I had the prior model of this combo for 10 years and loved it and never had a service call! I purchased this as a replacement and the design has several improvements over the old model and has a larger capacity. I do not dry everything but the things I do dry do not shrink. Had a little learning curve for the settings from my old machine with less intelligence, but once you experiment you see the organization logic and the tiered selection options. Read the book! Didnt think I would like the auto detergent, softener because I prefer a lower amount dispensed, but was delighted you can set it for reg, more or less. Instead of fabric softener I have Lysol laundry disinfectant in my auto softener area, and there is another space to manually add bleach or bleach alternative. The timer often estimates more time than actually needed for the drying part of the operation, so I count that as the maximum time. I check it earlier if i want to make sure it doesnt run longer than necessary, but it often stops automatically earlier than the estimate when the sensor tells it to. So, mainly i put the stuff in, turn it on, it comes up to my usual setting. I review options and i press start then come back for the finished product. Every once in a while I load more detergent. I am not one to use the dryer to fluff up or refresh laundry. The method of drying is not the same as a standard hot air dryer so would not be as useful for fluffing. It warms the clothes but does not feel like it burns them with hot air so my dog still loves to burrow into the warm laundry. Just hope its internal brain lasts 10 years or more. Get the matching pedestal if you dont like to bend over too far. It raises it to a comfortable height for front loading.

I've been hoodwinked. All these ecstatic (incentivized?) reviews here and elsewhere like YouTube convinced me to pay a premium for this product. After installation, I was excited to give AI Wash & Dry a try. I gave it a whirl and was met with a damp bundle of clothes. Not sure how this got past QA, if they even bothered with it. I guess the "Washer/Dryer" combo was too good to be true (although great for marketing). Some features, like WiFi to track progress on your phone, is nice, but it seems LG was so enamored with all these peripheral features that they forgot to deliver a quality washer and (most especially) dryer. I suppose all I can do at this point is try to figure out how I'm going to return it, and warn others against buying it.

Product worked great at first. Quickly realized that lint gets through the filter and builds up on the condenser coils. Every few weeks you have to unscrew everything on the filter and manually remove the lint from the coils. Lately, have been constantly getting drain errors causing batches to fail and sit in water.

I received my WashCombo last week and it’s amazing! So convenient and very easy to use. My wife doesn’t let me do laundry but with this easy to use machine I can get the job done. It saved us a lot of space in the laundry room to use for storage. Very impressed and have reached out to family and friends about my new product. Thank you LG!

If there is a large amount of laundry, it is completely free from the time and inconvenience of having to put it in the washing machine and put it back in the dryer. You just have to put the laundry in there and forget it. The breakthrough function of all in one has relieved the inconvenience of housewives. It is also a liberation from having to put soapy water every time. If you put a certain amount in it, it will be solved by just putting the laundry more than five times. Although it is expensive, I would like to recommend this product to all housewives. It is a good product that solves both time and space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our clothes come out MUCH MORE WRINKLED (to the point we’ll probably have to iron), it takes nearly an entire day to wash/dry one load. For a small family, MAYBE. The only pro I can say is that it saves space but adds life frustration.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This invention is the BEST! It will take all the stress away from forgetting to change over your clothes from the washer to the dryer. This combo as well as stores your liquid detergent and fabric softener in it's own storage. You don't have to pour it in for each load. This seriously has changed out lives. We have a app that notifies us when the washing load is complete and drying is starting. This is a nice feature for when you do not want a particular piece of clothing dried. The app will also let you know when drying is complete. Our family of 5 will get our laundry done SO much quicker through the week. For example- we throw a load into the combo before going to bed, set a timer for it to start and be completely finished upon us waking up. Just like that, a load is complete!! Washed and dried. I also like the "steam" drying my clothes, it seems to be not so harsh on garments of all kinds. This truly has been a game changer when having to complete the chore of laundry.

We got this delivered a couple weeks ago. Seems to work well except whenever you dry something there is strong smell of plastic burning. Seems to be reducing with time but still is very much present. The first two loads we washed & dried we rewashed as all the laundry smelled like burning plastic when it came out. Now the laundry still smells but not as terribly. A little mixed if we should try return it or not. Note: The lint filter was not wet when we ran the dryer function

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got it, it dried great took a little longer. You did an update to show the correct drying time. Now it tells me it done and everything is wet! Even called help line tried them all still don't dry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit does a great job washing and drying, with only our king size quilt needing extra drying time. Living in Phoenix, our low humidity probably helps with drying compared to what other reviewers have experienced. I really like that it only needs a 120v outlet and doesn't need venting. Since it's ventless, we're not wasting energy to heat already air-conditioned air and blow it out the roof. Switching to a single combo unit has also opened up a lot of space in our laundry room. Not having to leave the door open to dry is another huge plus. This washer/dryer combo works best for people who like to run loads overnight or while they're away. If you prefer to do all your laundry in one day, this machine might not be the right fit for you. The biggest downside I've found is having to clean the condenser coils every so often. You have to unscrew a few screws, remove a couple parts, and peel off the lint that's gotten past the screen and onto the coils. This was not mentioned in the manual. I only learned about it after LG texted me. My guess is they didn't plan on it being a regular maintenance item, or they would've made it easier to do.
