After 435 hours of protection and 5 years of service while using a 22 kw NG model G0065512 generator after hurricane Ida in Louisiana the muffler ruptured at 1 o'clock in the morning. Generator continued running at a very high level of noise. At daylight, in a rain storm, with an umbrella, I removed panels and removed the muffler, it had ruptured at the inlet above the cooling fan for the generator sending metal fragments into the plastic fan blade. Fan was damaged but still usable. I made a repair to the muffler and re-installed. First time I actually needed generator to perform this is reason for poor quality rating.

Our generator was placed into service on 10/7/2022. Since then, it has often failed to start for its weekly exercise period (on10/11/2022, 2/8/2023, 4/6/2023, 4/10/2023, 4/20/2023 and 5/12/2023 to be specific). It keeps the service technician very busy for a seven-month-old machine. We have very little confidence that our generator will start if we experience a power outage.

Chief’s Electrical Plus did a great job with the installation in spite of our county’s issues with the installation process. He/they did a good job with the install and it looks amazing. We highly recommend this company. Mr Love communicated with us every step of the way so we were kept informed during the process. We have had it work while power was out and we’re cozy during the cold weather!

We had a 16 Kw Generac for 11 years and were very pleased with its performance. We have just recently upgraded to the 22Kw with the whole house transfer switch ... we've not tested it yet under adverse conditions but feel sure it will be just as dependable! Plus, being able to power anything in the house will be a huge bonus.

Rescom employees were all very helpful and professional. Can't wait for the power to fail and our Generac to kick in! We have only had it for 5 days but know it will last many years. We have a twice-yearly maintenance contract with Rescom and a 7-year warranty from Generac.

Our generator was installed a couple of weeks ago. I cannot praise the guys who sold and installed the unit highly enough! We're hit by a natural disaster (tornado, hurricane) and lose power from a few days to weeks about every 2 years. We're due; however, this time we are prepared! Now, when the weather turns ugly, we don't cringe and worry how long the power outage will last. The peace of mind is worth the cost. I highly recommend purchasing this unit. .

I've been reviewing and researching whole home generators for years and have always came back to Generac's 70432 22kw. The reviews for this model are outstanding everywhere it is sold. Finally, I bought one and had it installed a month ago and have used it 3 times in 1 month! Absolutely was perfect! I have a 2 story 2200 sq ft home and everything runs with this baby. Comes on seconds after power failure. Best investment of my life. Should have gotten this little love years ago. Thank You Generac for making such a great machine!

Exceeded my expectations, I had the transfer switch installed when the house was constructed so the install was quick and easy. Very professional. Have not had a power outage yet so i cant comment on the ability of the unit to power everything but when it was tested it came up and did what it supposed to do
