I live in a rural area that has suffered multiple power outages during the 11 years that I have lived here lasting from a few minutes to almost 4 days in length. The Generac whole house generator gives me peace of mind knowing that I will not lose power for multiple days again, that my frozen food will not go bad, and that I will be able to continue to live independently. It was installed yesterday. The gentlemen from Raddant Electric Service in Shawano, WI who did the installation were attentive, provided excellent information, and kept me apprised of their progress. Well done!

My wife and I consider this a luxury , we waited 47 years to get this ,as there were always other priorities. Here in our little town of Saline , we loose power all too often. Amazing less than 24 hours after completing the hook up the power went out. Oh, but not here , wow I almost slept through it . Than we were so excited it was hard to get back to sleep..... We live in rural area, known for electric utility random outages, so we decided to get ready for the next outage. Our 24KW generator with automatic transfer switch powers up our whole house; HVAC, water heater, range, oven, dryer, well pump, security system, lights, TVs, etc. We invited proposals from a couple contractors. We talked with a few of Balanced Electric's other customers and they gave us a thumbs up recommendation. Our project was done in about 8 weeks, and we're now ready for winter weather. Just had this unit installed. We are excited to have the peace of mind it brings, knowing that when there is a power outage we will have back up power. Installation was a breeze due to Dawg Electrical. Rocky was so easy to work with. Quick and easy on our part....Also love the features on this unit.

Hard to write a review on something just installed, but I can say my installation crew was of the highest caliber in terms of customer service and knowledge of product and various electrical scenarios. We went with the Guardian 22Kw for a home with essentially two small separate living quarters - (ie dual electric boxes) and a solar set up. I feel very confident that the Generac will serve us successfully when the power goes down. It started right up and switched over seemlessly. It is not bad to look at either when one considers the alternative of another random TX electrical outage!

PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST IDEAS / PRODUCTS IN THE LAST TWENTY-[20] YEARS. RELAIBLE, EXCELLENT FEATURES AND TECHNOLOGY AND BEST OF ALL PEACE OF MIND FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY DURING SIMPLE POWER FAILURES AND/OR ADSVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS.... GO GENERAC!!!

We were away last winter and had someone check our house every several days. We head a power outage and the electric company forgot to restore our power so we were lucky that the weather was above normat (not freezing). If this had happened a month later we would have had considerable damage. My only negative for Generac is that the propane monitoring system only works in the USA so it is an option we cannot use.

This is a great Generator for those considering a Whole House Solution. But, I was disappointed with the Mobile Link Accessory - the Local Installer could not find where to plug it into the Controller and Generac has not responded to request for Assistance - I have useless accessory at this point.

Better than expected. I especially like the WIFI and the fact that the firmware is down loaded automatically. It would be nice to have some additionally functions such as the output load in Amps or KW. I hope to see some additional options in the future.

After years of hurricanes and the thought of losing power for sometimes days I finely have no worries.If your tired of trying to find fuel before and after a storm so you can have just the basics in life with a portable generator that most times wont start when you need it, this is a must..Its cost will pay for itself over the years I will not have to suffer in the heat after a fla hurricane..Im very happy I chose to get this installed and the peace of mind it will bring will be well worth it..
