My husband and I had the 22kw on our first home in Houston Texas after hurricane Ike. The 2nd one was installed on an acreage home in northern Iowa. In both scenarios I felt much more comforted knowing the Generac back-up was with us. We program ours to do checks once a month and it has never failed. Thank you, Generac!

The Generac dealer contacted me within 2 days of initial contact and gave an estimate within 2 days of house inspection. Installation was completed within the timeline given once the contract was signed. Installation techs were personable, did everything to code and cleaned up after the installation was complete. A minor glitch a few days after the installation was immediately remedied without cost to me and now everything is working fine. Would recommend both dealer and product.

I live in a rural area that has suffered multiple power outages during the 11 years that I have lived here lasting from a few minutes to almost 4 days in length. The Generac whole house generator gives me peace of mind knowing that I will not lose power for multiple days again, that my frozen food will not go bad, and that I will be able to continue to live independently. In our former home, we had a 20kw Generac Guardian. In our new home, we now have the 22kw model and it is even quieter that our previous unit. Plus, we have the the Cold Weather Kit. Our older generator never failed to start, although sometimes it did crank a time or two before "kicking over." With the Cold Weather Kit, I now can sleep with both eyes closed. Tom M.

I just completed building our new home here in Louisiana where power outages are very common due to extreme weather conditions. Local ordinances required us to have a sewage grinder and pump. Without a backup generator, we would have been out of luck in an extended power outage. Our new Generac 22KW generator meets our total house needs with power to spare. It looks good, is very quiet when running, and is very efficient on Propane gas. After pricing other generators, I know I made the right decision in purchasing my Generac 22KW.

I've wanted to install a generator for several years now but pulled the trigger when they offered a 10 year extended warranty option for free. The install process went well but took about 11 hours to do. The finished product looked good. I wish there was an option of some colors because the buscuit color sticks out against a darker color house. The dealer, Lee Legler, did a great job and answered all my questions. The first test run went well. I also like the app you have that lets the homeowner monitor the generator's status.

Our unit was put into service today. It tested out perfectly, and handled both of our home’s AC units running at the same time without flinching. Having this asset will be a great stress reducer during hurricane season and when Texas gets its occasional strong winter cold spell.

The Generac Generator looks good, test good, is waiting for the first power outage to see and feel how it works. The installation time was acceptable. It was more expensive than necessary for all that I had to do to get area ready and the calling, etc. I had to do to get gas meter checked and upgraded in the installation process. BUT it is done. I pray that it works efficiently and long term and that Canter does a good job of monitoring and maintaining its operation.
