Guardian 22 KW GenSet plus 200A ATS installed by Doug Williford and Sons at lake house in Sabine County Texas on 2/28/2022 with no problems. Propane System installed next day. First test came a few days later when we lost utility power for 30 minutes. Gen Set started up and powered house just fine. Shut down as expected when power was restored. Great addition to the lake house. Only issue is it took 10 months from time of order date to install date. Suggest you start the process real early. Doug Williford and Sons was great to work with.

Been without power in past and had to get portable generators out, run drop cords and decide what to run. Now when the power is out, I just sit back and wait a minute the Generac starts. up and all is back to normal. Already experienced a power outage since I've had it installed. It was nice sitting back and life was restored to normal without leaving my chair. Knowing everything is going to be alright is a great peace of mind. Highly recommend especially if you have medical equipment that needs power like me. Go the extra step and raise it up off the ground like you see in pictures, will make it easier to service and keep water out during most storms. My set up powers the house and shop also with one unit.

Since my husband passed away, there are so many things that I have to take care of or worry about. I would often worry about what I would do if the power went out. Since I live on a small farm, I need to be able to care for my animals. I did have a portable generator but I could never pull start it. And there was not an option to put on an electric start. Plus if I could get it started, then I would have to run extension cords to power things like the refrigerator or freezer or pellet stove for heat in the winter. I still couldn’t run my well pump to water my animals. So I decided to have a whole home generator installed. It was the best decision that I made. Now when the power goes out, I don’t worry about having to pull start a generator or what appliances to plug in or how long is the power going to be out for. It’s actually the last thing I worry about. Having the whole home generator gives me peace of mind. I LOVE it and would recommend it to anyone.

From the beginning of the process to today’s delivery, everyone at Electrical System of Maine (ESM) in Auburn has been great to work with. A very professional but down to earth group of people. Having done my homework I’m sure I got the best deal with this company for such a high quality product! And as a promise to them….I suggest that their boss/owner hook them up with home generators for them and their families (take care of the ones who take care of you/your business)!!

It's hard for me to write a review. Only had the unit for about 4 weeks and LUCKILY we haven't had any outages. Things I do like: Relatively small foot-print Clean asthetics Visible stand-by light Things I don't care for: I still can't get my phone connected to the mobile link App Help with the mobile connectivity would be nice. 🤷‍♂️

I live in an older subdivision built many years ago with above ground power running between large fenced yards. This means trees are never trimmed. A storm and we loose power. Wind? Power loss. A calm, cloudless sunny day? Those too thanks to squirrels not understanding transformers. It was late this spring after my third outage in two months, two over 24 hours, that I finally pulled the plug. Install of our 4022 wasn’t until September by Tek Electric, and as predicted the install kept the power stable for months. The first outage was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, 20 minutes before we were supposed to get on the road for a 10 hour drive. Pre-generator, I’d have considered canceling the drive and at a minimum, pre-emptively emptied the fridge and freezer into the garbage since I had a neighbor putting garbage out on Friday. As it was, I just texted the neighbor and asked if he could shut the generator off for a bit to cool down if it was still running in 24 hours. I only needed the generator for just over 2 hours, which I was able to confirm down the road with MobileLink. A much more pleasant experience than either dumping my food or delaying the Thanksgiving drive.

New install, so , I don't have any comments operating experience. Dealer appears to have done a very good job on the install. The installers took time to explain function of the system (transfer switch and generator). When running the generator in manual mode, I was expecting it to be a quieter.

We live in a rural area and having a whole home generator gives us the piece of mind we need for power outages. This model gives us more than we ever hoped as far as ease of use and power management. The self test is quiet. The LED light makes it easy to check on the generator status. The aluminum housing is durable, yet a color that goes with any house colors/styles.

Hughes Electric & HVAC installed this generator and did a fantastic job. They even stored the generator until it could be installed. Everything they did for us is so much appreciated. We were so impressed with this company that we let them install 2 new Trane units. We lost power 2 days ago and the generator worked great.

Installed 22kw Generac 4 years ago. 1st two years no power outages, generator only ran in exercise mode. 3rd year numerous power outages, generator worked without a flaw. Powered entire house, neighbors stopped and looked at generator and the power it was generating. Two neighbors have since bought the same unit. Generac makes a good product that lives up to it advertisement.
