[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DO NOT BUY - this unit does not dry and it's been nonstop having servicing replace all the control panels, motherboard, sensors, etc. Nothing has fixed this brand-new expensive washer/dryer and it's been the worst experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are super pleased with the wash combo unit. Its is super stylish, compact and with so many features. All we have to do is load the unit, set it to wash and dry and come back later when its done. No more unloading washer and reloading into dryer. We love the self dispense soap and softener feature. So many cycle options. We struggled at first with unit as we were unfamiliar with this type of unit but have adjusted our way of laundry to match the unit. We have found it to wash well and dry fully when used correctly. If your considering this unit understand you may need to adjust your way of doing laundry. When you do you will realize what a fabulous machine this is. Looking forward to your next LG wondermachine.

I purchased the Wash/Combo All In One unit in November of 2024. There is much I like about it, (look, size, cleaning, etc.) but there are also some issues. The machine is operating as it should, i.e. soap dispensing, etc. but I find I can only do a small load if I want it to dry in less than 3 hours and not wrinkle terribly. Towels and jeans take forever. Almost every load comes out wrinkled. This is my major concern. I use the perm press cycle (increase the spin speed), then have to open the machine and shake out the clothes to reduce wrinkles and then dry on the perm press setting. Using this method helps, but things still wrinkle, but not as bad. This kind of defeats the purpose of the machine. It was an expensive choice to have the all in one option, so it is disappointing to have it not work as advertised. I have tried the AI wash cycle and the Wash/Dry cycle with the same result. Also, I am over 70 and the washer is so low that it is difficult to unload. I cannot afford to purchase the base unit, but I feel the washer is expensive enough that the base unit should be included, or the entire unit raised.

I bought this unit about a month ago to replace my stacked washer dryer units. It occupies the same space as the previous washing machine without the dryer and gave me the space to install three shelves over the top of the unit to hold my laundry products that were previously in a closet on the other side of the room. It took a few loads of laundry to get used to the additional drying time it required but reducing the wash load size brought the time down to an acceptable level. I added the combo washer to my LG ThinQ app to apply updates and get notifications when the wash load was complete. I like the fact that it runs on standard 115V connection. The wash/dry combo has programmed cycles for most wash loads plus has an option to use AI to detect fabric texture, soil level, and load size. It automatically selects the right functions, temperatures, and detergent amount for each load. I like the auto soap and softener dispenser function. I use the default settings for most features but it is customizable if needed. For just the two of us with average laundry needs it is the perfect machine for us.

It’s easy to forget, but I know it’s so important for the longevity of the machine. LG has made it super simple, with a handy reminder and easy-to-access filters. It's a small thing, but it really shows how thoughtfully designed this machine is. Honestly, I could go on and on about how great this washer/dryer combo is. I haven't even fully explored all the features yet, especially the ones you can unlock with the app! I’m beyond excited to discover even more.

I just bought this washer I like it bought it to save energy dryer works good it actually dried before the timer was up said 2 hrs to to dry after 1 hr thought I check to see if it was dry and it was. Did a 15 min wash 1 hr dry for 20 t shirts. So 1 hr 15 min for light wash. Did a full load of towels also took 2 hr 30 min ai wash dry to finish. I don't understand y people saying it 6 hr dry. If u use cold water it longer dry by a little. But I use warm and no problem. Also if the room u have the dryer in is colder the dry time is longer. Reson for my 3 star tho is the 2 lips on the lint tray was broken when. I received my dryer. Idk if I can get a replacement or not for that. But other than that great unit

This is perfect for me living in an apartment where space is key. Not only is it ventless but the All-In-One is a HUGE feature personally since one of the biggest pain points for me doing laundry is remembering to go back and change my clothes from the washer to the dryer, especially when I'm doing other chores around my place. So I love that with the WashCombo and ThinQ app, I don't have to and it does it for me so I come back to dry clothes. Very happy with my new machine!

LG's 2-in-1 WashCombo has been the best addition to my home thus far. It's helped improved laundry time, I can set it for both cycles and come back to a fresh batch of clothes ready to be folded and put away. It's helped free up space in my laundry room/area with the all in one element. I love the sleek and quiet design and technology. Overall, I am 100% satisfied with this product!

We have had our WM6998HBA for nearly a month now and I have been quite impressed with the machine. I love the AI Wash & Dry feature. The feature does a really good job in calculating the total wash and dry time for the loads. Wash and dry times can vary depending on type and amount of clothes. Overall, it is a great machine!

This thing is amazing. We press "Start" one time and when we come back the clothes are washed AND dried! It's A LOT LESS WORK and saves me so much time. I feel like I'm doing half the laundry that I used to because I'm making less trips to the laundry room! No more moving wet clothes into the dryer! The WashCombo is also really quiet, which is a huge bonus. We were able to sell our old washer and dryer and replace them with this single unit, which opened up a bunch of space in our laundry room, which is now cleaner, simpler, and has room for other items. If you're looking to save time and space I highly recommend the LG WashCombo! Really grateful for this product!
