I know I can't expect the world with this cut, nonetheless it was tough and IMO there was an unreasonable amount of grissle/fat

Meat was very tough very hard to chew. Did not have a good flavor. I am going to be hesitant to buy again.

Purchased for quick fry sandwiches. Very fresh and nice lean slices of beef but overall tri-tip is chewy-No fault of Sams. Will continue to buy their thin cut strip steaks which are always tender and delicious.

The meat was pricey
