Great convenience with large washing chamber and larger compartments for detergent and fabric softerner that last for several loads before refills are needed. I would have given 5 stars but the dry cycle does not provide sufficient heat to dry clothes, extra cycle is needed to completely dry them. Overall, I'm happy with the unit.

This is my first experience with anything other than a traditional washer and dryer so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I am however, pleasantly surprised. The unit runs extremely well and seems well built. There have been several comments on the length of each cycle and you have to remember that this is a wash and dry time. You cannot compare the cycle lengths to that of a traditional washer and dryer. With that in mind, this unit does exactly what it is meant to do. One benefit of being a combo unit is that you can quite literally set it and forget it and not have to worry about moving your laundry into the dryer. A normal cycle start to finish is going to take you a little under 3 hours. You also have the option for a quick cycle which works great for lightly soiled clothes and will take you about an hour. Besides the operation of the unit, it looks great and the controls are well designed. While this unit might not be for everyone, if you know what to expect, I don't think that you will be disappointed.

I am so happy with this product. The all in one has made doing laundry so much easier because I usually have to rewash my laundry 50% of the time as I forget to dry it in time. It is also my first front loader washer which I was never a fan of but now I am. With all washers being more water/energy efficient there are many times I have spots on my clothes after using my previous top load washer making me have to run the load a 2nd time, but not with this one! Overall a great product and it being quiet is another perk.

The 5.0 cubic feet is huge - I can wash my king comforter no problem, and regular loads fit tons of clothes. It's super quiet and my clothes come out really clean every time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit does a great job washing and drying, with only our king size quilt needing extra drying time. Living in Phoenix, our low humidity probably helps with drying compared to what other reviewers have experienced. I really like that it only needs a 120v outlet and doesn't need venting. Since it's ventless, we're not wasting energy to heat already air-conditioned air and blow it out the roof. Switching to a single combo unit has also opened up a lot of space in our laundry room. Not having to leave the door open to dry is another huge plus. This washer/dryer combo works best for people who like to run loads overnight or while they're away. If you prefer to do all your laundry in one day, this machine might not be the right fit for you. The biggest downside I've found is having to clean the condenser coils every so often. You have to unscrew a few screws, remove a couple parts, and peel off the lint that's gotten past the screen and onto the coils. This was not mentioned in the manual. I only learned about it after LG texted me. My guess is they didn't plan on it being a regular maintenance item, or they would've made it easier to do.

We bought this unit because it was compact, the new dryer fixtures that were sent are amazing at catching pet hair! Is it possible to switch the door to the other side? The only downside is when you have to clean the bottom filter - even with a long container to catch the water after draining with smaller drain hose- opening the bigger hair catcher to clean has water draining into the bottom drawer and flows down the bottom of the machine onto the floor! it makes quite a mess and cleanup definitely need a product improvement for that part! Over all I love this washer dryer comb!! And where does all the lint go that does t get stuck in the lint trap or left in the machine which i clean after every wash? is there a compartment somewhere that also needs to be cleaned regularly?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The App: The Application very straight forward check status of a load, create a custom wash, etc The Energy consumption calculator is awesome "I am saving about 40 bucks a month from my old ge top loader and 220v front loader" The Unit: Cycles can take an additional hour compared to a traditional setup sometimes an additional 2hrs if you really load it up. I would argue the convenience of not having to move loads makes up for this. so about 2hrs for regular loads 4hrs for the big one. The filters need to be cleaned regularly as per the the manual other wise you will definitely see increased run times Having a reservoir for Detergent and Softeners is awesome. The unit seems to be very efficient with how it dispenses detergent in the AI wash/dry so much so that I rarely find myself adding more. The way the machine dries clothing without a traditional dryer duct is pretty neat using a reverse heat pump the hot wet air gets pushed into a coil and condenses the steam back down to water which is then pumped out. This prevents the machine from dumping steam into the home. Maintenance: This is likely one of the most sophisticated appliances on the market and with that comes diligent maintenance. follow the instructions and clean the dryer filter after every cycle and the water filter at least once a week. I have found that when I neglect to do this I see a drop in performance also I found that coil which is to the right of the filter had managed to get covered in lint and was causing the machine to not dry properly and caused steam to exit the filter after removing the lint from the coil the unit began to dry just as good when I first got it. I highly recommend this machine to anyone looking for a combo unit. It has far exceeded my and having the convenience of set it and forget it is the reason that I will never go back to a traditional washer dryer setup.

The people that give it bad reviews obviously overload it. If you don’t overload it the. It works perfectly.
