[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to the high end dryer that this Samsung replaced the Samsung wins hands down. The settings available can be customized to almost any fabric. I found this especially important when I’m drying items that could shrink if the temperature is not precise. Also, this is the first dryer I have owned that has steam dry. The steam feature helps since I’m adverse to ironing. Almost everything comes out ready to hang or wear. There is even a provided accessory to allow for flat drying delicate items. Controls are mostly hidden until needed which adds to the very clean and modern design. I chose the brushed dark blue stainless finish and am pleased with the design punch it gives to a pretty standard laundry room. The matching pedestal raises the front-loading dryer for easier loading/unloading of clothes. The pedestal also proved extra storage. Be sure to measure carefully to ensure that the raised unit will fit if you have cabinets over the dryer. All in all this is a smart choice.

My dryer only worked for about 1 day before the drum stopped spinning. The digital display continues to count down as if the device is running, but nothing is happening. I have since spent time every day for the last week working with Samsung support trying to get a replacement. I still don't have that scheduled after many calls.

I can say we love the dryer for how it functions it cleans fast no smells left on clothing. You can fit a really really good amount inside the dryer that is a great bonus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a beautiful Front Load Dryer. It has several preselected settings to chose from. With its smart control dial and Wi-Fi connectivity you can choose your cycle straight from your phone and send it to your dryer. It is very spacious and comes with a interior light where you can see if you left behind any clothes. The only thing that I think could be better is the lint holder it is a bit difficult to empty. I also wish I would have stayed with the recommended selection to dry my clothes because when I selected 40 min it did not dry my clothes completely so I had to put in for an additional 30 min. It also notifies you via app when your cycle is complete as well as plays a completion song. I am highly satisfied with my purchase.

The control panel is simple. Similar to it sibling the dryer is filled with features. The dryer came with inlet for water connection - so no manual refills. The drying cycles are many - covering all kinds of loads. The dryer also works with Smart things app. That is really useful. The dryer senses optimal dryness - that preserves the clothes. And while working - it is quiet.

I wasn't sure how the navy set would look in our house at first, so I was overjoyed when it showed up. Although I've never called a washer and dryer lovely, it actually is. I adore how simple and elegant it is; it has a very high-end look and feel. A tremendous amount of clothing is stored in the drums. With my new Samsung, I can easily finish what would have taken me three loads with my older equipment. The ability to use a smartphone to operate the equipment was something I found to be quite simple to understand. The various settings are simply adjusted using my iPhone after downloading the app and connecting our devices with the QR code. Now that we are alerted when a load is finished, my husband may be requested to dry loads right away rather than letting the wet items sit for a long time. I sat in our laundry room the day we received our units and washed loads upon loads of laundry. It was enjoyable to browse through and discover all the alternatives, so I basically washed every blanket, towel, and sheet in the home. The machine's quietness startled me more than any other aspect that I found impressive. It was so quiet that I kept checking to see if the computers or the app were still active. As absurd as it seems, I now find myself constantly looking to do more laundry since I adore my new Samsung.

Not sure, but it’s the only thing that I’ve used after having it for two weeks. Also, I cannot change up from a wash feature to simply a rinse and spin feature without it having to empty completely out first and having to start over

I am not sure why many review's overall product ratings include the performance of the 3rd party installation team Samsung uses. This is the appliance being reviewed not the service provided by a company. Yes, of course like everyone else I had my handful of issues from the company such as: marking my delivery complete after realizing they lost my appliance in their warehouse, refusing to install the hose assembly to my home's water line, refusing to provide or give me the exhaust kit included in the dryer installation kit for all dryer installations, to mounting the pedestals with the Styrofoam packaging left between the two items resulting in violent shaking and causing my full laundry detergent container to fall over and break onto the floor/wall and under my appliances, and lastly having 3 separate return appointments to correct these issues properly. Honestly after using the LG smart Washer & Dryer, I really appreciate not having many of the growing pains those appliances gave me. I love the clean, unique, and minimal look instead of the large, rounded, and bulky design many company's go for. As with all appliances, read up on best uses and maintenance sections of your instruction manual and you will prevent many of the premature issues other reviewer's are mentioning. Also read up on all the cycles offered, you'll be pleasantly surprised what you can use these appliance for :)! I added a cabinet system around the two appliance to cover the entire wall, and it looks so clean with the straight flat look.

It has been several months since our purchase. The washing machine is just simply o.k., the dryer is horrible. No matter what setting, my clothes never dry completely. Towels need two cycles, one on towels and another timed dry because it always completes too soon and towels don't dry properly. Wouldn't purchase again.
