Customer reviews for LG 5.0 cu. ft. All-in-One Washer & Dryer Combo w/ Inverter HeatPump Technology forSpace saver! Great unit!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it! Is it perfect, no..but the space, time and energy savings make up for any shortcomings on this unit. We decided to go with the All-In One combo because our other units took up so much space, we constantly dropped cloths on the floor when moving from the washer to the dryer and we were constantly having to switch loads. This all-in-one combo save so much space and has also allowed us to cover up the vents in the laundry room that were letting all the cold air in the house because we no longer have to vent out. Does this take a little more time to dry on some loads..yes, but so what? It’s fine. I have seen some complaints about the lint being around the rubber gasket..again, not a big deal. As long as you use a damp cloth/sponge and clean it at the same time as you remove the lint from the trap..no biggie! This is a GREAT unit and I would buy again!
Outstanding in every way!
I wish we had this years ago! The all-in-one combo makes washing clothes very convenient since we dont have to transfer loads from the washer to the dryer. We also gained a lot of space with the all-in-one combo which allowed us to install a laundry folding station. The large drum allows us to wash a lot of clothes at once and I'm surprised how well it handles bath towels. Everything comes out dry!
Hey there. Sounds like the perfect laundry upgrade! The all-in-one combo is definitely a great space-saver, and it's awesome to hear how well it’s working for you. Enjoy the convenience and extra room for your folding station! ^ Diego
Highly recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Laundry is no longer a chore for me ever since I got this LG all in one WashCombo. All I need to do is dump the laundry into the tub and press start. Within about 2 hrs, wash and dry is complete and that's it! The design is sleek, space-saving and easy to install. It runs quietly and drying is gentle enough not to damage the clothes. I can remotely control the unit and also get reminders from the app once the cycle is done. With the ezdispense feature you can fill the dispenser once in a while so you don’t have to every time you do the laundry-- how convenient! The auto cleaning condenser is also neat, allowing me to clean the filter without having to touch it! It’s fully equipped with the features that I've always wanted. Highly recommend it.
Likes and Dislikes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive got the Washer/Dryer Combo, and has been using it for few months. I love the design and the combo spec that allows you to complete everything at once. It will wash and dry all at once, but one thing I do not like is that the dryer is super long. I usually do regular Washer/Dryer AI option which is the second main option, but the dryer takes about 3 hrs or long, so in total, it will take 4 hr and half. Also, after the dryer function, the rubber part of the machine has all the dust on it, meaning we would need to clean the parts (interior) every single time we load washer (or it will have all the dust in the washing cycle). Do not understand why it is not collecting the dust out to the dust bin. But i love the Thin Q app, where you can see the status of the load and even select options on the phone
Most Convenient Washer and Dryer combo out there
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looking into the latest technology I was originally very skeptical when considering to purchasing the unit. Upon receiving the unit I am blown away by the convenience of washing and drying in one streamlined process. I get very worried about leaving washed clothes in the washer when i am at work or at night sleeping as I may forget about putting clothes in the dryer. This eliminates the fear of smell due to the mold that develops when not dried immediately and wakeup/come back home to clean clothes to wear the following day. Another benefit of this laundry machine I've noticed is that it is very quiet, even when the washer spins to dry, I dont know when the washer spins to remove water because it is so quiet. One last observation I have is that this washer spins at a high RPM so that it removes more water than other front load laundry machines I've used. I notice this as I hang dry some of my clothes and have also noticed that my clothes dry quicker when hung dry.
