The all-in-one design was just the right size for the small closet we put it in. It's a space saver and the fit was easy because we didnt have to take up space in the back for dryer ducting. We also liked how the machine automatically adds just the right amount of detergent and softner. The drying times for very large loads were longer but there wasnt a meaningful difference for smaller to moderate sized loads. But by far, the best feature of this machine is that it allows you start a load, walk away, then come back to clothes that are washed and dried. No need to transfer from washer to dryer!

I use all different settings and sometimes only do a wash, use my separate dryer and start a wash/dry combo on another load. This has truly saved me time. The app is great and I can see how many minutes are left, so I know to go down into the basement to switch it out. The app also has good updates with different melodies and mini screens to choose from.

I received my washer a little over a week ago and had to send in a review on this product. When I received the washer/dryer I wanted to test all of the listed features to make sure that everything worked as described. The wash & dry feature does adjust depending on the size of the load that you put in. So I started with a regular sized load, this resulted in a 1hr 52min cycle. I did find that if you open the washer door to add in clothes that it will increase the time allotted for the wash/dry cycle. That being said, when the wash/dry was complete the clothes were 90% dry. I left the clothes in while there was steam to completely dry. That did work and the clothes were fully dry within 10min. The transition between washer and dryer is seamless and you barely hear the machine when in a laundry room. I think that this is a great investment for a family that does laundry often. This washer dryer combo has saved so much time that I would be using switching from my washing machine to dryer.

This washer/ dryer combo SUCKS! Takes 3+ hrs to dry noteven a full load! The filter system SUCKS! I have to use a small hand held vaccum to get the lint around the washer drum… to suck out! Hardly any lint goes to the top filter where it’s suppose to go! When I use wash/dry cycle…. The computer counts down to 4 minutes….. then start scouting upwards! So I can’t ever put on n leave n go to bed cuz it would still be running when I wake up! I HATE IT! Stay away from this combo! Robin.

Also the ap is nice to see how much time is left on the load and get notifications. My circuit breaker kept tripping when the dryer came on but I don't know if that was the different type dryer or just the breaker wearing out. It is also nice to not need to vent it outside and need to clean out the vent hose.

Disclaimer we live in a Brooklyn apt with 2 kids! Laundry has always been a pain because we had to go to a laundrymat. We decided to convert our half bath into a laundry and it was the greatest decision along with choosing the combo. space was very limited and I did a ton of research on the best option. First and foremost let's address the elephant in the room. This combo takes a long time to dry. This is just the nature of the beast and as technologically advanced this combo is, it still has limitations, because we do not have an option to vent out. But one great thing about this washer dryer combo is the AI and wifi connectivity. This means I can put a load of laundry in the wash at night while we go to sleep or in the morning when I drop kids to school and it will wash and dry efficiently on its own. This dryer has always dried all of my clothes to completion however the caveat is I do have to put it on an additional dry cycle. Not a big issue for my family as we're out and about and I love that I can just set it and forget it and not come back to wet smelly clothes because I've left it in the washing machine to long. I also love how spacious the inside of the combo is. Even though it has a small footprint I can still fit a whole comforter plus additional clothes inside of the cavity. The combo really makes life easy. I love the fact that I never have to reload detergent and softener. I can get about 20 loads done before I have to reload the detergent and softener again. The platform on the combo is so easy to use. Again the Wi-Fi connectivity is a huge bonus. I love that I can add an additional dry cycle to my load from the comfort of my bed. The combo does an amazing and thorough job cleaning the clothes no matter what cycle. I've used it on a quick wash and heavy duty and the clothes always come out smelling great and completely clean. Again this is a perfect situation for smaller homes. Even for a family of 4 like myself. Obviously if you have vent out cababilites, have a bigger family or even a bigger space I recommend a traditional washer and dryer. This LG washer is seriously awesome! It has so many great features that make laundry super easy. The TurboWash and AI settings adjust the cycle based on the fabric, which means clothes come out really clean without over-washing. The steam and sanitizing options are a nice touch too—perfect for freshening up clothes and getting rid of allergens. It’s also really sleek and easy to use. The drying function works great, so I don’t have to wait forever for my clothes to be ready. Overall, it’s a solid all-in-one washer that’s efficient, convenient, and totally worth it!

We have had ours for a few months and I hate it! It might be great for a single person but for a family with dogs it sucks. The hair is always caked on the gasket. It is a nightmare to get it off of it too. It has never finished in 2 hours unless it’s the wash cycle only. It averages 3 hours 50 min. If I could trade it out I would.

I bought this product a few months ago and it is a potential fire hazard. The machine washes well but the dryer does not stop drying even when the clothes are extremely dry. The dryer will run for over 14 hours and I have to stop it. My clothes have also shrunk. This is not okay. This is very disappointing.
