Platinum Groupswere wonderful

Platinum Group did a fantastic job with the installation of my generator. They walked me through the trouble shooting which was really really helpful. Great purchase for peace of mind - I would recommend a Generac and Platinum Group for a job well done

Yesterday our Generac 22KW Model 7032 generator was installed. The team did a fantastic job-totally professional job.

The installation of our new 22KW Model 7032 went so smoothly by an absolutely knowledgeable, professional and respectful team. We are very happy and completely satisfied and we would be glad to recommend the Generac company and the Generac approved electrical company to anyone.

Best Overall Value - Best Home Generator Available

I did exhaustive research before purchasing my Generac 22kw Whole House Generator. My mother has had a Generac for almost 2 decades - zero problems, always dependable. I am an engineer so I research everything like a project for work. I compare everything - cost, reviews, cost over lifetime, fuel economy, ease of maintenance, etc. So, I'm not impressed by a flashy outward appearance, but the inner workings and solid framework. A long term reputation and years of customer reviews impress me more. I was more impressed after my purchase by the reviews from the installers and technicians. They were impressed and commented on the new upgrades and changes from previous models. It seems Generac listens to the customers and installers to correct issues, problems and sometimes, just little nagging items. All in all, I was happy before I purchased my generator. Now, I am overjoyed after hearing feedback from everyone from the electricians to the country electrical inspector on the value and abilities of this model.

I Trust My Electrician, and My Electrician Trusts Generac

Our electrician - a true perfectionist, and among the most honorable men we've ever met - has installed hundreds of whole-house generators, and won't recommend anything other than a Generac. He swears by their reliability, quality electrical components, sturdy and rust-free enclosures, durable engines, and the clean current they provide. During installation, he opened the generator and pointed out all the elements of Generac's thoughtful, maintenance-friendly design. All in all, it's obvious why Generac is the dominant player in whole-house generators.

Generac Generator Gives Peace of Mind!

I am so relieved to have a whole house Generac Generator! This purchase offers peace of mind from losing heat in the winter, air conditioning in the summer and electricity. K & B Energy Solutions gave me excellent customer service. The installers were polite, conscientious, and gave attention to detail. I appreciate quality workmanship, so I am highly recommending K & B Energy Solutions!

Happy with install and product.

I am very happy with the installation labor used . Explained operation and expectations. Happy with operation of generator. It can handle whole house with 5 ton and 3 ton ac unit. Its a spend of money, but I'm happy with everything. Paid for extra 5 year warranty. Its a machine it will break down. The installers will be notified of improper operation immediately.

Emphasis on feature and piece of mind

Our permanently installed Generac home backup generator protects our home automatically. It runs on natural gas and sits outside just like a central air conditioning unit. Our home backup generator delivers power directly to our house’s electrical system, backing up our entire home. No more sitting in the cold or not being able to live comfortably when when there is a power outage. We where please with the professional technicians that set up our system.

This product works perfectly and has already started paying for itself with Hurricane Nicole!

I can not say enough wonderful things about the installation crew. Went above and beyond in every aspect of installation, explanation, respecting property, and clean-up. This is a great product that proved itself during hurricane Nicole. My elderly parents were safe and comfortable in their home when the power went out. It worked perfectly! You can not put a price on that! Highly recommend this product and the folks at Generx in Bunnell Florida.

Warranty Issues

Bought our 16kw natural gas unit six years back. The only times it ran was during short power outages lasting a few days and weekly runs. Hurricane Ida hit and we thought things were under control. Six hours into the storm and it shut down permanently. The next day I found the cover missing which allowed rain to get into the generator itself shorting everything out. Calling Generac we were told it was an act of God and our extended warranty would NOT cover it. Upon further evaluation we determined it was what I consider a manufacturers defective method of bonding the top to the subframe. The top or rather frame while locked on both sides, remained in place while the lid, held in place with sticky foam tape flew off. The tape didn't even leave residue on the lid. We just got the insurance company to agree on replacing it since Generac stands by their decision. We had to go with Generac again, but I will drill holes and bolt the lid in place this time. So a word of caution to everyone, BOLT THOSE LIDS TO THE SUBFRAME. I hope the business that installed the new unit can file a claim for the techs time to install it since insurance merely paid for the new generator but not installation. The techs did awesome work and even corrected a few issues from the first install.
