Bought the 22kw generator, and we feel so relieved when the power goes out, that our Generac will start, and transfer power over to the house within seconds. It powers the whole house with ease. The 3 ton central A.C., double wall mounted ovens, all 4 burners on our glass cooktop stove, and well pump. It's like we've never lost power! Also, when utility power comes back, it transfers power back with zero interruption! Love it! Thanks Generac!

I love my new generator. We have only had it for a couple weeks now and it has already done its duty twice. The lights flicker, hardly noticeable, but I go outside and find my generator has kicked in because the power has gone out again as another strong storm goes by. Wisest investment I ever made - I can hardly wait until winter!

That's what you get with a Generac whole house backup generator. 22kw will power everything in the event of an outage, so I don't gave to worry that my family will be cold or hot, won't gave water or lights or a working alarm, or that my basement might flood. The price was very reasonable and the electrician recommended by Generac was very professional and did a very clean installation in short order. I couldn't be more pleased.

Generac with the whole home switch takes all worries away of a power outage, the monthly self check feature keeps the generator ready for the outage and the mobile link keeps all the information in the palm of your hand. we had Elan Electric install our Guardian 24KW and they did a great job, we would highly recommend Generac and Elan Electric.

We live in a cold climate and now that we are old it can be dangerous in sub zero weather to be without power. The last storm we were out 5 days which also means no well pump no water. Huge expenditure with the cost of install for old people. I have not been able to get the wi-fi remote monitor to work as I am not tech savvy, do not understand what they are asking for to be able to follow the instructions, nor can I climb thru the snow banks to get at the generator itself.

The installation and initial burn-in went very well. We ran our ground source heat pump in A/C mode to give it a good test and the 26kw unit was up to the task. We are confident that we can travel without concerns for our pipes freezing while we're away. It could be improved if there were a way on the App to configure it to send email to the owner when a new item is entered into the History Log. As I write this I note that the unit has been off-line via wifi for the past 10 days and I had no idea.

We just completed our installation of our new 22KW standby genset. The other unit the 16KW was installed in 2009 and still runs fine however, out over all load/demand grew to the point that the 16kw unit was struggling with the load - which is amazing that it still supported over its capacity. They improved the design - adding a skirt for looks and over all I am impressed with the performance of both units. We reallocated the 16kw unit to our garage. It is so nice not to have to worry about going outside to hook up a portable generator. Due to a neurological condition, it is very hard/impossible for me to pull start a generator. Now I don’t have to worry about it. The power goes out and the Generac starts all by itself! Love it!

I dealt with power outages frequently so adding a whole house generator was a must when I built my new home. I moved in on a Friday and storms came through and I was without power from Saturday to Tuesday. BEST INVESTMENT EVER. And I am not mechanical but wanted to give the generator a break while at work on Monday. It was so simple to shut it down and reset it when I returned. Just the push of a button and life was powered back up. It does an awesome job of powering the house without any effort on my part

Just had the Generac model 7226, 18 kW home standby generator installed and am very pleased with it. The one small drawback is the Status LED indicator light is on the right side of the unit, away from my street view. The unit should be designed to move the Status LED indicator light to the left side of the unit if needed to view it from the street.
