[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Pergola was so easy to assemble, just as described. I water sealed the entire thing before assembly. As you can see in the photos it looks great. I've had people tell me it looks like it came out of Better Homes and Gardens.

My 25 year old grandson volunteered to assemble it in my back yard. A little nervous, never having done anything like this, the three huge boxes were a little scary!! Once he got started it became very exciting. Everything came together beautifully. The instructions were perfect and the entire unit went together beautifully. Not a missing bolt or screw. No boards with a scratch or dent. It is perfect. We love it and highly recommend anyone , even an inexperienced handyman, to buy your products. We are so happy we did!!!

I bought this about a month ago. My client wanted one in her backyard. I showed her this one and she approved it. It took about half a day for my partner and I to assemble it. Easy to follow instructions. Client was beyond pleased with how it turned out. Highly recommended.

The hardest part was holding the two sides up to start assembling the top. It takes at least two people for that part. So far, it’s been very durable, wind resistant, and maintenance-free.

We purchased this pergola about 2 months ago. Excellent communication about delivery. We also purchased the assembly. It was well worth the price. The gentleman took 5 hours to get it all assembled. The pergola is well constructed. It adds to the atmosphere we are looking for in our outdoor oasis.

We just bought this pergola (actually 2) and put one up last weekend. It looks amazing and I absolutely LOVE it. such a great addition to our backyard and it's just like I imagined it. It looks some time to put it up but that was expected. I appreciated the labeling of the wood pieces and the screws.Very well organized. The only suggestion I have is to add a spacer for the top slats that you can use for each one as you work through putting them together (since there are no pre-drilled holes for most of them). Would cut down on some time it takes to measure them. A piece was damaged and I called customer service and they were outstanding, specifically Mark and Chase. they were patient, kind, and I couldn't believe that it was so easy to get a replacement. The piece is already shipped! Kudos to the people and the company as a whole! Great experience all the way around.

We search all over the web, the main criteria was reasonable price and great reviews. The Backyard Discovery was a clear winner. We purchased the pergola about 7 months ago and we were not disappointed! It was not so hard to out it together in 2 people (my hubby and I) and we managed to built it over the weekend. The pergola is fantastic, great quality and looks amazing. It's big enough for a table with 6 chairs, and of course we added strong lights on the top. The electric outlet is a handy feature. We love our pergola and recommend it to everyone!
