The purchase, installation and certified startup went very well. The first year of service with five hours of run time required three warranty visits by the certified startup company. The first warranty call was due to the generator over cranking and loose bolts on the frame. The certified startup company addressed these issues quickly. The second warranty call was due to an oil leak. The certified startup company found loose hose connections around the engine and cooler. They replaced the factory clamps with adjustable clamps. Once again they did a great job. The third warranty call was due to another oil leak. This time the certified startup company found the front engine seal leaking. This was a major repair as they had to remove the entire end of the generator. Once again, they did a great job. At this point, I started asking questions about the warranty and extended warranties. I was given the warranty registration details from the certified startup company and was told to call Generac. I called the main number and was told to call the power group as they handled extended warranties. I called the power group and was told my generator was not registered to call the main number again. I called the main number again and they stated the generator was registered and to call the power group again. Well after many calls I realized I could not fix their departmental communication problem and gave up. I do believe Generac is a good company which is why I still recommended the product. However, I would highly recommend reviewing other manufacturers offers, as I unfortunately found afterwards that they have better warranties and very good reviews as well.

We LOVE our new whole house generator. I have oxygen machines that require electricity to charge. It gives us peace of mind to have the generator in event of power failure. We have had one power shortage since installation. It came on promptly, powered our house and used very little gas to run for about 4-5 hours. It is great! Also increases the value of our home. Love it and am so glad we purchased!

Had installed in April 2020. Nice space saver. The automatic power switch is really an item that you need. In ten seconds after the power went out the lights were back on. When the power was restored, the switch from generator to line was so quick there was not even a flicker. The is a green light on the side of the generator that lets you know that all is well and the generator is ready to serv. I have not reached a maintenance cycle yet but, the manual indicates that it is pretty easy to service. When the light go out for an extended period of time you wish you would have installed a Generac system.

After getting quotes from various whole house generator brands, the choice was obvious! Generac provides the BEST generator at the BEST price. Therefore obviously the BEST VALUE. I read thru every estimate and warranty information; Generac won hands down!

I just had the 22KW Guard +200A backup generator installed at my home. Several storms last year required the normal, go get my portable gen, run extenstion cables, refill gas cans and stay up all night and/or several days and hope that I had enough gas for the duration of the power outages. I feel relieved and relaxed now and will be ready for any future storms and outages that may be coming. The entire system installation took around 4 hours and was expertly installed by Lake City, FL Holly Electric workers, along with propane workers with Sawyer Gas Co. All work was accomplished with workers highly qualified and professional in all ways; area looks great and new generator sets off the look. Great job, highly recommend system and companies....

So, I installed my 1st Generac, a 13kw in 2006 and it ran flawlessly until I sold the home in November 2020. I just had my new 22kw installed today. What a difference in technology over the years. I love the wi-fi monitoring. These are true work horses. Super quiet, And, with an aluminum housing, No rust. Also with the engine oil heater, There are no worries of damage from cold oil at start-up. Plus with a seven year warranty, There are no worries. The added valance trim and sleek housing design are great as well. Plus two locks for added security. What more can I say. You cannot go wrong with the Generac whole home standby generators. I highly recommend Generac..

The first time I lost power was about 6:15 am and the neighbors across the street were getting ready for work and were taking a shower but power went out and my 26 year old son went to the light light panel in the hallway of our house and started flashing the lights . The neighbors saw and commented about the lights flashing on in a power outage. Also sold my father- in -law on the product and he purchased one.

We are very excited to have our new Generac 22KW Generator installed. The Mobile Lilnk option is very reasurring that you can monitor the "Exercising" scheudle, battery charing, and ready to run status. The quality both outside and expecially inside is obvious upon inspection. We have not lost power since the installtion, but are actually looking forward to it as crazy as that may sound. No more extension cords is somehting that Im looking forward to not having to do any longer. Will recommend to all neighbors, family, and friends. This is also a great additon to the value of our home.

We were losing power all the time, so we decided to invest in a Generac. After we bought the Generac, we didn't lose power for 6 months! LOL When we lost power for the first time after the installation, the Generac kicked right on and ran for 13 hrs. until the power came back on. I love knowing that I don't have to drag out the Mr. Heaters and the oil lamps any more! The Generac is a lot quieter than I had thought it would be. When I am on the opposite end of the house from it, I can't hear it at all. When I am on the same end, it is just a "humming" sound. I love the comfort that my Generac gives me!

The team at Storm Guardian Generators out of Alvin, TX did an awesome Job. Got many calls about the installation dates and time. Came early on the date, (was cool with me). Got everything completed in a timely manner. Cleaned everything up when finished. And now we wait for center point, not there fault. I would have to say this is a very reliable company and was very competitive on the estimate and gave me more than what other companies were offering. Thanks!! Very much appreciated!
