[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start off we have A LOT of laundry at our house with 3 kids 6 and under. At this point we’ve ran 8 or 9 cycles. PROS: cleans much better than our old GE brand appliances, looks very sleek, interface is amazing, extremely quiet, our autistic son loves the tub light so he can watch it spinning, and we don’t have to stress about leaving laundry in the washing machine, and it’s very energy efficient and we expect to save money on our energy bill over time CONS: the cycle times do take longer than advertised even running small loads (expect 2.5-3 hours), and large loads have taken 3+ hours So overall there’s not a ton to complain about since doing laundry in separate appliances would take about the same time, and it seems like it’ll hold up with 3+ kids and all their laundry, but I feel like I need to deduct one star since under 2 hours (as advertised) seems unrealistic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very unhappy with this. Broke after 30 days. Vent trap stuck, was replaced and still not drying correctly. Dripping water in vent trap. Moisture in drum and excessive amounts of moist lint after each load wash or dry. Very long dry times even with small loads 3-4hrs and still damp. Trying to return and having issues with that. Not ideal for our family of 5. Can’t wait to get a separate washer and dryer. Wish I would have read more reviews.

What a great combo washer and dryer! Ventless Washer/Dryer Combo LG WashCombo™ All-in-One machine. This saves me a ton of time I don’t have to transfer the clothes out of the washer to another dryer machine. I love the large capacity this machine has.

I just bought this washer I like it bought it to save energy dryer works good it actually dried before the timer was up said 2 hrs to to dry after 1 hr thought I check to see if it was dry and it was. Did a 15 min wash 1 hr dry for 20 t shirts. So 1 hr 15 min for light wash. Did a full load of towels also took 2 hr 30 min ai wash dry to finish. I don't understand y people saying it 6 hr dry. If u use cold water it longer dry by a little. But I use warm and no problem. Also if the room u have the dryer in is colder the dry time is longer. Reson for my 3 star tho is the 2 lips on the lint tray was broken when. I received my dryer. Idk if I can get a replacement or not for that. But other than that great unit

Well after using this I can't imagine using anything else now. It has many cycle features but the Ai wash and dry just makes it simple. Dry times have been fine for us but we don't have a big family. Once you get used to it you wonder why we ever did it with 2 machines.

This is a review of an LG WM6998HBA washer/dryer All-in-One. I received the LG WM6998HBA washer/dryer All-in-One February the 27th as part of LG’s sampling program. The washer/dryer is a very nice-looking machine. It is a black steel in color with a smoke glass door. This is a front-loading machine with touch controls on the front and a large dial in the top center to select the wash cycles. My initial opinion is this is a neat idea! Load the machine with your laundry and cleaning products, pick a cycle, and turn it on. It does the wash and then automatically starts drying. Since this is an all-in-one machine, it eliminates the need to remove the laundry from the washer and move it to the dryer. It also eliminates the additional space of having two machines in place which is great for small spaces. The LG WM6998HBA uses inverter heat pump technology so it is ventless maximizing the locations it can be installed. There is a bit of a learning curve to using this machine so make sure to keep the owner’s manual bookmarked. The online owner’s manual is more thorough than the paper manual included with the machine. To use the machine, you push the “On” button and then use the large dial in the center to rotate to your desired cycle. Assuming you are using the default cycle you press the start button and the machine runs the cycle. If you wish to run other than a default cycle there are plenty of options. To the right of the dial is a display panel which is also a touch screen control. You can adjust your cycle from here. Some of the choices include water temperature, spin speed, soil level, and drying. Many of these sub menus contain additional levels of choices. There is an abundance of preprogrammed cycles. I counted 14 cycles on the main dial plus a tub clean cycle. I will probably use about three different cycles in my week-to-week use. There is an app for your phone LG ThinQ which allows you to set up your cycle on your phone and send it to the machine and remote start. LG ThinQ also has other features which track the cycles you have run, power usage, and allows you to add features to the machine. This is a new product for LG and I believe they did a good job but could have done a little better with the drying function. I found that most of the drying cycles took longer than the estimated display time on the machine. Frequently when the display would get down to the last 3 to 5 minutes it would add another 15 to 20 minutes sometimes more than once. In their advertisement they say “wash and dry in under 2 hours” however, I found most cycles take between 2 hours and 30 minutes to 3 hours and 20 minutes. Sorting your clothes by material thickness is key with this machine. The estimated times are somewhat closer when sorting by thickness. If you have some thicker materials in with some thinner materials, they may still be a little damp at the end of the cycle. LG, please add a switch for the light in future models. The smoked glass door is so dark you need a flashlight to see inside after the cycle starts. In closing I would like to point out that all of my loads so far have come out clean and fresh smelling.

Being able to plug it in to a regular 120V/20A circuit and with no need for an exhaust vent is a game changer! Definitely recommend!

My wife and I love our all in one washer dryer unit from LG. It has preformed wonderfully. The ability to start laundry and it be done when we return greatly outweighs the slightly increased time to finish the load. We have 5 people in our household and the machine keeps up without any issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received this amazing machine, it is quieter than I expected and is packed with features especially since you can control from the app. I used the AI sense feature for the unit to sense the load and determine the proper cycle and it worked great. I love not having to take laundry out and move to dryer.

That said, as others have noted, often the unit will get “stuck” in the dry cycle and run indefinitely until manually paused. The clothes are dry and the unit is extremely hot, but it continues to dry without stopping. This is extremely worrisome and dangerous.
