The new recipe is so horrible, I wanted to cry. I usually purchase two trays because I like one tray warm and cold leftovers the next day. I threw the second prepared tray in the garbage. It literally tasted like they stuffed the pasta with bland cream of chicken soup and topped it with sauce and mozzarella to make it look nice. I absolutely agree other “most recent” reviews. This was a regular purchase that I will not buy ever again.

Why did you change this recipe. The original recipe was perfect in every way. I bought it because I was having a craving for it and I took one bite and instantly my stomach turned. I've had bad manicotti before but this one was the worst. Please change it back and then never touch it again.

This Manicotti used to be my family's favorite dish and like others have said Sam's has ruined the recipe! Not only does the cheese taste nothing like ricotta, but it has a wallpaper paste consistency that resembles canned cheese. The sauce is also different and the cheese that is sprinkled on top didn't even melt properly. Not to mention the sodium content is worse than a serving of ramen! Sadly they took a really good meal and made it absolutely inedible! Very disappointing and will not be buying this again. This is probably another example of corporations trying to cut costs and ruining a once great item!

This is not the same recipe/ingredients. The ricotta cheese does not taste like ricotta cheese. It tastes like a gooey cheese of some sort and it salter in some parts of the manicotti. It seems like the cheese on top is a cheap cheese. I tried to doctor it up to make it taste better. If they keep the same ingredients they have changed. I won't be pitching this again.

We used to really love the manicotti from Samsclub, but we bought some today and it seems they have changed their recipe. Whatever they have done is not good. No one in our family of six could finish their dinner today, parents included. Please go back to the old recipe!

We have picked up and loved the Member's Mark Cheese Manicotti many times and before today they had been great. Sometime between July 2026, and today 9-4-2026 they changed the recipe. Guessing that they started using a much lower quality ricotta. Barely recognizable as ricotta cheese. Texture was way off and flavor was basically non existent. Sauce seemed a bit more pasty as well. Price was the same though... would have been nice to be given a heads up and the change before we purchased. Would have been much happier paying a little more for the old recipe than paying the same price for a far worst recipe.

We bought this prepared meal quite frequently because its easy to get supper on the table but it was also very good and had been a favorite in our home. Unfortunately, like many other reviews, we disliked this batch VERY much. Sam's has changed the recipe and it is not good at all. The filling tasted like some kind of a sauce (?)- not ricotta - I can't put my finger on what it DID taste like but it wasn't good. The texture was mushy. (This is not due to it still being super hot either.) It's almost the consistency of a sauce rather than cheese. Very strange. It also tastes different and not in a good way. Hey, Sam's! Please go back to the old recipe!

I used to love having this handy for when I have no time to prep. The recipe for this must have changed because it went from being a very good alternative to take out and now it's just a lot of salty mush. Please bring back the old version this is so terrible.

**New recipe as of June/July seems like. We used to order this at least once a month and everybody liked it. The last two times starting in June, and then most recently this week, the texture of the ricotta cheese is completely different. They are definitely trying to make it cheaper because the ricotta has a flour-like taste and texture to it. We will not be purchasing again until they go back to the old recipe.

This used to be a weekly staple in our house until recently! The recipe has changed and NOT for the better! Our most recent purchase was definitely "different" and almost had a fishy taste to it. We purchased two, attempted to eat one and threw out the other one. PLEASE bring the original recipe back!
