After the dealer did a site survey and needs assessment, I scheduled an installation of Model # 70421 to include two transfer switches for my two 200 AMP service panels. The install was done on the day scheduled and as it has only been two days later without a power failure, I cannot comment on its performance. However, the installer did show me how the system takes over from outside electrical providers to power all of my electrical needs for my house. The unit is quiet and blends in with the outside of the house. I did sign up for the maintenance agreement for two years, but a DIY kit is available. In the past outages I have been both cold or hot and worried about food spoilage not knowing when power would be restored. Also, without power, food preparation and watching TV wasn't possible. Three of my neighbors also installed Generac units at the same time.

We had our Generac 22kw generator installed on Monday August 29, 2016. Hurricane Hermine hit the Florida coast on September 2, 2016. We lost power for 56 hours and the generator performed perfectly. Turned on when it was supposed to, turned off when it was supposed to. We did not miss a beat. Powered the whole house, AC, well pump, electric stove and microwave. We shut it down once to check oil level, full and clean. I would suggest anyone living in a hurricane prone area, particularly in rural areas, to invest in a whole home generator. As I write this there are still thousands without power 4 days after the storm. As long as you have fuel, you have power.

Just purchased a 22kw whole house Generac. The process from sales to installation was seamless and professional. Jesse Causey electric did a fantastic installation preceded by the natural gas hookup. After being without power for 4 days during the last hurricane, we decided to protect our home and lifestyle with whole house protection. Since we travel a lot, having the automatic on interface means we do not worry while we are gone.

We appreciate not having to worry every time we get notified about upcoming power outages, especially because one of us is in a wheelchair, and starting a portable generator is sometimes a problem. We also are relieved to have chosen the auto start and stop feature. This generator operates off of our propane tank.

Bought New Generator, it is missing the skirting, and missing the wifi module, it came with a letter telling me to scan the QR code for the wifi module to be shipped to me, but when you scan the code, it says my generator is not an affected model, and will not be sending me a module, although it is on the invoice that it is wifi enabled and does have wifi, but the unit is missing? Will call and see what can be done about it i guess

Generator running on LP is a little loud, but performs well. I would like to see more features for the mobile link: Let me start off by saying, Mobile link is decent for a free application. There are so many things they could have done better though. All the functions on the Generator Control pad for number one. It's linked to my GEN, why can I not control any of the functions of it. Second and most important to me, what load is my generator running at? Can I add more? Now I have to go buy a separate digital load device to monitor. Over all I am happy with the GEN and APP/Software, just wish they would have put more thought into it. Overall Generator runs great with no issues and you definitely can not beat the 10 Year warranty they are offering right now!

Great generator, have hat the 22 kw for 2 years. Just run into a situation with Hurricane Laura. Had to evacuate because of storm. If power goes out, generator kicks on. What if house gets damaged, Do I really want to be feeding electricity to the house. No way to shut off remotely. Something to think about. Put something in the mobile link to kill generator by remote.

Bought this generator a few years ago and have done annual service. It has failed all three times it was needed. Local dealer has looked at it, but doesn’t have a clue. Do not buy this product, it will let you down when you need it!!! Generac will just send you to a dealer, no ownership. Expensive product, completely useless!!

I had another brand prior to moving To my current address. I had many issues that required a tech. Everyone I spoke to including my neighbor at my prior home have no issues like I had. I am very happy with sound insulation and appearance with my Generac 22kw wholesome unit
