I knew about the Generac reputation and was recommended to AQM for purchase and installation. The installers certainly practiced the past rule of customer first which today seems to be the exception. I would not hesitate to recommend Generac and AQM for the above reasons.

I live way out in the sticks so when the power goes out, we are the last ones to get the power restored. I have the 22KW whole home system. This is the best investment I’ve ever made, by far! Our power goes out a few times a year and sometimes it’s out for 7 or more days. About 2 weeks ago, we were hit with high winds and thousands if people were without power, but NOT US! The outage lasted for 6 days and we never knew it was off in the first place. When the power goes out, it takes the generator 20 seconds to start up and it never shuts off until the power is restored. In those 6 days, it used 105 gallons of natural gas, but it was worth every single penny. If you’re thinking about buying one, just do it. I promise, you won’t regret it!!

The system was just configured and powered up today. For it's size, it's extremely quiet. When the tech first started it, I could just barely hear it in the house. Just a low hum. Also, when he tested the auto switch, nothing in my house "noticed" the change between normal power and the generator. It also obviously has plenty of power to run everything in my house. This is a 2267 sq.ft. four bedroom 3 bath house. We turned the AC way down to get it to kick in and the generator didn't miss a beat. Thank you.

The startup worked perfectly. I feel that the reliability of the brand is sufficient for me to have peace of mind knowing that my 93 yr old mom will not have to be uprooted with a power loss. The WiFi capability will keep me informed unlike my AC unit just sits there.

Appearance of unit is attractive and blends into the local enviroment of the neighborhood, running noise of the unit is minimal . Have lost power four times in the last twelve months due to trees falling on utility lines and taking power out. Decided to purchase a whole house backup generator and after researching products, chose the Generac 22kw. It has a quick response as soon as power loss is detected, can supply power to run heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer, City inspector said the installation was first class and was impressed with running of power cable from electrical box to the generator’s location on the opposite side of the house near the gas meter. Natural gas connection was anchored with multiple safety cut offs of the gas for safety, if needed.. WiFi monitoring allows instant update on status of the generator. The generator is the lifeline to the house and annual maintenance provides peace of mind and assurance the generator is ready to go when needed. Great investment for our home and our lifestyle.

My 18kw whole house generator with transfer switch was installed by United Electric,Wisconsin Dells Wisconsin. The crew showed up on-time on June 26th as promised. They went right to work. They were completed by 3pm. They had duga 9 foot trench to bury the wire to the box. It was all filled in like it was never there. Clean job. No fingerprints or dirt anywhere. They fully explained the operation. Started and ran unit. The only problem I and United have is the manufacturer balking at providing the 10 year warranty ( so United says)as promised. I would recommend United Whole heartedly.

I'm an engineer for the DoD and we have been using Generac products for years on our builds so I know first hand the quality and dependability. We've only had our home unit for a few months now but it's nice to have that peace of mind should a hurricane or storm come our way. Definitely worth the investment.

As my wife and I age we have been doing what we can to make our home easier to live in as we get ready for retirement. Our county in Maine is experiencing some strong winds from an unusual direction for us and causing large area blackouts. We our one of a few with this type of generator on our and other than the internet being disrupted for a couple of we have no disruption in our daily routine.
