I have had a long history with Generac emergency power systems from my 40 years as a General Supt of Power Operations in NYC Transit. Our crews started using portable trailer mounted units to supply critical power to train signal circuits and other necessary power needs in our substations. The reliability of these machines made a positive impact on Transit by reducing train delays and ensuring the people of NYC experienced as little delay as possible, in their commuting during local power outages. Knowing this, when I retired and moved to rural Hubertus Wisconsin, Generac was my first and only choice when I decided to have emergency power installed. My new unit is quiet and now, with winter storms looming, I guess it will get a workout when needed. I am talking on Amateur radio each day, and several "hams" have started the process of having Generac systems installed in their homes. One fellow in Connecticut was fed up with the days and yes, weeks, long outages so he purchased his Generac which is to be installed very soon. I guess one can say we are satisfied customers and are thankful for the quality products offered by your company!

We had a similar Generac Generator in our previous home and upon moving into our new home in a new state where storms and power outages are more common, we naturally decided to once again add a Generac Generator. Our experience with these products has been very satisfying and makes us feel more confident and protected. Very pleased with the product and that this company stands behind the product and supports their installers.

This will be our second generator. We had one put in the house we sold, it came in handy a few times. We lost power a few times and it started right up. Since then, we built a new house, way out in the sticks and had the same generator installed. This area is prone to outages. I don't have to worry about losing power with this generator. Thanks, Sandy F

Had a Guardian 24kw generator installed about 1 yr ago by Ambrose Electric. Installation went very smoothly and has a very acceptable appearance. Initial oil change and service check is simple. Everything is easy to get at. We have had two short term power outages since installation and everything works pefectly. Our house is total electric and we have no problem living normally during outages. Well pump, water heater, clothes dryer and electric heat all operate normally although we do take care to limit burner/oven usage on the stove if the electric heat is in use, for example. The Generac handles it all with no strain. My one complaint is with the exercise program. It runs for only five minutes under no load. This causes moisture in the air to condense into the oil. Particularly in the winter. I spent 50 yrs as a Diesel and heavy equipment mechanic. Moisture in oil is never acceptable, despite what Generac claims. Originally set to exercise weekly I changed it to monthly and on those days I trip the main breaker to put the unit under load for 30-60 minutes. Unit is exercised and the oil stays moisture free. All-in-all an excellent unit and it is great not having to get up in the middle of a winter night, or any other time, and go hook up a portable generator.

After many power outages in our neighborhood I decided to get the Generac backup generator. Not only were we out of power but also water because we have a well. There are many mature trees in our older neighborhood and everytime there is a storm there is a big chance the trees will take out a power line. Time to rest easy.

We purchased a Generac generator after looking at all the options available and found Generac had the best reputation and quality for the money. Well your generator has now been through two hurricanes. Hurricane Sally and Hurricane Delta. We want to thank you for providing us with a superior product and American Air Systems for a professional installation! Generac has made us feel more safe and secure while dealing with the aftermath of these hurricanes. Our home is a home even with prolonged power outages and we made a wise investment! Thank you again

Our electrician - a true perfectionist, and among the most honorable men we've ever met - has installed hundreds of whole-house generators, and won't recommend anything other than a Generac. He swears by their reliability, quality electrical components, sturdy and rust-free enclosures, durable engines, and the clean current they provide. During installation, he opened the generator and pointed out all the elements of Generac's thoughtful, maintenance-friendly design. All in all, it's obvious why Generac is the dominant player in whole-house generators.

We live on Long Island and this year we had another major outage from a hurricane. It wasnt as bad as Sandy when parts of our neighborhood were out for 2 weeks but it pushed us over the edge to finally invest in the generator. So far really happy with the product and the people from Mohrmann Electric who installed it did a terrific job especially since the Town we live in is difficult with permitting, historic district, etc. Highly recommend to anyone considering a standby generator...

Installation was completed a week ago just ahead of a heavy wet snowfall. We wondered if we would be protected if the power failed and woke the next morning to hear the motor humming along. Power was lost during the night but the generator never missed a beat powering up immediately and giving us a welcome sound. Peace of mind is worth the investment.

Just got our standby generator installed. Was very pleased with the service and after the load testing my 22KW unit running my whole home. I have (2) AC Heat Pumps,Hot Tube and all electric appliances. Unit runs at 50% so we still have plenty of capacity. Will have to watch my neighbors to make sure they aren’t running cords over lol.
