Built my home in summer of 2020, installed the 22kW Generac onto the home and I have never been so happy. Every outage it performed perfectly, every month, it tested perfectly on the 1st. Every time I use the APP to check it or update the maintenance, it’s all good to go. I can’t say enough good things for this product. People, if your just not sure, do it, you won’t be disappointed.

Just got our standby generator installed. Was very pleased with the service and after the load testing my 22KW unit running my whole home. I have (2) AC Heat Pumps,Hot Tube and all electric appliances. Unit runs at 50% so we still have plenty of capacity. Will have to watch my neighbors to make sure they aren’t running cords over lol. My 22kw generator, gives me peace of mind, in the case of a power outage. It is quiet and efficent. With it's automatic activation during an outage ,is one less thing i have worry about during these stressed times. I feel confident and secure knowing we will have electricity in the event of a power outage.

I have had a long history with Generac emergency power systems from my 40 years as a General Supt of Power Operations in NYC Transit. Our crews started using portable trailer mounted units to supply critical power to train signal circuits and other necessary power needs in our substations. The reliability of these machines made a positive impact on Transit by reducing train delays and ensuring the people of NYC experienced as little delay as possible, in their commuting during local power outages. Knowing this, when I retired and moved to rural Hubertus Wisconsin, Generac was my first and only choice when I decided to have emergency power installed. My new unit is quiet and now, with winter storms looming, I guess it will get a workout when needed. I am talking on Amateur radio each day, and several "hams" have started the process of having Generac systems installed in their homes. One fellow in Connecticut was fed up with the days and yes, weeks, long outages so he purchased his Generac which is to be installed very soon. I guess one can say we are satisfied customers and are thankful for the quality products offered by your company!

Our generator was placed into service on 10/7/2022. Since then, it has often failed to start for its weekly exercise period (on10/11/2022, 2/8/2023, 4/6/2023, 4/10/2023, 4/20/2023 and 5/12/2023 to be specific). It keeps the service technician very busy for a seven-month-old machine. We have very little confidence that our generator will start if we experience a power outage.

I had another brand prior to moving To my current address. I had many issues that required a tech. Everyone I spoke to including my neighbor at my prior home have no issues like I had. I am very happy with sound insulation and appearance with my Generac 22kw wholesome unit

This is our second whole home generator. We upgraded our home and chose to upgrade our Generac, and so glad we did! Love the Wi-Fi Feature, it's so quiet, and safety features are a bonus. Shortly after install, our power was out for over 12 hours, on a hot summer day, however, our Generac powered right up. If you live in the country or have someone with medical concerns that make it difficult to move them from place to place, don't go another day without getting one installed!

Generac Guardian 22kw generator will provide power to the entire house in event of a power outage. Unit is well constructed and designed for long term use. Fueled by natural gas it does not requre external fuel storage tanks and does not require periodic fuel resupply and does not have contamination issures common to diesel supplies.

Model 7042/3 depending on which web page you land on. (That's another issue.) As advertised, within ~10 secs, off utility, on generator, full electrical supply. Nice clean case. To a journeyman electrician/plumber, and myself (a physicist), straight forward installation; including, all necessary home/site prep. W/o those qualifications, don't try this at home kids. Within ~15 secs of utility restoration, generator off, utility on. Simple, implies reliable, engine/generator design/layout. Required maintenance is incredibly simple and easy to do. Programming the menu, to idle at regular intervals, required an 800 phone call, even w/journeyman electrician on the line. Despite mediocre cabinet insulation and the cheapest muffler can I've ever seen in my 70 years, it will wake the dead when it lights up (90dB @ 10 feet)! Support's answer to "Is there an optional quiet muffler?"; "Touch anything inside that cabinet and your warranty is void.".
