[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit about 6 months ago and trust me I was skeptical! However this is the best appliance u have purchased ever! If used correctly you have washed and dried clothes in just a few hours! I learned alot in the last 6 months...small loads are key and dry much faster. However I have washed and dried large comforters and pillows before and it did gemreat just needed to dry for a while. The clothes feel wet when you touch them after it dries...don't worry and just put them out and they instantly feel dry! I fill the reservoirs every once in a while and it automatically dispenses the amount you want which is a huge plus! No more dryer sheets and clothes don't have static! You do have to wash the filter every few months or the dry cycle will stay on and won't recognize that the load is dry...lesson learned. It's a great machine I actually had a sevice call done because of not washing my filter and LG came out to show me how to wash and gave me a new one which was amazing! I also had the pleasure of meeting the engineer behind the machine which was sort of fun. Anyways if you constantly forget your clothes in washer and have to re wash your loads and dewrinkle I would highly suggest this unit! It's saves space and looks amazing and does it's job! I'll never go back...combo forever!

I am very pleased with the with the washer and dryer combo. I use the dry more option and it completely every time, even a large comforter. IM in the process of building a mother in law flat it will be perfect for it. I won't need the 220 volt outlet and no dryer vent.

Had it for 1 month and it's the worst machine ever. It look like the perfect solution on paper but it's been a nightmare. First, it started drying forever stuck on 4 minutes. Repairman was sent out and said don't use detergent packs (even though it says they're ok in the manual). No improvement switching to liquid detergent. LG tech was sent out. Replaced the main board and sensor. No real improvement. This week it ran a load of towels and said on "4 minutes" drying for 12 hrs. I stopped it and the towels were like cardboard with a few damp spots. Totally ruined. Yesterday it stopped drying and now has a lot of moisture or something in the lint filter. We're a family of 5 so no washer/dryer is a huge problem. Asking for refund. I don't have the time to attempt another one. Run away,

This machine does NOT work! As stated by many, the lint removal is not only difficult but it is impossible to remove it from the condenser and further slows down the drying process. You can NOT access that area, without disassembling the whole machine! There have been so many other issues. A leak has developed, hinges of the lower valve door have broken, since they are so flimsy and cheap, the top compartment lint filter had to be changed several times and on and on! I can not believe that LG has brought this faulty design to the market! Shame on LG!!!

Realistically, a load of jeans, towels or bedding takes 5-6 hours to wash and dry. Definitely NOT efficient. The items usually feel slightly damp and are often wrinkled too. I do not care for the steam dry. I'm grateful we kept our regular, old, separate washer and dryer because I often end up using that set along with this combo machine to keep up with laundry for my family of 7. Lint builds up along the rubber door seal which gets everywhere when unloading, and is such a hassle to clean I cannot locate a cycle for only Rinse & Spin. Space saving, yes, and that's my only positive review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my new LG for 6 weeks. It has met all my expectations. I have Wi-Fi capability but have not used that feature yet. It automatically dispenses detergent and softener. I probably have been using too much detergent until now as I filled the automatic dispenser on first wash and have yet to refill.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very skeptical before buying this combo machine. But after knowing it was new technology, I am happy to have it. It's a ventless design, which i love. Fit in my tight laundry space. It didn't need 240v, so i didn't spend money on an electrician. It's been working really well. You don't need to move wet stuff to a dryer. You can just wait until it dries. Perm and press function not so good. I personally take them out before drying completely and hang dry like shirts and pants.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first unit I purchased back in January 2024 was defective and did not work correctly. It did a very poor job at drying clothes. After a visit from LG, the product was determined to be defective and LG replaced the unit at no cost to me. I can confirm that the new unit works perfectly. If judging from the new unit alone, I will say that the new unit is one of the most amazing washer / dryers I've had. It is very efficient, requiring only a 110 v plug and does not require a separate dryer vent. I recommend using 'AI Wash + Dry', this is able to effectively wash and dry clothes, and pretty much any type of clothes. The cycles are customized based on what you're washing (towels vs clothes vs. linens). Large / bulky items do not seem to be a problem for this unit either. I have not yet even needed to use a second dry cycle. So, I'm giving this unit a 4 star rating. When it works, it's 5 stars. When it doesn't it's probably 2 stars at best. I'm hopeful this new unit will continue to work correctkly.

I've had this machine for about a month. With a family of 6, it has to perform, and so far has done so. After using these combo units on a trip to japan, I've been waiting for them to be available from a reliable maker in the US. The good. For most loads, the AI wash/dry cycle gets clothes clean and dry in between 2 and 2.5 hours. Not having to switch machines makes this really flexible for busy days, overnights etc. No more forgotten loads in the washer that need to be rewashed. Capacity is great, but you can't stuff it full. It takes 4+hrs if totally loaded (think shoved in to fit). Leave 1/3 to 1/2 the space empty and you'll be happy. Built in storage/dispenser for detergent and softener keeps things neat and easy. The machine is quiet. The app is intuitive, and has some fun features like changing the cycle complete tune as well. Very attractive unit. Single dial interface works well. Lots of options if you like them. 120v power and no vent is AWESOME. Flexible placement, no clogged dryer vents, no associated fire hazard, and uses so much less electricity. We have solar so our overall use is monitored daily, and it has dropped considerably given we run 5 to 10 loads a week. In CT power is expensive, this makes a huge difference and is overlooked by many. Very gentle on clothes, less shrinking, less color fading, comes out feeling "different" but probably because they are dry but not desert hot/dry and over worked. The different. You'll likely need to change your laundry approach. Instead of doing loads all weekend, back to back switching machines constantly (ie a load is ready every 60min once you get the process moving), daily laundry is better, and I've found much easier. No big piles to fold, kids can run a load on their own with 2 button pushes, and the whole process is just smoother. I really like the change it pushed. Some may not. The things I don't love. Minor but a few. First, the lint filter is on top of the machine, so you can't install under a counter. The filter is easy to clean, but the vent that discharges into it also collects lint and is a pain to remove and clean. Second, it collects lint on the seals. A quick wipe down every load keeps things clean, but be ready for that. Otherwise it ends up back in the clothes. We've had a few instances where it just didn't dry. One when the laundry room door was closed and the unit got hot. Seems to need good airflow even though it is using water to help condense moisture as it dries. It can handle large bedding. But you may find that it dries faster hanging it than in this machine, especially if it comes out damp and you select the dry only mode. Just hang it up if you can or drape over a railing. AI mode is fastest. Normal, wash/dry and dry only are 30 to 50 percent longer. Let the machine do the thinking when possible. Overall, fantastic purchase, hopefully it lasts.

Compared to a regular washer / dryer setup, know that you are probably signing up for regular habit of 2 mins between each cycle to clean up the lint and maybe the tub rim (just the plastic part). Other than that, its been great so far. I still delve in to the world of custom cycles but so far so good. This is also a huge upgrade from the older machine that I had so definitely geeking on how far wash combos have come
