It is nice to be able to put the clothes in and the next time you take them out they are washed and dried. We love that it adds the detergent and fabric softener as needed and seems to not use as much as I do when putting it in manually. It is nice to be able to monitor and control it with the Thin Q app. The controls are easy to set on the washer dryer. Before getting this one I had heard that these machines do not dry properly or take a long time to dry. I can tell you that it has completely dried our laundry every time, this is a lot better than our last dryer where we would have to go and pull the comforter out and turn it then put it back in to get it to dry. It is also a lot less quieter than our last ones The only negative comment I have is the controls are sensitive and if I bump the controls after setting them I have to remember to check the settings before starting the laundry. I highly recommend this washer dryer, we are very happy with the performance of the washer dryer.

Now L.G. comes out with an ai enabled combo washer and dryer. I wasn’t able to get into the manual before my wife had it connect to the thin q app on her phone and changing the settings and starting a wash. I have been around a lot of innovation projects at some large companies and LG has really pushed the envelope on this unit. It senses your loads, how dirty the clothes are and takes care of the rest with the AI Wash and Dry setting. If you don’t trust the AI to take over your washing duties, select from 15 other wash cycles. My wife has to control it. I chose to let the AI do its thing. Yes, I would agree that larger and heavier loads do take longer to dry over my gas dryer. But since we load it up before we leave for work, it has 8 hours to wash and dry. With the Thin Q app, you can extend the drying time or start another cycle. I guess it just takes you to think differently on how to use the washer/dryer with the heat pump. Auto detergent/softener dispenser and the top lint collector, they have simplified the laundry process for me and my family. Not to forget the little brother that I also picked up. The LG SideKick Pedestal Washer. The wife and girls like it for washing smaller loads and their undergarments that need a little more TLC or just need to be air dried. As my wife said, #lifeisgood…

Washer dryer combo has been wonderful to use for start to finish laundry. Effective cleaning. The ventless system along with not requiring 220v are added bonuses. Extremely energy efficient as compared to standard electric dryer!!

Purchased this product in January 2024 and have found it does not live up to my expectations in many ways. Clothes come out wrinkled on per any press cycle, clothes do not dry completely and have to run a separate dry cycle. With the cost of energy it has become very expensive to operate

This is machine is a life changer! It's so easy, even my 8 year old can wash and dry his own clothes. We often put a load in at night (why is it that the school uniform is always dirty?!?) and wake up to dry clean clothes. I love it so much I'm planning on putting another one in our master closet area. My electric bill has gone down and the clothes are clean and perfect.
