I am very pleased with the quality of construction, functionality, features, appearance and dependability of this product. As a home owner and retired general contractor who received installation certification on Generac several years ago, I already knew before purchasing this product that it would thoroughly satisfy my expectations for quality and dependability.

3 days after our generator was installed we lost power for 7 days due to a snowstorm, Many of our neighbors left their homes until power could be restored. Thanks to our Generac generator we were able to stay in our house and care for our family and pets and our chickens. The best purchase we have made for our home and family !!

Installation was completed and unit tested at 10 am on 7/20/18. Literally minutes after, it came on automatically to the surprise of the installer who rechecked everything and stated "it's acting like you have a real power outage". And checking the neighbor's houses and calling Duke Energy, that was the fact. It ran for 6.5 hours and functioned flawlessly from startup to shutdown. It really saved the day. It was an unbelievable coincidence but gave me instant confidence in the product. With temperatures in the mid to upper 80's, this really saved the day and made me so glad I decided to purchase it and even gladder that it was installed and operational just in time.

We had the 22kW unit installed almost a year ago after suffering through 3 days of 95+ degree heat without power. The installation went very smooth. The electrical contractors were knowledgeable and easy to work with. During the past year the generator has performed it's weekly exercise cycle without a hitch. This morning we had our first power failure since the installation. The generator automatically kicked on and we had power after 15 seconds or so. Utility power was restored 2 hours later and the generator performed perfectly during the outage. The only issue we had was when the A/C kicked on the lights started pulsing and the generator itself was pulsing. I sent a text to our contractor and in less than 20 minutes the tech was here to adjust the NG flow/pressure. Great service! I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants peace of mind that comes with knowledge that you will have a continuous power supply when bad weather hits.

Well our Generac 22K generator is ready every second every hour of everyday 24/7 peace of mind. Completely satisfied with our generator, comes on once a week for 10 min to do a self test, great feature. We did lose power this winter season and just like generac said the unit will kick on in 10 seconds. Restored power to the house!!!! At that point I said it was worth every penny. Living on the East Coast of Florida for the past 5 years has exposed us to 2 hurricanes. We decided to get rid of a portable gas generator that could only run our refrigerators and some portable fans. We choose a 22KW Generac whole house generator, which was just installed.
