We have had 4 major power outages since the first of the year. We searched the internet for different manufactures of home standby generator systems and decided that Generac was the best value. Its appearance is good and we were pleased with the Generac certified technicians who did the installation.

The purchase, delivery, installation of our Generac in a word was "Outstanding". All installers were terrific, kept informed what was happening, the why's and don'ts sort of thing. Our's comes on every Tuesday at 1300 hrs which give us comfort that if power goes out we will not be inconvenienced. The unit itself looks great. As we live in a small town (close neighbours) they know when our unit is "on". In summary, if your looking to "power" your house when power outages occur look no further that purchasing a Generac (our Generac was installed by Gentec Services, Ottawa, Ontario

My Generac was installed by a highly qualified contractor who knows Generac completely. The generator not only checks it self weekly but sends me a monthly report to my PC. I contacted my insurance company advising of the installation and received a discount on my home owners policy. The unit sets quietly behind my house and looks very nice due to a great installation. I placed a small fence (6 feet long ) to block view from the street, not because of a bad view but to discourage thieves. I feel so much safer with this generator installed. I have full confidence in its ability to startup whenever the power fails. As a single female with an 85 year old mother, that's important! The installation team of James, Dylan and David were amazing. It took several hours for the power company to get the power back on after installation, but the team stayed until they did. They were very helpful and courteous and worked extremely hard. They also instilled confidence!

The generator arrived on time well packaged and undamaged direct from the factory. It was installed by my local electrician and plumber without any major problems. The cabinet looks great and the runtime doesn't seem to bother my neighbors. First time we asked it to generate during a power outage it worked flawlessly.

We live in Florida and don’t want to go for an extended period of time without Air Conditioning. This unit can handle our needs effortlessly. The unit is sleek and unobtrusive. It blends in with the pool equipment. The install and permit process took some time but was well worth the wait.

We installed a 15Kw unit 13 years ago, virtually trouble free operation. We decided to upgrade to a 22Kw unit due to the age of the first installation. The new one is quieter, the power is more pure and we now have load control for managing the HVAC system. The WiFi monitoring is great! Smooth replacement installation.
