[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After moving, I had to change the new washer and new dryer and decided to use washer/ dryer combo for the first time. On the day of installation, I was a little confused when I was told that I had to choose only either washer or dryer for haul away service. My first impression was that it is a simple design, as seen in the photo, and went well with the laundry room. Because I did not know how much amount of laundry would be fit for perfect dry, I felt like it wasn't completely dried at first, but I was able to gradually get to the appropriate amount. The most convenient thing is that if you do laundry late at night, you can finish drying without moving it to another dryer machine, and connect the LG App to receive notifications when washing or drying is finished. It would be nice to have the ability to add a drying cycle through the LG App while washing is in progress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace the GE all in one. It’s got a more compact design than the bulky (and shaky) GE. The LG is quieter, more efficient lint filter, easier to use drain for maintenance, and dries well. I do miss the slightly damp feature on GE which left clothes feeling nice and silky after shaking out bc I think the LG can feel too dry at times and clothes feel a bit crunchy, but we prefer LG for ease of use and maintenance. Once, the hose wasn’t installed far enough down and it kept triggering a blocked drain error, that’s the only issue we have had.

Also love it being vent free since it is in the basement and venting would be an issue. Self dispensing of the detergent and softener from the dispensing tanks is also a big plus, we only add detergent and softener every 5-6 weeks on average.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the machine on last Thursday. I have used 3 loads so far. One loads of 12 towels of all different sizes, One load of color clothes, and one load of all mix clothes with 2 twins bed sheets. They are all finished within 3 hours for wash and dry. Normally, I used the regular washer and dryer to complete in 2 hours. But I always have no time to move my clothes from washer to dryer. It’s a big help to be as I only need to take care 1 time.  In addition, this machine is running 120v only without gas. It’s safer for us use in home. My dryer valve was leaking natural gas before and it is a hazard for us if any gas leak happens.  In term of dry, few reviewers mentioned not dry. All my clothes are completely dried every time.  Yes. It takes longer to dry., but why you need to wash and dry very fast. Not many people will use the recent washed clothes instantly.  I believe the technology will be improved by time and most of the disadvantages will be less and less, but this machine is the latest technology of the washer and dryer combo. I strongly recommend this machine to everyone who wants to change their washer and dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These machines are not ready for production use yet. Amazing technology but really still need a lot more improvements before you can use them. There are 3 lint traps to clean, one of which you have to remove a rubber seal above a screw (obviously this was not intended to be needed by the customer on a regular basis). Even with all the cleaning of the lint traps which includes emptying water from the bottom, they still put out a tonne of lint down the drain. So much that our plumbing got jammed up! We are on septic and therefore we found out fairly quickly. I suspect people on sewers will not find out for a lot longer, but it's a ridiculous amount of lint that goes down the drain. If you have them delivered, I recommend washing some brand new towels in them. You will find that the lint trap in the bottom will get so clogged that it can't empty water from the drum. God forbid you have a laundry bucket setup- this will kill that in a hot minute.

This has been a great washer/dryer combo, especially for my small space. The huge 5.0 cu. ft. capacity has been perfect for getting all my laundry done easily and in under 2 hours. My favorite feature though has been the automatic dispensers for detergent and softener. Not having to measure these and fill the reservoirs every load has been an absolute game changer. It's super convenient overall and would highly recommend!

Not only does it take up minimal space but there is no need to switch wet clothes from the washer to the dryer. Only complaint is sometimes it leaks a bit but overall could not be happier

I just recently got the new LG WashCombo and I am so glad I did. We have a really busy household, and I feel like laundry is nonstop. This actually has become our second washer so we can keep up. I can throw in a load and then not worry about it. Next thing I know the close are dry, which comes in handy on game days. Plus this now allows be do a load of laundry at night, I can throw an extra load in before bed, and not worry about clothes or towels sitting wet overnight. Finally, the fact that it is a single machine is a huge space saver and made incorporating it into our home, so much easier!
