked out power in her area.

I purchased my 22KW Generac generator in September 2016. So far we have not had any power outages, but can tell you that we’re very happy to know when that does happen, that my family will not be cold, will have hot water, lights, all the things we take for granted. Signed, Mitch

02/05/17 Generac, 22 KW Home Standby Generator Unit, Exceeds Expectation… We purchased the Generac 22 KW model 6551, p/n 45335 from the Northern Tool Company, a Generac Dealer, in August 2016 with free shipping. I made the purchased decision based on my previous experience with a 7.5 KW Generac generator, coupled with the following features… full home stand by unit, aluminum housing, smart switch, cold weather starting kit, flexible fuel line, easy switching from NG to LP fuel, True Power technology, OHVI engine and Quiet-Test..i.e….self starting programmable test and extended warranty. Local dealers assisted me with the installation with no significant problems experienced during the installation along with an instance start up. Great job. On January 25, 2017, 4 months later, our electric went off and was off for 5 hours due to a downed power line caused by a fallen tree. The generator ‘kicked in” automatically, what a relief. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase and having the peace of mind, especially living in the country. From a satisfied customer in Batesville, Indiana.

The generator is placed behind our garage, completely masked by our yard's fence in the back yard. Can't wait to get the Mobile Link installed once it is off of backorder. I look forward to the first message being sent from the Generac to us, so we know it is functioning properly! No more power outage impacts for us!!!!!!

I purchased my Generac and the installer that represented Generac was wonderful explained everything and was done in a timely fashion. The Generator was up and running and with in a few days I lost electric for 12 hours and the generator kicked in and we where lite up like a Christmas tree at night when our neighbors where in the dark. ( felt bad) since then we have lost power two more times (this is so un usual for us) since then. I have been telling everyone that will listen to me they have to get one. It has more than paid for it self since my husband is handicapped and must have electric. Thank you for a great product. Gerry

We use this as backup power running on propane. Works fine. My wife was not going to go crank something. It comes on about 10 seconds after a power failure. We have a 22KW unit and it powers everything including a 4 ton HVAC. I love it. Be careful about placement as this is an engine and makes some noise. We have it on the side of the garage away from the house and we can barely hear it. A neighbor installed his (natural gas) and has had problems. Don't have a clue as to why. I just know that mine works flawlessly.

We live in a forest. Ice storms and heavy snow can take out electric for days at a time. With our generator the unbelievable inconvenience is a thing of the past. We spend the winter in Florida so use the cell phone system to notify us whenever it starts or more importantly whenever it doesn't. So far it has started every time but it is good to know that I will know if it doesn't start up.

I live in an area where our power goes out at least once a month. To know that we do not have to worry about that anymore is awesome. The installer we had that was qualified to install by Generac was very knowledgeable and informative. He let us know what he was doing throughout the entire insolation process. After the install he went over everything very thurally and insured us that if we need anything to call him! Great job Generac!
