I am very happy with my new Generac generator and the stand which is sits on, allowing it to remain above the snow in the Winter. Mike and Jim who installed it for me are true professionals and I would highly recommend a Generac whokle house generator. It gives me such peace of mind having it as a backup for power outages. We were impressed with how everything was handled from the quote to the installation. Generac arranged for 2 quotes. One was by phone and the other was by an actual visit. The phone quote was done by Countryside Electric and we chose them. Although we did not understand how a quote could be done in this way, GI had almost all of the necessary information from searches he did on line. Our biggest problem was that the gas and electric are on opposite sides of the house. GI arranged for his subcontractor to make an actual on site visit so an accurate quote could be made. Matt from Doc Thompson Plumbing did the on site visit and he decided that it would be easiest and most cost efficient to run a dedicated gas line through the house instead of outside. All of the connections are outside. Only the gas line runs through the basement. When it was time for the installation, it was done by Nick and John. They were knowledgeable, polite, and seemed to be very efficient. Brian was here with his helper Dustin on the same day and they also did a very good job with the plumbing. All of the people involved were concerned with doing the job correctly and making it look professional. Although we haven't had a power failure yet, the generator does run once a week for 5 minutes and everything seems to be working correctly. We were very impressed with all of the people involved including Eric and the other office staff that we have talked to. I would recommend a Generac generator and Countryside Electric.

Installation was neat and efficient even following 10” of snow. Installers were courteous and informative. They used drop cloths to keep all floor surfaces safe. And even shoveled snow when necessary. Following installation there was a review of equipment and time for questions. A test was run so that I could hear the generator in operation. Installers made sure pilots on furnace and water heater were lit. A technician came by following the installation to help me download the mobile link.Today, as promised, my generator tested itself. Perfect. R.G. Behers Electrical was outstanding!!

I did a lot of research into backup generators, some had a few more bells and whistles so was the cost. From what I found Generac stood above them all. The 18Kw will meet out needs. We went through ESCON Power Solutions, Bay City, MI for the purchase and installation. They went above and beyond to make sure the installation was done correctly (a couple of unplanned challenges were found during the installation). I highly recommend them if you are looking for a Generac dealer.

Living in the country we depend on electrical energy for our water well pump and sanitary system as well as all household applications. The Generac standby generator gives us peace of mind that we will have running water as well as lights during a utility outage.

Spring Generator did an excellent job installing our 22kw whole house Generac generator. We were pleased with their company. However, when they first started the generator, the engine malfunctioned and blew a hole in the case blowing out the oil. The unit had to be removed and taken back to the shop. Generac took a few weeks to supply another engine to Spring Generator so they could re-assemble it. It is working fine now but will need to watch over time.

This automatic generator gives us peace of mind in the many storms we have to deal with in South Louisiana! It has a weekly check to make sure all is in order. The installation by the very qualified dealer was done quickly and without any problems. I will definitely recommend this product!

After about 14 years or so, our 17KW crapped out. In simple terms, the stator self-destructed. Major, major costly repair. The local dealership that originally installed this 17KW quoted me a price to replace the generator. 17KW was no longer available, so they quoted me on the next size up. I believe it was on a 18 or 20KW. The price they quoted me was around $8,500.00. That was more than the original cost of the 17KW which included the transfer box(which would not need to be replaced) and connection to the propane tank. I searched around for another dealership and found one that had a 22KW in stock for $5,250.00. Installation included. So that’s what I went with. That was installed 6/20/18. Here it is September of 2021 and the generator failed. My mistake was to call in the same people who sold/installed the 17KW. They diagnosed it the next day, determined that the control board need to be replaced, however, since they did not install/replace the 22KW, they would not work on it. Here’s the summary. When I purchased the 22KW it came with a 5 year warranty, but after the first 3 years, the only things left on the warranty are the engine and alternator. I don’t care one way or the other. I just wanted it fixed. Come to find out Generac dealers/service companies are 3rd party. They can set their own guidelines/policies. No commitment or jurisdiction under Generac. So here’s where I stand. The dealership that sold me the 22KW will be here tomorrow. My advice to any potential buyers is beware. Not all Generac service companies appear to be equal. If they have internal policies that prevent them from servicing your generator, you may find yourself in a compromising situation. Don’t get me wrong. As long as it works, Generac stand-by generators are wonderful, but in MHO, if a company such as Generac certifies installation/ service companies, they should also be able to control service policies over these 3rd party companies.

We added this 22kw unit when we built an addition on the house. No more running drop cords or dealing with the issues of running a portable generator. This unit runs the entire house during a power outage, automatically. The Mobile Link feature also keeps me informed of it's operation no matter where I am. Highly recommend this product!

My Generac Guard was installed a couple of days ago. The installation and startup went great -- impressive! I now feel peace of mind about the potential for power outages. Excellent representative - workers were professional, efficient, and great on explaining product to me. I like the look of the unit.
