We just completed our installation of the 26 kw whole house generator. All of the work was done by Integrated Home Solutions. I can't say enough positive things about this team. They were so professional, efficient and neat. I would highly recommend this company for your Generac installation.

Because we live in Connecticut where Eversource is a terrible supplier of power since every major storm knocks our power out for about 6 days, this unit has been very reliable since we had it installed in 2010. We have had three power outages of 6 days in that time, the latest from Tropical Storm Isaias which knocked out power for over 700,000 customers this past week. The generator started and ran for 6 days with no problems as it always has, powering 80% of our home with a steady, even supply of power. We have two propane tanks holding just over 200 lbs. of propane so the generator can run for 6 days without a refill. After six days we get the oil changed and the tanks refilled so it can go further, but usually right when we do that the power is restored. So this generator has been perfect for us. The unit has been hit by lightning once (we live on a 600 foot mountain on the top of it) so the motherboard has been replaced, and the engine recently needed to have its rubber oil seals replaced as it was leaking a little oil, but besides that the unit has held up tremendously well. If we need to replace it we will definitely buy Generac again as we have many times over saved a lot of money by not needing to go to a hotel when our power is out since we live on well water and without water - you cannot stay home very long even if you stock up on it.

I have only had this generator for 3 months but it has already worked flawlessly during a 90 minute power outage. I got the cold weather kit (Chicago winters) and the mobile link app which sends status updates to your cell phone/tablet/pc so you can check on status while you are away from home. Just make sure you hire a professional who has good reviews for installing these since there are some complexities. I also had the gas company install a larger meter since in the winter with furnaces running there would not be enough gas volume to power the generator and two furnaces simultaneously (just a phone call and $100 to gas company). Generator looks good and runs more quietly that I expected (about same level as a lawn mower). After incurring $20k in water damage from a recent storm when the sump backup battery ran out of power (18 hour outage) I thought this would be a good investment.

I had a 16kw generator that got damaged by lightening and replaced it with the new 22KW model. It is quite an improvement. I love the way you can disconnect loads. This is great for me because I have AC and would love to automatically disable it if necessary. The installation was easy and the appearance is great. I have it out by the pool house and can barely hear it running Highly recoomended!

No need to worry about power outages anymore. Esposito's Generator Solutions did the sizing, install and configuration. They were excellent - handled everything from beginning to end. Great product!! with its intelligent load balancing so virtually thw whole house has electricity.

The crew from our Dealer, Generator Works were easy to deal with and they coordinated effectively with the local utilities and natural gas supplier. The disconnects and service upgrades were conducted with minimal out of service time. The total time to install was under 6 hours including site prep and cleanup.

We needed a backup generator for our home, and when the power was out we were happy to hear it hum. However, after the first use of this product it broke down and the wires were fried. After consulting with customer service, they said the warranty wouldn’t cover it, they blamed lightning for causing the problem. Then they sent a bill to cover the diagnostic cause even though we already knew what the problem was. I would not recommend using their services at all, unless you want poor quality coverage and usage.

I'll have to write another review after our first power outage. Just had the unit installed and can't comment on too much yet but it does give us some peace of mind and just a bit of worry that it will actually do what it's supposed to do. Chris, our startup rep, was so knowledgeable - I doubt we'll remember 3/4 of what he told us but if we need him, he can walk us through whatever it needs. Shouldn't even say this but I'm almost hoping for a power outage!

Samuel and James from Holly Electric did a great job throughout the install process. Explained the operation once it was up and running. Heather did a great job of keeping me updated through the entire process from quote to install. This unit replace an smaller generator that was only able to run a few appliances and lights. Nice to have whole house comfort now. Have a 250 gallon propane tank to ensure we can weather through a hurricane or sever storm.

Have had this unit for 2 years and other than testing for 5 minutes once a week, it has run once for less than 10 seconds. It gives us the security of knowing, if and when we need it, it will work! The BUT is it is LOUD. Regardless of what you are told, your neighbors are going to know when it is testing. Not sure how Generac can address it, but hopefully they will come up with a solution to damping the noise on future models. Bottomline, we love the security it gives us and highly recommend this unit.
