I love how I can now do laundry in set-it-and-forget-it mode, without having to move the laundry from washer to dryer. And I can even start the wash from my phone! I can start it while I am at work the come home to find a freshly washed clothes and towels. I also love how much space it saves. I have a tiny basement, so I was so happy to see that now I have so much extra space for storage. And at the same time, this unit can hold more laundry than my previous washing machine. So basically, it's half the size of my previous washer/dryer set up, but it can wash more clothes. And much quieter too. Lastly, according to the energy star label, it will use half the electricity compared to my previous washing machine, so it looks like I will be saving money as well. To sum it up, this unit has exceeded my expectations in every aspect, and it is a much better upgrade from my previous washer/dryer separate set up. I'd recommend this unit to not just those don't have a lot of space but also anyone who want a top of the line washer/dryer with state of art technology.

It's amazing technology (the heat pump tech) and yes it dries clothes fully. If you choose Wash+Dry, they come out warm and dry. There are many options so you can do Wash Only, Dry Only as well. Not ready for production. Concept is awesome and there are some good things, but it seems like the maintenance issues are more of a headache than actually moving to the dryer. Lint is always on the cloths and there is a filter you have to drain all of the time so the clothes will dry. Water goes everywhere when you do this. This thing wasn't ready for mass distribution. :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the style and color. I have enjoyed the machines ability to wash and dry without switching loads. The clothes come out very clean and there are many options to choose from for washing. I love the app on my phone. It has a compact footprint and is very quiet. I really like the dispensing features for detergent and fabric softener, but wish it let me know when they are empty. It does take a bit longer to wash and dry than my other machines. Sometimes the clothes come out a little wrinkled.

I bought this washer & dryer combo 6 weeks ago. I have done a lot of laundry since then. Sometimes a big laundry, sometimes a large blanket. The results are very satisfying. Perfect washing and perfect drying. This combo is quiet and saves a lot of space. There is no burden on electricity costs. I love LG.

Washer dryer combo has been wonderful to use for start to finish laundry. Effective cleaning. The ventless system along with not requiring 220v are added bonuses. Extremely energy efficient as compared to standard electric dryer!!

We are busy family with 3 kids and we do tons of laundry a week. However, this product is so easy to use, even my 10 yo is able to do his own laundry now! Admittedly, it takes a bit of getting used to figure out the best cases for different cycles, volume of wash and materials but overall, very happy with the product. Also, of course, no product is perfect but this has added back ours of family time. Happy customer here!

I purchased this machine in February 2024 and have had repair people out to my home 4 times. The heat pump and the control panel were both replaced under warranty. Now the start button won’t work again and there is an error with the vibration sensor and the machine just shuts off in the middle of the wash cycle. I clean the lint filter between every cycle, but the repairmen told me that with this machine I need to hose off the filter and not just use the swipe feature. I have to not only rinse the filter, but also rinse the side filter, remove the back plastic screen (which isn’t easy!), and reach my hand into the flexible exhaust tube to manually remove the lint. Per manufacturer recommendation, the tub clean cycle must be run every 30 leads, but the repairmen suggested every 15. I have to drain the machineand clean the lower trap after every 2-3 loads and despite all of this, the machine constantly fills with lint. This causes the lint filter to fill with water which accumulates in the control panel and ruins the electronic features Over the past 1.5 years I have had to use the app to start this machine more than the start button. All of this also leads to dry times of 5+ hours. My machine sits on a pedestal and the pedestal also fills with water regularly due to the lint accumulation. Repairmen gave told me that my experience is not unique. This very expensive machine has been a nightmare.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having used this machine for about a month and a half I can say that this machine is more convenient than having a separate washer and gas dryer, and uses a fraction of the water and energy. With very few exceptions all of my laundry has come out perfectly clean and dry, and those few exceptions I can attribute entirely to my own user error due to either improper loading of clothes, or improper mode selection. When I say user error I am being completely serious. The first thing to understand is you can't stuff this thing full to the brim with clothes, and often times less is more. The second thing to understand is there are too many modes - this machine should have only three functions available to a normal user: AI Wash + Dry, AI Wash, and Dry Only. Don't try to be smarter than the machine, just let it detect the load settings for you and let the machine worry about the rest. Now that I've said all that, this machine isn't perfect and I do have a few things to point out: Too much information has been crammed into the small display so it's easy to miss out on certain things, like whether or not the mode you've selected has the 'dry' function activated or not, and I wish more work had been done on this aspect of the UX (any user who's attempted to wash towels or bedding on one of the non-AI modes and ended up with a pile of wet laundry knows what I'm talking about). I also wish there was a way to have the drum light stay on for longer, or just have it on the entire time the machine is running - I can't be the only person weird enough to spend a Friday evening, favorite beverage in hand, watching my laundry. If I could have one feature added it would be this: I would love to have the ability to use both the detergent and softener tanks for detergent, but instead of linking them together I wish I could give them meaningful names in the UI and and select them separately at the time I start the machine. Like a lot of people I don't use fabric softener: it makes clothes feel weird and it ruins the ability for towels to absorb water. However, I do use both scented and unscented detergent. Some of the people in my household like the scented detergent, but some of us are sensitive or allergic to fragrances and prefer our laundry without. Having this ability would be a huge improvement in how I use the machine for my needs, and I think it would be the same for a lot of other people with families too.

I pursued a two in one combo as my laundry room has an awkward layout and a single unit addressed some space concerns. The wash cycles work well. No complaints. But the unit is maintenance heavy compared to a traditional top load washer and separate dryer. The dry time is also a bit inconvenient. As a single person, I make it work and the advantage of the space savings still out weight the cons of the unit. But I would be leery to recommend this for a family. It has more cycle presets than I need, all of whihch seem basically the same, and then missing some other features I would like, such as controlling the dry temp or allowing for no heat drying. The capacity is great, fits my cotton king duvet, but... takes multiple dry cycles to actually get it dry. 4-6 hours in some cases and usually I have to let it air dry for the last bit. If you purchase this or other two in ones, make sure you perform the recommended maintenance, keep your loads smaller to not be inconvenienced by dry time, and if you have a multi person house hold, you may want to wait a few years when the technology inevitably gets a little better.
