Vital was very professional and knowledgeable. They met every requirement we needed and were prompt with concise and accurate information about our Generac. They came out to evaluate our needs with an initial assessment and finished the project 2 weeks later in one day. The two weeks wait was due to our county inspection process. We still have final county inspection but I don't see any issue arising. We are very happy with the total package and will elect to purchase the maintenance package as well.

The cost of a backup generator buys you peace of mind and comfort. That only works if the generator is reliable and easy to use. Let’s face it, my old gasoline powered generator is reliable IF I perform all my maintenance regularly at 1/8th the price. BUT... I don’t do the maintenance, I don’t want to haul it in and out of the garage, hookup all my extension cords in the huricaine, and haul gasoline if you can find it. A Generac whole home generator is always reliable and hands free. Now that is peace of mind.

I purchased a 22KW whole house Generac one year ago. It starts up every Tuesday for 15 minutes for lubrication and battery charge. You don't even notice that. The power has gone out three times and the transfer switch works so fast you don't even know the power went out for a split second that the only electrical device that needs resetting is the microwave. I don't have to reset a dozen or so clocks. Live in the boonies near the Olympic National forest where wind damage to trees and power poles knock out power for up to 3 days at a time. Now I don't have to worry. General also has the best people they recommend to install the equipment. That is a big plus. Thanks Generac for making our lives better and safer!

Did a lot of research and decided on Generac. I am chairman of the board of our local power provider. I had our our staff spec out my size needs, based on my peak usage for the past 6 months. I bought a unit much larger than recommended. When final hook up was done(very expensive) we could not even test the unit because a starter battery was not included. Then the state electrical inspector and my local professional electrician informed me that the breaker in the unit was abou 1/2 of what was needed to power this unit. I still do not have it on line. Very disappointed at this time.

Purchased a 22KW unit online and saved around $400.00. Decided to purchase a GenPad to mount the generator on. This made site preparation and installation easier. Our generator started right up (on propane) and runs quietly. We are very pleased with the generator and now have a sense of security when the next power outage occurs!

We had the unit installed to replace an older outdated unit. This new unit was powerful and installed in 4 hours! We were hit by Hurricane Irma two days later and of course lost power. The unit cranked right up and provided the whole house with all the power we needed. It ran both large a/c units and the water pump along with everything else necessary to be comfortable. It runs very quiet for such a powerful unit. I recommend this unit with no reservations. It ran for three days straight before the power was restored. Life saver! thank you.

With the frequency of power outages that we experience, although short lived makes this a wonderful way to proceed "as if nothing had happened". We have Medical equipment that needs to be active 24/7 and this generator setup alleviates all of my anxiety. With the Propane Conversion Option, even in a catastrophe, where natural gas was cut off, we would continue to run without a worry. Thanks Generac!

We were having numerous power outages and with my wife using medical equipment through the night. I would have to get up and start up my portable generator. The installation went rather smoothly with the contractor we had install it. We have during twice during outages. We couldn't even feel the transition of power. It is a great comfort just to know that it is there and ready for any catastrophe. We choose to go with the new 22's unit.

It is hard to review a product that was installed on April 4, 2023 and still not operational. There have been multiple delays (installation, correcting gas line, failing electrical inspection and a faulty part). In addition, they get in no hurry to address these problems with 2 to 3 weeks in between each issue. 2 1/2 months later we have what is essentially a very expensive lawn ornament. I am hoping that we might have a working generator by no later than fall at this rate. Very frustrated and completely unsatisfied with not only Generac themselves, but their approved installer as well

I have an associates degree and one of the guys helping with installation is an electrical engineer with 17 patents to his name as well as having worked for NASA . No so much me but i thought this other guy could get generator up and running. What a poor startup menu and instructional manual you have. Beyond frustrated.
