The convenience of not having to transfer loads between the washer and dryer was a major selling point for me. However, after using the machine extensively, I've found that its drying capabilities fall far short of expectations. Despite experimenting with various settings and features touted by LG, including different drying cycles and options like AI, I consistently encounter issues with damp or even wet clothes post-cycle. This has led to repeated cycles to achieve dryness, defeating the purpose of efficiency that the combo promises. The frustration is compounded by the fact that the washer performs admirably; clothes emerge clean and well-cared for. However, the dryer component of the combo consistently underperforms. Even small loads intended for quick drying often require multiple cycles or extended drying times, which is both time-consuming and wasteful in terms of energy consumption. For now, my experience with this product has unfortunately been marked by persistent disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit does a great job washing and drying, with only our king size quilt needing extra drying time. Living in Phoenix, our low humidity probably helps with drying compared to what other reviewers have experienced. I really like that it only needs a 120v outlet and doesn't need venting. Since it's ventless, we're not wasting energy to heat already air-conditioned air and blow it out the roof. Switching to a single combo unit has also opened up a lot of space in our laundry room. Not having to leave the door open to dry is another huge plus. This washer/dryer combo works best for people who like to run loads overnight or while they're away. If you prefer to do all your laundry in one day, this machine might not be the right fit for you. The biggest downside I've found is having to clean the condenser coils every so often. You have to unscrew a few screws, remove a couple parts, and peel off the lint that's gotten past the screen and onto the coils. This was not mentioned in the manual. I only learned about it after LG texted me. My guess is they didn't plan on it being a regular maintenance item, or they would've made it easier to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this about 2 months ago. Both washing and drying take longer than a regular washer and dryer. Having the quick wash cycle helps cut some of that time. However drying takes 2-3 hours. Positive side is no more dryer vents to clean and worry about. Also have some space back in my laundry room.

AI mode is great and it has many additional modes for all clothes' etc. Best part for me is LG's WiFi platform. I can put wash into my machine in the morning and start a cycle and arrive home with fresh clothes. Excellent product

Great Idea!! The concept for Ventless Washer/Dryer Combo LG WashCombo™ All-in-One was awesome. Time saver, more efficient, wonderful design for ezlint filter - super! Love the large 5.0 capacity. We were able to set, start, depart, and return home and chore of moving washed clothes to dryer no more. Yippeee!

It's amazing how much more laundry we get done in a day. Simply removing the step of having to transfer loads creates more time to accomplish more laundry in the week. It has helped our busy family immensely. Runs great, super quiet, and has some neat features built in like the self dispensing detergent and the AI autowash and dry. Also love that it's ventless so we don't have to run a vent outside of our home. Highly recommend this washer dryer combo.

We have been extremely pleased with the LG WashCombo All in One unit. We were initially a little nervous to use an all in one machine but it has surpassed all expectations. We can wash a load of laundry from start to finish in only a couple short hours without pausing what we are doing to switch them from washer to dryer- which is a big timesaver when you have 3 kids! I am pleased with how large the unit is- we have washed every type of load from blankets (king size bed) to baby clothes and everything fits so seamlessly. With many different types of laundry, the ease of choosing the load type & dispensper from the app is a game changer! For the parents out there- it's a totally different ballgame to not have to load soap into the unit every load with the intelligence built in. We are actively finding ways to use less energy in our home and this fit that need with it's energy efficiency standards. The ventless and compact design was able to save us much needed space in our small laundry room. Overall- we would choose this unit over and over again! Great job, LG!

This thing is amazing! Saves time, reduces the worry of leaving clothes too long in your washer and getting that mildewed smell, and literally requires 3 button pushes to start. The AI feature is very cool and makes the process even less involved, but I appreciate being able to just wash or just dry based on my needs for each laundry load. The unit itself is very sleek and they’ve really thought out how to improve the design (a lint trap at the top so you don’t have to lean down to clean it, no special outlet required, and no need to deal with a flimsy aluminum vent snaking out of the wall). Overall cannot recommend enough, buy this and you won’t be disappointed!
