Just had this installed at my home. Todd Eppley/Darien Generators did a great job installing and was able to coordinate all the moving parts to get this done in a smooth fashion without much headache to me. He answered all my questions and look forward to having this protection in place. I recommend his services highly.

Hard to write a review on something just installed, but I can say my installation crew was of the highest caliber in terms of customer service and knowledge of product and various electrical scenarios. We went with the Guardian 22Kw for a home with essentially two small separate living quarters - (ie dual electric boxes) and a solar set up. I feel very confident that the Generac will serve us successfully when the power goes down. It started right up and switched over seemlessly. It is not bad to look at either when one considers the alternative of another random TX electrical outage!

Living down south we deal with storms half the year. I was tired of pulling out a portable generator and having it not start much of the time. I had this installed and a week later we had a storm which knocked out the electric at 2 am. It was nice to hear my generator kick on and the hum from it put my right back to sleep. Best investment for my home.

Overall great features. Love it. Only problem is unclear directions on menu setup. Needs to be easily planned out directions from Generac, more clear and concise. That’s the only problem I had. Would recommend and would buy again. Called in to customer service and Wendy was a great help.

We lost power for four days during Irma and ran off a portable generator that was wired into my panel. It also ran off my propane tank so it was a pretty good deal--didn't need to get gas, etc. However, I lost an electrical device or two and was concerned about the bigger appliances (refrigerator, A/C) having problems in the future so decided to upgrade. Other than a ding in the lid (which we didn't recognize until the electrician unpacked the item, long after shipping--how would my wife be able to inspect this upon delivery, especially since the GenPad was on TOP of the generator on delivery?), the unit was pristine. Installation was done via a local electrician who has done much work on my home over the 20 years I have been here, and my gas company handled the gas hookup. I probably did not need 22KW, but it was only a few hundred dollars more than a 17KW or 20KW, so decided what the heck. Very happy to be protected this upcoming hurricane season!

The 22KW provided the "extra" power headroom I was looking for. With both a 5Ton A/C and a large media room, the extra output was welcome. The bonus with this unit is that, while costing only a few dollars more, it uses less NG or LP fuel then either the Generac 16 or 20KW units. Living in the Midwest, the Cold Start package was a welcome addition. Overall, a win-win solution.

Generac 24KW ATS I am so glad that I had my generator installed this year because the 24KW unit was available. I took advantage of the MobileLink WiFi which is great because with any status change, emails are sent to me and my dealer. Peace of mind knowing the unit is operational and ready! The Tank Utility Monitor is a real plus because at a glance of my phone, I know the fuel level of my propane tank. Sweet! The Smart Management Modules really are smart making whole house transfer a simple hands off operation.

The product is just what we needed in light of hurricanes and winter freezes. It gives us the confidence, safety, and dependability to stay in our home when a weather event or line failure occurs. Generator Industries did a great job on installation and startup.

I placed my order on Nov. 6, 2020 with Corbin Electric for a 22kw backup generator. They took a 5k deposit and told me there was a backlog of orders and my instal would not be until 3/21. March 2021 came and went with no word from Corbin Electric. I contacted them and they said they had sent a email about install being pushed back to July 2021, turns out they had my email Address wrong (possible clerical error as my email address never changed). On July 9th their installer arrived to install the gas line for the generator. I was advised that I would have a pressure inspection with the city on 7/16/21. Their installer didn’t have what he needed to complete the job on 7/9 and told me to Call the office to get someone back before 7/16 so my inspection could proceed. They didn’t come back until until 7/16 and changed my inspection to 7/21/21. Immediately upon passing inspection I notified Corbin electric it had passed and was ready to be turned on. They said they would get back to me with a date to initialize the generator and do the orientation. After a week or so they scheduled me for initialization and orientation on August 16th. August 16th arrived and I FINALLY have a generator I can use now. This whole process took way too long and Corbin Electric never even secured the generator to the concrete pad I had installed which their installer told me they would do when I inquired. While I haven’t needed to use the generator yet, it appears well built. I would caution anyone using Corbin Electric to be prepared for very long delays from the time they take your money until the time you have an operation generator. In my case from 11/6/20 to 8/16/21.

Unbelievable! Power goes out, count to 6, and pow! You have power! The entire house! We turned on electric dryer, electric oven and A/C unit all at the same time to test and nothing failed! The lights didn't even flicker! Not to mention 3 refrigerators were plugged in as well. You can't go wrong with Generac! Put piece of mind in your future!!! Thank you!
