We live in NW Florida and are big fans of Generac. We recently replaced a 25 year old Generac 20KW system with a brand new 24KW Guardian Series. Wow the technology has come a long way. I remember us riding out Hurricane Ivan in 2004 (winds exceeding 150+ mph) We had whole house power throughout the storm. Afterwards, our neighborhood was without power for over 3 weeks, but not at our house. Thank you Generac!

From the estimate to the conclusion of installation, this project was excellent. Mr. Buchanan gave us a very reasonable estimate for the size and quality of the generator installed. The men who installed the generator, set-up and wi-fi connection did a terrific job, were very pleasant, cleaned up nicely, helped me connect my phone to the Mobil Link app. We couldn't have asked for a better team. Just built a 6,000 sq ft home on the main street in historic Hot Springs National Park Arkansas and this unit will do the job. Installed reasonably easy and tested perfectly. Looking forward to never using it but given our history here and ice storms fell I will be calling on next winter. I feel better knowing it's there

I recently had 22kw unit installed. All is good but have not suffered a power outage yet, only a couple of simulated outages during acceptance testing. It is quieter than expected. I am not happy that remote monitoring is available only thru cell phone connection and not thru wifi. We cannot get cell signal here like many generator users in remote areas. What were their engineers thinking?

The unit was just installed a few days ago so it is too early to know how it will work or fare over time but it seems very well made. My focus of this review is to laud the HPS installation crew of Woodie, Steve and Jeff who were knowledgeable, neat and personable. They completed the work in less than one day and were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend HPS!

My standby generator was installed about a week or so ago. The other night we had strong winds that blew some branches down, breaking power lines that supplied electricity to our city. About 20 seconds after our lights went out, I heard our generator crank-up & start. A few seconds later, everything came back on. My wife looked out the window & told me everything in the community was still dark." That's so cool!" Was all she said. About 3 hrs. later, I heard the generator slow down, then shut off & seamlessly everything stayed on. It was great to find out so soon after the installation that we had indeed made the right decision & a good investment by purchasing this product & this model. It was up & running before I could have reached a flashlight. It made less noise than our A/C unit & we've already had our community association reps. tell us how nice the unit looks.

I did my research and found Generac to be the best for a full house generator. The price, the features, the size, the look and the company itself were all the reasons I decided to go with Generac. This was a perfect combination for our needs. I liked the product so much, I gathered 7 of my neighbors to purchase one as well. All did their own research and decided that this was the best choice.

We lost power for four days during Irma and ran off a portable generator that was wired into my panel. It also ran off my propane tank so it was a pretty good deal--didn't need to get gas, etc. However, I lost an electrical device or two and was concerned about the bigger appliances (refrigerator, A/C) having problems in the future so decided to upgrade. Other than a ding in the lid (which we didn't recognize until the electrician unpacked the item, long after shipping--how would my wife be able to inspect this upon delivery, especially since the GenPad was on TOP of the generator on delivery?), the unit was pristine. Installation was done via a local electrician who has done much work on my home over the 20 years I have been here, and my gas company handled the gas hookup. I probably did not need 22KW, but it was only a few hundred dollars more than a 17KW or 20KW, so decided what the heck. Very happy to be protected this upcoming hurricane season!

7 Year Warranty When we looked at purchasing a generator in March of this year we were told that if we purchased it we would get an additional seven year warranty with $695. The generator was delivered in September because of delays with Generac, which we understand, but now we are being told that because we didn't take delivery in the month that we purchased it that we cannot have the warranty because it was with a third party supplier. I don't think we should be penalized because Generac was unable to supply the generator in a timely manner. Would you please contact me and let me know why my purchase promise is not being honored?
