Finally made the leap and had the 22K installed for our home. Product appears to be well made and will provide all the necessary power to keep our large home up and running. We have required durable medical equipment and power is a must!! Installer was knowledgeable and meticulous. Two transfer switches, generator and one power modulator as well as buried power and gas lines and you can't tell he was ever here. Generator ran its weekly test right on schedule. We are ready for "old man winter"

Product looks nice, installation went smoothly, worked with my schedule to get it installed and start-up. It was started up this morning ran smooth and quiet technician explained the operation and set up of weekly test schedule. Overall satisfied with installation and startup. Price seemed a little high. We now have a backup power which is what we were after no more outages to worry about!!

Installed the 22kw whole house transfer switch generator at the completion of the construction of our new home. First time having a system like this to keep the power on. It sure adds happiness to our family living in Florida where high humidity and high temperatures during Hurricanes when the power is out will keep us comfortable.

My area has experienced several power outages over the last couple of years. My Generac will ensure that the heat stays on--so no frozen pipes in the winter--and that there will be sufficient electricity for all my needs whatever the season. The generator looks good, has locks which prevent the top from blowing open in heavy winds and also prevent tampering. The installation was efficient, neat, and totally professional. Generac also has a wonderful Customer Support Team.

GenTec located in Crete, IL did a thorough, clean and professional install. Starting with Tina in the office and Steve getting a timely quote to Steve Jr. and his partner on the install. Transfer switch mounted in basement , not on outside like other companies suggested and gas line was tapped in the basement as well. No unsightly lines running on the outside. If my 18 kw Generac is as good as GenTec install, I will be an extremely satisfied customer. Thanks to Steve and all his crew.

Generator has been installed and appears to work well. I have not had the opportunity to power the home in a real loss of power to date. Install team was great to work with. It did take 3 days to install over the course of 6 weeks which is longer than I wanted but at the end of the day they did a good job on install.

Purchased from Rescom Electric-Prairieville, LA. Installers arrived right on time and did a nice, neat job. They came back promptly the next day to test run and explain the remote monitoring. The system worked as described during the test. Living in Louisiana, hurricanes are a way of life and I was tired of fighting portable generators. My subdivision is full of Generac products and everyone seems satisfied. Glad I have it, but hope I do not have to use very often!

We live in SW Louisiana and decided on the Generac 22kw back up generator primarily because of name recognition in reliability and its sleek authoritative appearance. To stay ahead of the hurricane season peak, we thought it was prudent to have our portable generators serviced. When we were told one of our existing portable generators needed to be replaced it was a no brainer in deciding to opt for a whole house stand by. We also had just recently experienced an unusual several hours long outage with our electrical utility company and the inconvenience was fresh on our minds. So we made the decision and the unit was installed just two weeks before hurricane Laura struck. No one could have imagined we would be hit with a category 2-3, almost 70 miles inland with such veracity. The power grid was decimate. And when power went down at 3:30 a.m. on the morning of the storm we were ready. The swap by the transfer switch was the length of our outage, which was a matter of seconds while the rest of our neighbors endured a seven day outage in our subdivision and many others are still without power on day 11. Our whole house stand by generator has already proven itself to be well worth the investment with reliable and quality power generation. The concern of unexpected outages is a thing of the past. And as a retiree of 28 years with an electrical utility company, I have confidence in the safety the automatic transfer switch provides for the men and women who work to restore the electricity to our homes. Had a 7 kw Mil Bank generator for 11 yrs started to have a a lot of trouble with it they went out of business so nobody works on them , purchased a 14kw generac just had it installed today 2/8/22 so have to wait and see how it works, the company that installed it did a excellent job.
