Our Generac generator was just installed. Installation was quick and professional. It seems that the operation of the unit will be pretty much self-sufficient. While we haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, I am confident that it will perform just as we were told. We are usually one of the last homes to get power back because of our rural location so the peace of mind knowing that our sump pumps, furnace, well, and freezers will run in the event of a power outage is immense.

Well our Generac 22K generator is ready every second every hour of everyday 24/7 peace of mind. Completely satisfied with our generator, comes on once a week for 10 min to do a self test, great feature. We did lose power this winter season and just like generac said the unit will kick on in 10 seconds. Restored power to the house!!!! At that point I said it was worth every penny. Don't have operational time yet but all went very well with install of 22Kw and transfer switch that we placed inside the garage. Startup process proved system easily took the house without issues. Only two people (until a storm hits :>) ) and 2600 Sq Ft place. Write another review when the system is needed/used for the first real event.

We did a lot of research on standby generators and decided on the Generac 22kw. At first, we weren't so sure Generac was the brand for us. There had been a number of complaints. Our dealer explained that early on the Evolution control board was failing. But the issue was resolved. We took him on his word and glad we did. Four days after it was installed, the Seattle area was hammered with over a foot of snow and power went out. Generator kicked on and stayed on for the next 10 hours. Power was restored for around 3 hours and went back out. Generator kicked on and ran for another 12 hours. We rely on a pump grinder to discharge sewage. Without power, we get 10 flushes from our toilet. Wife demands that system work! So far, Generac has made us a believer. We live on a island and the other thing that sold us was parts are plentiful. Not so much with other brands. The free mobile link is nice but highly limited. To get full use of its features you have to pay a monthly fee. We highly recommend this generator.

Like many, we just installed it to back up the whole house. The ATS works cleanly and efficiently. There is a couple second delay to engage when power goes out just as expected. This unit is 100 amp output and keeps up with most of our home's 3000 sq.ft. 2 AC units and electric tankless hot water. No one should ask that much of it. But we do and the only gotcha in our setup so far is the hot water heater drawing over 100 amps. (the generator protection mechanism engages properly shutting it down, no distress to it or the house, resetting is easy, which is a plus during a black out) So in backup mode, we have to kill one of the 3 40 amp breakers to the hot water heater. We are going to get the WiFi enabled smart breakers so we don't over tax the backup generator. But I am impressed that this little guy does exactly what it is designed to do, easy to use, and pray its longevity is as impressive.

Kevin from Larrison Electrical came out and went through what product would work best for our home.The unit was installed about a week earlier that expected,the install went without any problems,installers were experienced with there aspects of the job,cleaned up after the job was complete and went through how the unit worked and test run it. My 22 kw home back up generator was installed on 6/23/2016. The installation was professional in every way. Attention was given to every aspect of the installation from the mounting the switch box, running the cables, attaching the protective pipe down the brick exterior to start up and teaching me how to use it. All was covered. When the two installers left my home there was no mess as they hauled away everything leaving the area the way they found it upon arrival. Generator start up was near immediate and the switch test was flawless. While running the generator I entered my home listening for the noise. I could not hear it running while inside, very pleased. I am very impressed with both the quality of the product and the Generac contractor who performed the installation. Thank you to all.
