We had our generator hooked up 2 days before hurricane Irma hit Florida Sept. 2017. We never lost one second of power at our house ,all our family brought there food to put in our freezer,so not only our family was helped out in the storm. We now have 3 other familys that are getting there own Generac. Thank you Generac for having a great product you truly was a comfort to us for 6 long days .

Installed a 2005 13kw upgraded to 15kw unit with 100amp transfer switch and breaker box at previous residence ,was excellent unit ,covered 80% of house for 13 years with frequent outages in mountains. Relocated to another state and just set up 22kw with whole house switch, very nice unit. Glad to see exercise times settings and battery charger issues addressed, looking forward to many more years of service.

The product was everything it was purported to be. Very satisfied with Generac, have a 12000 watt generac portable for on the job backup also. However be careful who you purchase from. Norwall power systems. uploads your order stating that additional shutoff switches are required (2) due to NEC Requirements. Additional costs $35 ea. For a total of $70.00 When shown that their rep. was in error, after delivery. you are told you will have to pay return shipping and an additional 20% restocking fee, with pictures and additional stipulations that are not consumer friendly. Read their return policy. there is no customer service.

My 22 kw home back up generator was installed on 6/23/2016. The installation was professional in every way. Attention was given to every aspect of the installation from the mounting the switch box, running the cables, attaching the protective pipe down the brick exterior to start up and teaching me how to use it. All was covered. When the two installers left my home there was no mess as they hauled away everything leaving the area the way they found it upon arrival. Generator start up was near immediate and the switch test was flawless. While running the generator I entered my home listening for the noise. I could not hear it running while inside, very pleased. I am very impressed with both the quality of the product and the Generac contractor who performed the installation. Thank you to all.

Apparently my original review did not meet Generac's criteria, but it didn't say why. Maybe because it was not a good review. My 30 plus year old generator never failed me. My new Generac 10kw has failed me over ten times. Two oil pressure sensors later a new motor, it still fails to start often due to error code 1300, which is low oil pressure. DO NOT BUY A 10 KW GENERAc!!! With the new motor it has gone into EC 1300 about four or five times. I have thousands of dollars worth of meat. I am now requesting their more trustworthy unit, apparently the 20 KW never fails. The 10kw in 20 years one dealer oney sold one unit. I am getting a little run around, it has been over a week since the local dealer is responding, the company does not deal with individual customers I am told, the dealer has to take care of the problem. My request is charge me the extra difference for the 20 KW take this piece of crap back. I do not need a bigger unit, which is why I bought the 10kw. I only have a couple of lights, but more importantly my freezer and refer on it. The unit that was here for over 30 plus years, and I lived here for 11 years, NEVER had a problem NEVER!!!!. It was just getting old, tired and a little noisier then the new one. I wish I would have just put new rings in the old one, it never failed, not once. If Generac does not like my review because it does not meet their criteria, tell me what the problem is with my review. NOT A FIVE STAR????

I live in Texas, and I am sure a lot of you heard about the snow and hard freeze that crippled our power grid. that storm made me, and my wife realize we needed a generator. I had my 24kw installed this past July and I haven't had to use just yet but knowing and having that piece of mind that when an outage does occur, my lights will be on when others won't. And today I just had the GenMon installed today. Having this generator installed was and is a good investment.

Living along the Gulf Coast having a Genrac backup gas generator provides peace of mind should the inevitable hurricane arrive. But we also have intermittent power outages and a 2021 winter storm that kicked Texas’ butt! So having moved to a new home we were quick to call our Genrac rep and order a new generator for this home also; we installed our first a few years ago in the townhouse we previously owned. The Genrac was a good selling feature for us and important to the new homeowners also!

Out generator was installed while we were experiencing 2 hurricanes! We were blessed to not be without power and have not used our generator as of yet, but there is another hurricane set to make landfall within the next few hours so we are happy to be set up and ready.

I don't care for bad weather but I can't wait for the power to go off. I have wanted a generator like this for years and I am so excited to finally have one. WHAT PIECE OF MIND! Installers did a great job not only with the installation but also with making themselves available should I have any questions or needs.
