We recently lost power here near the Atlanta area do to high winds from the hurricane. The power was out in our area for 24hrs. The generator came on as it should and ran the entire time with no problems. We were the only ones with light on the street. A++

7 Year Warranty When we looked at purchasing a generator in March of this year we were told that if we purchased it we would get an additional seven year warranty with $695. The generator was delivered in September because of delays with Generac, which we understand, but now we are being told that because we didn't take delivery in the month that we purchased it that we cannot have the warranty because it was with a third party supplier. I don't think we should be penalized because Generac was unable to supply the generator in a timely manner. Would you please contact me and let me know why my purchase promise is not being honored?

We have had our generator for 2 years now. Installed when we built our 5200 sq ft house. It's only been needed for a few small outages lasting no more than an hour. Well, far East TX here had a massive wind storm rip through our area overnight, causing over 200k people to be without electricity for days. A good portion have been restored. We haven't been so lucky because we are so rural. Not to mention upper 90 degree temps, with 99% humidity, and feels like temps over 110 daily! With that being said, we are on day 6 (of many more) of running our Generac. Only shutting it down every 24 hours to cool and check fluids. Now for the goods! It is running 2 HVAC systems, sub zero double fridge, 4 chest freezers, 2 stand up freezers, and 6 ceiling fans consistantly. Not only that, but we can use the microwave, blow dryer, water heater, dishwasher, washer, dryer, ceiling lights, and many more things without it bogging down. Of the two years we have owned this, I am more than impressed, and very thankful we chose to install this on our home. Thank you for creating such a wonderful product!

Living in the Texas Gulf Coast hurricanes are a natural occurrence. I am a Sr. Regional Product Support Manager for a heavy duty diesel engine manufacture with 45 years experience servicing diesel engines in Oil & Gas, Construction & Industrial, Marine, and Power Generation applications. Our first unit was great but this new unit is AWESOME! The controller has been improved, the unit can now be monitored wireless from anywhere using a cell phone, tablet, or laptop. It is also monitored 24/7/365 by our authorized Generac dealer. The noise level of the unit when running has been reduced substantially. Maintenance items, oil drain, oil filter, air filter, oil fill, dipstick, and battery are all easily accessible. The controller is improved, simple to operate, understand, and is accessible with ease as well. This is a well designed, well built, serviceable unit that is supported by an outstanding dealer with factory trained and certified parts and service personnel offering 24/7/365 service to their customers. And, our Generac is backed by one of the best warranties in the business. It doesn't get any better than this folks.

I just got the home standby generator hooked up. It was tested and started up right away. I so glad I have a generator that I can count of when the power goes out. I would like to thank the company for giving me a list of certified Generac installers. The installer was very professional, arrived on time, was very knowledge, and did and great job.

We recently moved from New Jersey where we had our 1st Generac 22KW generator and were completely pleased with its performance and overall value. Upon moving to Maine we just had another Generac 22KW generator installed and am looking forward to continued outstanding performance. Highly recommended.

Overall this unit met all my expectations. It worked the first time it was turned on transferring to the load correctly and shutting off. The unit looks good next to the house and has very understandable features. The unit has just been installed so will have to see over time about reliability. I would recommend this product to anyone having reliability problems with their local electric utility.

Just had it installed today. Installation went very well, employees were prompt, professional, polite and very pleasant to work with. Explanation of overall features and how the generator works very detailed, yet easy to understand. Will be happy to provide further review after we have had the unit for 1 year.

The unit can not be setup to exercise under load. I like to test the transfer switch function as well as the generator capability to support load for a complete system test. I have been involved in probably at least 100+ standby installations over 40 years and have never had a unit that would not exercise under load. Would certainly like to see a firmware upgrade that allowed for transfer during exercise without requiring a total outage to the home.

Generator has been installed and appears to work well. I have not had the opportunity to power the home in a real loss of power to date. Install team was great to work with. It did take 3 days to install over the course of 6 weeks which is longer than I wanted but at the end of the day they did a good job on install.
