After several months of researching various generator brands I concluded that Generac was far superior to the others, especially when price is a factor. About seven months ago I finally made the purchase. I purchased a Generac 22kW standby generator with an automatic transfer switch included. We live in a rural area and have used the generator several times. Six seconds after the power goes off, like clock work, the generator comes on. Our special needs daughter lives with us and that fact alone makes a generator almost necessary. We could not be happier with our generator. I highly recommend a Generac generator.

I purchased Generac because of its reputation in the field. Most of the cellular communications field use these for backup power so I figured if they trust it to keep millions of dollars of equipment on the air why not me. My unit has worked faultlessly so far and I expect it to for many more years. The weekly exercise program and the auto start features are a god send. Being up in the mountains where we get heavy snow and loose power a lot, my worries are over and I can live with out worries of food spoiling no heat and the ability to cook for the family. If I did it again I would pick the exact same unit and have showed it to numerous neighbors and friends with demos.

My wife and I consider this a luxury , we waited 47 years to get this ,as there were always other priorities. Here in our little town of Saline , we loose power all too often. Amazing less than 24 hours after completing the hook up the power went out. Oh, but not here , wow I almost slept through it . Than we were so excited it was hard to get back to sleep..... This generator was installed yesterday. The buying experience was very professional. The unit appears to be in excellent condition. The workers were very knowledgeable and respectful of my property. My neighbors recommended this product after their excellent experience.

This is my first purchase of a whole house generator, I can not comment on reliability because installation was just completed. What i can mention is that i liked the fact that i did not have to worry about anything. The sales team was responsible for everything, they called and scheduled the utilities for identification, pulled the permits and scheduled the gas and electric companies to make the required connections. I would also like to mention that the people that did come out to perform maintenance were very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend this product and this company.

I cannot speak to the electronic features of this unit as I am not a techie, and we have not needed it yet due to an outage. We did not price around but insisted on an American made generator. If it provides us power when we need it, we will assume we purchased a Quality unit.

Since the Generator was installed, we have not lost electrical power to our home .However, we expect the Generator to perform as advertised. We were surprised at the number times the installer had to come back to get the Mobile Link feature operational. All in all, we are very pleased with the price, product and warranty.

After going through multiple hurricanes with minimal power and multiple outages when I moved to my new house I made the commitment to be safe and keep comfortable during an outage. The unit is great and powers the whole house including the pool with no issues.

This product is as advertised and works as it should. I am very pleased with this generator and its operation. I am confident that I can rely on it to protect my electrical power requirements. The only problem I had was actually getting the unit and having it installed. The actual choice to buy was easy and the cost was acceptable for the security it offered and paying for the unit was easy but delivery was three months later and installation was another three weeks almost 4 months after I decided to install a generator. And the advertised 7 year warranty free was the final factor and I still don’t know if I have that warranty. I haven’t seen any notifications explaining my warranty or even if I have a warranty yet. I called my installer but they said that was provided by Generac and they would be sending me a notification and explanation of my warranty, but haven’t received anything yet so it’s another thing that I’m waiting for. So I like the generator but I’m not thrilled with the company so far.

This is my second Generac. Previous house we had a 14kv and in this new house we upped to a 22kv. It is mounted on a stand so to be wifi enabled is a dream. We are looking forward to many years of service. Even though this is an upscale community we are subject to irregular power outages especially during hurricane season. This new generator is smooth and reliable.
