Installation was excellent, operation so far has been spotty. In the snowstorm this week the unit failed to fire when the power went out and when later manually started went into safe mode tripping unit circuit breakers so no power went to our home. We had no power for 30 hours. The service tech is ordering parts so we will see how it goes. This was the third instance of failure to start, one in maintenance mode and one other in a power failure. I will update this review once we have operation consistency.

The quality, features and appearance sold me on my Generac backup generator. Combine that with a 1st class installation from my electrical contractor, “SKA Electric” from Stoney Point, NY 10980, I’m extremely happy. My father owned a full home generator (Generac). I experienced the peace of mind it gives you when Hurricane Matthew came through. It never waivered. It ran for 3 days while the neighborhood was without power. We even let the A/C run. No issues! We were very content. I now have my own home and just had the Generac installed this week. I am so very thrilled to have it and look forward to the weekly schedule where it will start and run for 5 mins every Sunday! It did yesterday and I was like HELLLLLO Jimmy-Rac. I named it after my father.

Since my husband passed away, there are so many things that I have to take care of or worry about. I would often worry about what I would do if the power went out. Since I live on a small farm, I need to be able to care for my animals. I did have a portable generator but I could never pull start it. And there was not an option to put on an electric start. Plus if I could get it started, then I would have to run extension cords to power things like the refrigerator or freezer or pellet stove for heat in the winter. I still couldn’t run my well pump to water my animals. So I decided to have a whole home generator installed. It was the best decision that I made. Now when the power goes out, I don’t worry about having to pull start a generator or what appliances to plug in or how long is the power going to be out for. It’s actually the last thing I worry about. Having the whole home generator gives me peace of mind. I LOVE it and would recommend it to anyone.

Got my whole-house Generac installed on a Wednesday; everyone I dealt with was MOST professional & knowledgeable. On the following Saturday we experienced a power outage due to windstorms. My Generac came on seconds after the power went out & ran flawlessly for 9 hours when power was restored!! One of the BEST purchases I’ve ever made; thank you for such a useful product!!

The guys were very excellent with installing our generator. Very polite and knowledgeable. Answered all our questions we had. The boss even called to make sure everything went ok and if we were satisfied which we were. Cleaned the work sight up also. Satisfactory.

Just had this installed at my home. Todd Eppley/Darien Generators did a great job installing and was able to coordinate all the moving parts to get this done in a smooth fashion without much headache to me. He answered all my questions and look forward to having this protection in place. I recommend his services highly.

The installation was done by E&RPower Solutions. I’m very pleased with the product and really looking forward to the time when we need it to work, not to wish any bad weather too anyone. I know that the guy who installed it had a 4 hour round trip to drive and the days in Kansas right now are hot, humid and very uncomfortable William was nice, friendly and very informative about what he was doing and about the product,a special thanks to him. Mike, Aiden, Damon and Andrew from Adam's Electric did a super job of the installation and cleaned up everything. I'm susceptible to outages being out in the country with many trees around and I love the reliability of a Generac unit backing up my home.
