Water flows into the dust filter.
I have been using it for 4 months. When I do a lot of laundry, the water flows back into the dust filter and water accumulates inside the dust filter. I am wondering what to do about it.

Time saving!
We bought this about two months ago and it's a good time saver. The only problem is the drying time. It doesn't always get everything dry. So some loads have too run longer.

Will definitely not be buying anymore LG products
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought four months ago and have waited a month to have it repaired. I've been without a unit for over a month due to LG, not able to provide the parts needed to repair the unit

High maintenance/poor performance
We have owned our LG washer/dryer for just over 2 years. I was attracted to the design and size since I have a small laundry area and I only do laundry for 3 people. We have owned several LG products and have always thought they were good quality. This, however, is not worth the price. A few months after buying it, a load would take all night long (8 hour) to complete and still would not be dry. After doing some research, I cleaned the machine inside and out and it started working better. But it seems to require this maintenance every 6 months. Highly do not recommend.

Excellent so far
Bought this at the beginning of January and have done 23 loads so far and it is fantastic as long as you clean the lint filters. Also the unit is super efficient and uses a fraction of the electricity compared to my old washer and dryer. The combo unit allowed me to put a full laundry/pantry cupboard above the unit. I highly recommend it.

Looks great, saves space and saves on work.
Mine is 2 1/5 years old. It looks great and has done a good job until recently. It often leaves the clothes extremely wet (and was set to dry). Load is small and very light soil. I have set it a second time to to dry and so far it does. I like the convenience of the combo. But am concerned on the not drying lately. I wish we'd gotten a book with it. I will search for one on line maybe a fix.

Not happy with it
replaced a separate washer & dryer, have a small home, I have to say if I had know about how this one works there is no way I would have bought it. I would go with a stackable set. The lint collection is horrible, I have to scrap my finger on the outer section to get the lint out of there, this is in addition to their lint collector. I worry it may be a fire hazard. It never seems to total dry towels, sometimes jeans. Granted I don't sort my loads. I've put a dryer sheet in sometimes so I have to pause it, it then adds 10 minutes to cycle. I get it I opened the door and the temp. dropped....
Hi, Jp. Thank you for sharing your experience with your LG washer‑dryer combo. Your description of the lint collection process, the need to reach into the outer section, the concern about buildup, and the difficulty fully drying towels or heavier items gives a clear picture of what you’ve been dealing with while using the LG unit. Your note about pausing the cycle for a dryer sheet and the added time afterward also helps highlight how the system has been operating for you. Perfect love it
I am very pleased with the with the washer and dryer combo. I use the dry more option and it completely every time, even a large comforter. IM in the process of building a mother in law flat it will be perfect for it. I won't need the 220 volt outlet and no dryer vent.
Hey there! We appreciate your feedback on this washer-dryer combo review! We know your mother-in-law will love the convenience and ease of use of this model. Terrible machine and faulty design!
This machine does NOT work! As stated by many, the lint removal is not only difficult but it is impossible to remove it from the condenser and further slows down the drying process. You can NOT access that area, without disassembling the whole machine! There have been so many other issues. A leak has developed, hinges of the lower valve door have broken, since they are so flimsy and cheap, the top compartment lint filter had to be changed several times and on and on! I can not believe that LG has brought this faulty design to the market! Shame on LG!!!

No good
We bought this machine in NNanaimo BC last year and it has been nothing but frustrating, it takes very long, and requires cleaning thi and that otherwise it doesn't perform. Like when you go get your clothes after 5 hours and still wet.. definitely not for a busy family like ours..
