I live in a rural area that has suffered multiple power outages during the 11 years that I have lived here lasting from a few minutes to almost 4 days in length. Last year we had a 39 hour outage from a storm, so we paid $26,000 for a Generac Generator. 3 months later we had another outage. The generator went on and lasted 20 minutes, then had a catastrophic failure, spurting oil out everywhere. It had to be replaced with a new generator, AFTER our power was back on, after being off for 24 hours. Very Unhappy.

Our unit was put into service today. It tested out perfectly, and handled both of our home’s AC units running at the same time without flinching. Having this asset will be a great stress reducer during hurricane season and when Texas gets its occasional strong winter cold spell.

Less than 2 years old still under warranty and has not worked in 3 months. Every time service tech comes it’s not covered and still not working. Last year during hurricane it stopped working and last 3 months still not working, but cost me over a thousand $$$ for service calls - new battery& cables -circuit board due to a lizard ( how -isn’t transfer panel weather tight ) engine lifter’s adjustment. Why does it take 2 weeks for parts

Our 26KW generac was delivered and installed May 16th. It ran 3 test cycles and then we had a 90 minute power outage. We immediately noticed oil spillage all over our freshly poured concrete pad. We open the Generac and there was frsh oil all inside. We contacted our dealer and they diagnosed that the seal was improperly installed from the factory. A few later, the technician took everything apart and fix the issue during about 3 hours. We purposely ran the Generac for another hour to ensure there was no oil leakage. We accepted that there may a bit of residue. The machine ran other test cycle and there is oil spillage again. We are so disappointed that our machine seems to be a lemon and has endured this much work and it is barely 1 month old. Now what ? please help

Oaks' team made the pre-prep totally effort free. They did it all. The interaction with my gas company, permits, everything, my efforts were zero. The installation took 6 hours and their team leader was great. I don't know when I have ever spent such an amount of money with a perfect result.

Installation was neat and efficient even following 10” of snow. Installers were courteous and informative. They used drop cloths to keep all floor surfaces safe. And even shoveled snow when necessary. Following installation there was a review of equipment and time for questions. A test was run so that I could hear the generator in operation. Installers made sure pilots on furnace and water heater were lit. A technician came by following the installation to help me download the mobile link.Today, as promised, my generator tested itself. We had Switch Electric, LLC perform the installation. They came highly recommended and I can see why. The installation went flawlessly, their explanation of the system was easy to understand and the product works incredibly well. We typically lose power here in our area at least three to four times per year and were tired of hooking up a manual generator to the house during those windy/rainy times. Thank goodness we now have the peace of mind that it will happen automatically.