Does the job better than two machines!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having used this machine for about a month and a half I can say that this machine is more convenient than having a separate washer and gas dryer, and uses a fraction of the water and energy. With very few exceptions all of my laundry has come out perfectly clean and dry, and those few exceptions I can attribute entirely to my own user error due to either improper loading of clothes, or improper mode selection. When I say user error I am being completely serious. The first thing to understand is you can't stuff this thing full to the brim with clothes, and often times less is more. The second thing to understand is there are too many modes - this machine should have only three functions available to a normal user: AI Wash + Dry, AI Wash, and Dry Only. Don't try to be smarter than the machine, just let it detect the load settings for you and let the machine worry about the rest. Now that I've said all that, this machine isn't perfect and I do have a few things to point out: Too much information has been crammed into the small display so it's easy to miss out on certain things, like whether or not the mode you've selected has the 'dry' function activated or not, and I wish more work had been done on this aspect of the UX (any user who's attempted to wash towels or bedding on one of the non-AI modes and ended up with a pile of wet laundry knows what I'm talking about). I also wish there was a way to have the drum light stay on for longer, or just have it on the entire time the machine is running - I can't be the only person weird enough to spend a Friday evening, favorite beverage in hand, watching my laundry. If I could have one feature added it would be this: I would love to have the ability to use both the detergent and softener tanks for detergent, but instead of linking them together I wish I could give them meaningful names in the UI and and select them separately at the time I start the machine. Like a lot of people I don't use fabric softener: it makes clothes feel weird and it ruins the ability for towels to absorb water. However, I do use both scented and unscented detergent. Some of the people in my household like the scented detergent, but some of us are sensitive or allergic to fragrances and prefer our laundry without. Having this ability would be a huge improvement in how I use the machine for my needs, and I think it would be the same for a lot of other people with families too.

Works Great
This is a great product, if you understand its design. If you are single, (like me), or just have smaller laundry loads most of the time and limited space, this is a great option for you. The Wash cycles have so many pre loaded cycles like jeans, towels etc., that it makes it easy to find what fits your laundry. I have been using pods for my detergent, but the dispenser system seems very high tech. How does it dry? Like it is designed. It will not dry like the conventional electric or gas dryers, but it is efficient when you realize it is using a small heat pump for drying, just keep the filters clean! use the wash + Dry function and go about your day!
Hello, Steve! We’re glad to hear how well your LG Washer Dryer Combo is fitting your lifestyle. The compact design, smart cycle options, and heat‑pump drying really shine when you understand how it’s built to work, and it’s great that the Wash + Dry function keeps your day moving smoothly. Keeping those filters clean is definitely the secret to getting the best performance out of it. For more feedback or questions, please send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com. Time and Effort Saver!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the LGE Washer/Dryer combo for a long enough time to have a definite opinion: I simply LOVE it! The following is a bullet list of my observations and opinions. Appearance • Dark grey is very attractive, the finish and fit are excellent. Installation • Easy installation. Simply hook up hot and cold water, insert drain hose, and plug it in to a regular 110v plug. Setup • I followed the guide and had it ready to go in less than 15 minutes. Controls • The controls are relatively straightforward, but I needed a bit of use to get familiarized with them. • I would prefer that the control panel be either facing upward or be angled upward slightly. o This would probably be less of a concern if I had the optional extra washer, or the optional pedestal installed. o This would raise the controls closer to eye level. Ease of Use • Except for the control placement mentioned above, this machine is quite easy to use. Performance • I have six adults using this machine and everyone loves it. • We had some dryer issues at first (it didn’t dry laundry completely), but it has improved greatly (perhaps due to software updates) and we no longer have any drying issues. • The capacity is quite large, and it handles heavy loads (like towels) easily. Summary This is an excellent machine that seems to effortlessly handle multiple laundry loads daily. It’s simple to use, saves time and also saves quite a bit of electricity.
All in one
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really am amazed that this washer dryer combo can sense and detect the soil level. My laundry is usually done in 2 hours and twenty minutes. I prefer to use the AI selction. My gentle clothes I really like the permanent press cycle. I have used the towels selection and then dry they come out so soft and fluffy. The automatic soap and fabric softener works really well. . I am impressed with the ventless system. I do find lint in the rubber of the door that needs to be cleaned of lint. I just bought the unit and learning about the different sections of wash and dry .
